@@daviesugo7641Because my last name (Zajíček) means actually bunny in czech language 😁 I remember when i was like 15 years old, i bought T-shirt with bunny who was lifting weights and the T-shirt said "bunny of steel" so i started calling myself like that😂
Watching Bromleys recap of his own personal hell at OSG compared to Filips cruising to a gold medal at 19 is an eye opening reminder that no matter how hard you work some people are just built different.
I competed against Philip at OSG and took 10th. It was crazy that a 19 year old who had to get permission to leave school, absolutely dominated myself and everyone else. There were 90kg guys who looked like they had 15kg more muscle than him and he whooped them easily. He is truly a freak of nature.
Seems like a very grounded, level headed, young man. The fact he is that strong, is a bonus. *Edit* Forgot to mention, just having you encourage him during the lifts is probably worth twenty pounds. You have a knack for bringing the best out of people.
this dude smashed the powerlifting goat while looking like he doesn't even lift, shows you that size really means shit all, just need to have the gift.
Literally had someone call me a moron and tell me i was talking bullshit saying 220 was far too heavy to just hang out when i suggested on another video that you should hang out with the bar on your back for a few seconds to recover to save using up your 30 seconds recovery time!!! Now i feel so justified.
I've been watching zajíček for like 3 years now, many times I reacted to something he posted he replied and very kindly talked to me so, big up and keep it up
I'm super keen to hear more on your bar slack conspiracy. I'm slow AF off the floor and am convinced that I fluff around down there too long which is part of the problem. I'm also barely an intermediate deadlifter, but am considering more of a grip and rip approach.
Taking the slack out of the bar helped me with the mind muscle connection and not losing my starting hip position. Whenever I trying to just yank it off the floor it feels like my lower back is about to blow up. I guess it works for me, if yanking it does feel right it’s a good idea to try pulling the slack out first. 3:24
Sounds like he's on the same trajectory as Carlos Nasar of Bulgaria, who now is the current Worlrld and Olympic champion 89kg weightlifter at 20 years old. Just the strongest man out there in that weight division right now.
I think taking the slack off the bar is more of a safety queue, to avoid pulling explosively if your low back isn't really feeling good. But if you're an athlete who knows what they're doing, probably unnecessary.
MY OPINION IS, "taking slack out of th bar" is useful when pulling huge weights. othewise it may as well be an axle that you are pulling on. let the quads do some work, save your lumbar. the best pul slack above 1,000 pounds. eddie hall, brian shaw, hafthor and martins.. leave lumbar issues to misguided powerlifters

I dont get this, when I competed, my friend who was 18 at the time was alot stronger besides deadlift with a 817,5kg total (832,5kg not on openpowerlifting). around 700kg raw @ 89kg bw.

Wow, that squat challenge was insane, his mental and cardiovascular grind is insane (also strength!)
Filip is such a nice guy. Respectful, calm and collected.
What a dude.. ive met him at amateur competition.. those days 17 year old boy dominated the competition.
Hell yeah 👌🏻💪🏻
Thanks Hoop for introducing us to this incredible athlete....Filip - keep fighting brother. Hoop this was a great Christmas gift.

100 reps of squats in that short a span of time shows that he's not just genetically gifted. Takes some grit to push through that.
AFTER maxing on Deadlift
That's one tough 19 year old the way he handled the squat challenge. See you at WSM heavyweights soon

So excited for this collaboration!

That is the only way the full challenge will happen. Those short rests in between sets won't get u thru it. Gotta rest mid set.
Dude is absolute sleeper build. Very cool.

Bless that man. Philip 💯 from Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️
Maybe the pinching is more related to your normal day? Sleeping in a certain position, sitting for longer or in a certain position.
Excellent video- seems like an awesome, hardworking young man. Keep up the great work👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥

What a cool dude Filip comes across as. Great video
Have fun is the best coaching advice
lol did not expect that Nachtblut mention
cheers from Germany
Thor pulls the slack out of the bar, and is never thrown out of position.
Thats all you need to know.
lmao confused north american wondering how europeans are still in school at 19 😂
What a cruel thing to put someone through, hell of a set Filip
Holy Smith that kid is deceivingly strong AF !!
Well, looks like you met your range of motion best friends ! Thanks for the video the futur of this guy will be insane
0:46 The 19-year-old knows this is going to be tough, so rocking himself into his safe place might not be the worst idea
well done, and he went proper depth every rep...
It's strange that Mitchell is not wearing shorts

OSG was great. The boy done good.
I think taking the slack out needs to be combined with wedging into the slack. But when mastering the skill it is amazing.
Love to see you with our Czech future monster 💪
Ah the classic strongman pinch excuse 👌 love it
he was 19 year old 19 year ago yeah
Looking forward to more squat challenges. Hope you stop getting pinched during squats soon!
It was insane to see him at OSG
It's funny to look at the difference in hand position during the squats
This video made me thinking of i should finally start using a belt for my deadlifts

i really gotta get some of what they're putting in czech water
Train with me next (I'm older, heavier, and weaker than Filip)

Hey Mitch, Why your squat has less range of motion? You barely break parallel. This is not a hate question. I have nothing but respect for you.
Cuz strongman generally doesnt require you to squat deep

What a sweet kid I like him
When a 505kg Mitchell?
he only did a full squat when he rested in between,in my opinion..........
Look up Karlos Nassar for the strongest 19 year old

19 and wsm u-90kg. Whats next
Sure hes 19 but he has been training for 6 years+
IM THE WORLDS STRONGEST 19 YEAR OLD! YOU LIKE THE WEAKEST!

The only way anyone is pulling off that ridiculous challenge is by doing pig squats 3 or 4 times a week but even that's pure hell lol
He looks about 42. 😂
The strongest 19 Yr old is nonso also known as nojo
different sport, this is strongman
@elantonelle Lol
that's how people get rhabdo
Could pass for age 28 to 34

doing peds while teen is so cool
I will say he is 30-35y……and i will say buy look he is not lifting….no hate …just my opinion before i start watching
hes the oldest 19year old ive ever seen lol
I don't think Mitchell's squat is deep enough to be counted in any competition
agreed, needs 1-2 more inches of depth
