JOSHUA IS A GOOD BOY, AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE! 🥰 Seriously, Joshua is one of those characters who are big jerks to the protagonist, but you just can’t help but love him. And also, I love it when he genuinely smiles and laughs! You never see any of that in TWEWY! (Well, maaaaybe once in the ending, but...) He’s too precious! (Oops. Did I just say that out loud? 😳)
You know I have been practicing Joshua’s voice for quite some time and I’ve become really good at it, I started practicing right when dream drop distance came out into thousand 12 and I had made amends progress since then :-) needless to say I am pretty proud of myself for that :-)
OK I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again it’s a real shame that he didn’t gain any spotlighting kingdom hearts three Joshua would’ve been a great asset to helping in the war with the seven guardians of light especially since he has a vast knowledge on portals. Master Xheanort Would not be able to see those guys coming even from a mile away considering Joshua has special powers :-)
Oh crap, I never even thought about that. That's actually really smart, I could see it working. Maybe in the next main KH game, he'll get more recognition.
@@herbey9826 yeah he definitely deserves it :-) and I'm sorry that I analyzed every little detail it's just my highly evolved brain. LOL you know me I'm always trying so hard to make sense of a lot of things and pay attention too many details that's why a lot of people tend to call me a bit of a nerd :-) LOL
I mean... levitation, forced-teleportation of targets using his phone camera, including dropping heavy objects, calling down divine judgement via columns of light... What Joshua can do is actually innocent by TWEWY standards, he's more or less the strongest Reaper and weakest Angel in Shibuya, in terms of power scaling. A demigod, more or less. But TWEWY power is entirely based on the strength of a soul's imagination, so things work a bit differently to KH. Unfortunately, with being an Angel, come rules to how Joshua's 'supposed' to operate. His powers are limited outside of his version of Shibuya, for instance. He's also on the run from an opponent or two who would very much like to overthrow him and take his position for themselves, so he's not the kind of person you could just call at your leisure to come help out.
@@herbey9826 Yeah and let’s be honest I hope I get to see him in the new sequel of the world ends with you that’s coming up on July 25 which is 24 days after my birthday, that would be an amazing thing to see him again and I would probably kick out and start crying but hey you know what I love his character he reminds me so much of myself since we both have supernatural abilities :-)

It's a combination of really bad direction (Joshua's voice in the original was colder and a bit deeper, here he sounds less like an arrogant prissy guy and more like a girl) and Kingdom Hearts' atrocious writing.

God... I dont like his voice. It sounds too... too high? idk what it is. I think I just grew accustomed to the compressed version of his voice lines from the TWEWY Game, he sounds a lot younger here and I dont like it. Doesnt fit as well imo
Even his laugh is different, I'm not sure how they managed to mess that up but I think it's mostly to do with the bad voice direction Kingdom Hearts has, the new lines in Final Remix don't sound nearly as off

I dont really like the voice direction they took for Joshua. He doesn't sound... punchable, yet interesting enough like the game, ya know?
