Callie Buruchara ( / callie-buruchara , teacher turned software engineer and communications mentor, was the guest speaker at the Coding with Callie meet-up on June 13 at 8PM EST.
She's found that her unconventional background in running international service projects + being a High School English teacher prepared her better than she thought for engineering. Outside of building with TypeScript and intense debugging, she enjoys enabling software engineers to thrive in and enjoy their careers by getting really good at working with other people. Whether they're career transitioners like her and interviewing for the first time, or they're on their second attempt to securing a Lead Engineer promotion, she gives practical and tailored advice to succeed.
