@@daviesugo7641Because my last name (Zajíček) means actually bunny in czech language 😁 I remember when i was like 15 years old, i bought T-shirt with bunny who was lifting weights and the T-shirt said "bunny of steel" so i started calling myself like that😂
I competed against Philip at OSG and took 10th. It was crazy that a 19 year old who had to get permission to leave school, absolutely dominated myself and everyone else. There were 90kg guys who looked like they had 15kg more muscle than him and he whooped them easily. He is truly a freak of nature.
Watching Bromleys recap of his own personal hell at OSG compared to Filips cruising to a gold medal at 19 is an eye opening reminder that no matter how hard you work some people are just built different.
Seems like a very grounded, level headed, young man. The fact he is that strong, is a bonus. *Edit* Forgot to mention, just having you encourage him during the lifts is probably worth twenty pounds. You have a knack for bringing the best out of people.
I'm super keen to hear more on your bar slack conspiracy. I'm slow AF off the floor and am convinced that I fluff around down there too long which is part of the problem. I'm also barely an intermediate deadlifter, but am considering more of a grip and rip approach.
Taking the slack out of the bar helped me with the mind muscle connection and not losing my starting hip position. Whenever I trying to just yank it off the floor it feels like my lower back is about to blow up. I guess it works for me, if yanking it does feel right it’s a good idea to try pulling the slack out first. 3:24
Literally had someone call me a moron and tell me i was talking bullshit saying 220 was far too heavy to just hang out when i suggested on another video that you should hang out with the bar on your back for a few seconds to recover to save using up your 30 seconds recovery time!!! Now i feel so justified.
I’ve just watched the Stongman classic 2024, firstly congratulations on winning. But I would’ve like to see you go full out on the stones with Tom….. I know you didn’t NEED to but the fans would’ve loved to see it.
I think taking the slack off the bar is more of a safety queue, to avoid pulling explosively if your low back isn't really feeling good. But if you're an athlete who knows what they're doing, probably unnecessary.
He didn't talk down to him that's how Mitch talks to pretty much all of his features. The 19 year old is an incredible athlete but same amount of experience? That's a wild take. He wants to be a Strong Man and he is with someone who's only real threat in the world right now is Thor.
@@Joe-wt6eh Mitch has more top lvl trophies than he has room for. Thanks a lot for inviting me! Almost died doing that squats, but it was worth it!!🔥
Why the name bunny of steel tho?

you're a remarkable athlete Filip, just stay kind and humble & be your best !!! You can make a very big positive difference in others lives.
It was an honor to welcome you to our Gym!
Nice Gym Guys 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Wow, that squat challenge was insane, his mental and cardiovascular grind is insane (also strength!)
Filip is such a nice guy. Respectful, calm and collected.

100 reps of squats in that short a span of time shows that he's not just genetically gifted. Takes some grit to push through that.
So excited for this collaboration!
Same 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks Hoop for introducing us to this incredible athlete....Filip - keep fighting brother. Hoop this was a great Christmas gift.
Maybe the pinching is more related to your normal day? Sleeping in a certain position, sitting for longer or in a certain position.

2:30 definitely worth a Czech
great video, love to see these personalities
That's one tough 19 year old the way he handled the squat challenge. See you at WSM heavyweights soon

That is the only way the full challenge will happen. Those short rests in between sets won't get u thru it. Gotta rest mid set.
Bless that man. Philip 💯 from Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️
What a cruel thing to put someone through, hell of a set Filip
Great Video Guys 🔥🔥🔥💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Great video, hope everyone has a nice Christmas
What a cool dude Filip comes across as. Great video
he was 19 year old 19 year ago yeah

well done, and he went proper depth every rep...
OSG was great. The boy done good.
Holy Smith that kid is deceivingly strong AF !!

It was insane to see him at OSG
Looking forward to more squat challenges. Hope you stop getting pinched during squats soon!
Love to see you with our Czech future monster 💪
It's funny to look at the difference in hand position during the squats
if hes 19 then in 16
He's real name is Elton John Lennon
@@thomasrosendahl2783 truth seekers
...so you're 16 then
He looks old genuinely.
Thor pulls the slack out of the bar, and is never thrown out of position.
Thats all you need to know.
This video made me thinking of i should finally start using a belt for my deadlifts
. #LHBK
Awesome collab!
Is Mitch injured? Deadlifts looked hard for him
Hey Mitch, Why your squat has less range of motion? You barely break parallel. This is not a hate question. I have nothing but respect for you.
"Under 19s, I'm coming for you" 🚨 🚨 🚨
I was 19 in Canada started late failed a year brain surgery missing half year
i really gotta get some of what they're putting in czech water
When a 505kg Mitchell?
9:37 then grow a pair!! 😂😂
Train with me next (I'm older, heavier, and weaker than Filip)
Those bottom half squat reps though.....would they count in the competition?
Definitely not, haha :) that was just because i wanted to do that reps as fast as possibel
Nice man. We'll done. Stronger than me for sure.
Czech power!

Nonso
There are powerlifters at his age who are way stronger
Nevertheless quite impressive 👌
Tell those powelifters to run a 360kg yoke 15m in sub 9s lol
I don't think Mitchell's squat is deep enough to be counted in any competition
agreed, needs 1-2 more inches of depth

The other guys lock out does not count either 🥸

Hey man, please quit using the lords name in vain. Thank you.
Tom Stoltman was the first 19 year old strongest man in the world and Philip is nothing compared to Tom
Why is Mitch talking down to him and trying to coach him. They have the same amount of experience and both number 1 in their class
