What a soulful sound he has, how outstanding is his technique and how much fire and love he has for this beautiful music...I'm myself professional violinist and I'm REALLY impressed. This is absolutely not a case of 'for his age he is good'. This guy is in every perspective able to be compared with the greatest violinists worldwide. I wish him that he will be able to keep his love and passion for playing the violin.. He has to give such a lot. Absolutely stunningly awesome!

I think if we already know that he is only 16 our judgement of his playing will be influenced by that fact. How much more can he improve? I don't know. Sometimes winning a major contest tends to make some players believe they have reached their peak and they slack off on the study and practice. It happens in a lot of life's endeavors.
An Amati with great sound at least... please invest well as he has done with his hearing and hard work plus passionate learning....it will improve the value of the instrument with this level of playing daily... the real destiny of those violins ! not rich toys or investment items only...
