      @@daviesugo7641Because my last name (Zajíček) means actually bunny in czech language 😁
      I remember when i was like 15 years old, i bought T-shirt with bunny who was lifting weights and the T-shirt said "bunny of steel" so i started calling myself like that😂

    I competed against Philip at OSG and took 10th. It was crazy that a 19 year old who had to get permission to leave school, absolutely dominated myself and everyone else. There were 90kg guys who looked like they had 15kg more muscle than him and he whooped them easily. He is truly a freak of nature.

    Watching Bromleys recap of his own personal hell at OSG compared to Filips cruising to a gold medal at 19 is an eye opening reminder that no matter how hard you work some people are just built different.

    Seems like a very grounded, level headed, young man. The fact he is that strong, is a bonus. *Edit* Forgot to mention, just having you encourage him during the lifts is probably worth twenty pounds. You have a knack for bringing the best out of people.

    100 reps of squats in that short a span of time shows that he's not just genetically gifted. Takes some grit to push through that.

    Maybe the pinching is more related to your normal day? Sleeping in a certain position, sitting for longer or in a certain position.

  • @McWhatevs
    @McWhatevs 7 годин тому +1

    I'm super keen to hear more on your bar slack conspiracy. I'm slow AF off the floor and am convinced that I fluff around down there too long which is part of the problem. I'm also barely an intermediate deadlifter, but am considering more of a grip and rip approach.

  • @kevingondwe
    @kevingondwe 17 годин тому +3

    Taking the slack out of the bar helped me with the mind muscle connection and not losing my starting hip position. Whenever I trying to just yank it off the floor it feels like my lower back is about to blow up. I guess it works for me, if yanking it does feel right it’s a good idea to try pulling the slack out first. 3:24

    Literally had someone call me a moron and tell me i was talking bullshit saying 220 was far too heavy to just hang out when i suggested on another video that you should hang out with the bar on your back for a few seconds to recover to save using up your 30 seconds recovery time!!! Now i feel so justified.

    I think taking the slack off the bar is more of a safety queue, to avoid pulling explosively if your low back isn't really feeling good. But if you're an athlete who knows what they're doing, probably unnecessary.

    • @ryanm2821
      @ryanm2821 12 годин тому

      He didn't talk down to him that's how Mitch talks to pretty much all of his features. The 19 year old is an incredible athlete but same amount of experience? That's a wild take. He wants to be a Strong Man and he is with someone who's only real threat in the world right now is Thor.

      @@Joe-wt6eh Mitch has more top lvl trophies than he has room for. He is the best strong man in the world right now that's why Fillip drove 8 hours to train with him and that's why Mitch can coach him. I mean absolutely no hate towards Filip he is a beast and will be a monster one day I'm just saying the experience is not even close.
