Beautiful, surreal and entertaining. It told a really interesting story and I’d love to hear what other people’s interpretation is. Having watched it a few times, my take is that Mr. Krabs committed a number of despicable acts in his life: war crimes, adulatory, possible child trafficking, murder the list goes on. Squidward reached a breaking point after the fishman we open on was going to hang himself in the Kristy Krab: an expression of his feelings of inadequacy, depression and desire to leave some impression on the society that had worn him down. His wife felt it too, her miserable job as a movie usher cleaning up after obnoxious rampaging fanboys consuming meaningless popular culture wore her down to the point of cheating on her husband in order to feel something. Both wanted to spare the other the bother of explaining how unhappy they were out of a sort of destructive curtesy; it’s really hard when there’s no particular problem you can point to, just a lot of small problems in your daily life that add up. When she sees him attempting to hang himself she’s clearly remorseful and Spongebob seems ready and willing to help them both. With the pizza order as their last job, Squidward murdered Mr. Krabs and burned down the restaurant to cover his tracks. Here’s where things get hard to follow: it seems like Squidward dies and goes to purgatory or goes completely insane, with Spongebob as his constant companion and generally serving to punish Squidward for having murdered Mr. Krabs. Whenever Squidward dies the day resets with them continuing the last pizza delivery. But even finishing the job doesn’t mean Squidward’s served his sentence. Mr. Krabs still haunts his mind and he feels compelled to finish an impossible task. He can’t escape the terrible thing he did. The punishment continues with him being butchered and served as food, only to wake up alive with a pizza to deliver. The last time we see him he’s chasing a vision of his young self, maybe in pursuit of lost youth, maybe to warn his younger self of the terrible future ahead. Meanwhile Sandy tries to investigate what’s going on and Patrick presumably ODs on sleeping pills, or staves to death without Spongebob or Squidward to wake him up. I don’t know what the monster who attacked Sandy is, but it presumably killed her and skinned her. Mr Krabs’ frozen body is eventually found in the abandoned car Squidward and Spongebob first set off in to deliver the pizza. And the final shot has Spongebob’s shadow on the door of the pizza customer’s house. Maybe after 5 years he finally finished the delivery?
I find what you described to be pretty spot on however when it comes to the monster I think their are three spongebob's. The one we see with squidward most of the time who torments' him the monster who I think was originally meant to be krabs's punishment but was brought into the physical world by orlock, and the actual spongebob who we see at the end. Both the one with squidward and the monster seem to be willing to work together as seen in the Diner vid. Going off of what Kingdom Hearts Fan2005 said the actual spongebob witnessed the murder of krabs and then helped to cover it up by burning down the restaurant only to eventually be discovered and brought in for questioning.
god this is just ART. The epilogue of the news reports, paramedics finding Patricks body, Patchy getting murdered and the rotting abandoned car set to The Times They Are A Changin' gave me chills
I'm not entirely sure what the plot is here, but it definitely exists, and ties _Skelington's Revenge_ for the title of "Best YTP of all time," while having the benefit of not being seasonal.
Something about the ending where Squidward chases his "childhood" into a dark abyss is oddly chilling. So many people wish they could relive a childhood of blissful ignorance & innocence. Squidward is that one character who everyone my age seems to relate most to every time we talk or think of Spongebob. He has dreams and ambitions, but is working a minimum-wage job he hates. There's a true sense of sadness when you consider Squidward's position in life. Its surreal how many of us can relate to him. So seeing him chase his childhood feels scarily familiar.
comedy is often just tragedy reframed, after all. we laugh at his situation in one context and cry bittersweet tears the next. best part? you could go right back to laughing, as cruel as it sounds. it can be alarmingly fluid how something shifts from tragic to hilarious then back again
The scene with sandy at 11:58 is genuinely the height of YTP horror. I could analyze how every element works, but that would take an essay. It’s just all so genuinely masterfully paced, soundtracked, and conceptually genius. The rapid shots as the spongedemon smashes sandy adds so much visual tension. It’s truly masterful.
There's a large amount of whiplash between stupid humor, very dark imagery and horror elements, but I think this only works because it's a UA-cam Poop; I don't think it would work in any other medium or style. I think this is the best UA-cam Poop I've ever seen. Very well done.

@@totallynoteverything1. Makes sense. Since when Sandy knocked on Patrick's rock, he was also dead with his alarm going off. Also I don't fully understand the whole thing with the demon SpongeBob. We saw it for a split second in the first Deliver Us when Nosferatu turned off the light in Mr. Krabs' office.
@@Haxxer82 it might PROBABLY relate to the fact that spongebob is slowly going insane with squidward by his side, willing to do whatever it takes to finish the delivery.
This is a masterpiece, the plot confusing, but the ending moving. Not to mention all the references, the wonderful music choice. It really feels like a proper ending to a ytp that lived up to its name, Deliver Us.
As they sing a requiem for the owner of the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs, we'll talk about how on the news today of how the employees were found missing, Mr. Krabs' daughter, Pearl Krabs, Spongomino, and Nosferatu are still in unknown condition. Mr. Krabs never decided his epitaph, yet to spite his greed, they wrote his epitaph as "money." Just to rub it in. As this is the 4th anniversary of the Krusty Krab's burning, we thought we'd reuse the story. As Mr. Krabs got a dark treatment. His coffin was sent down the river, full of his money. Then they threw a can of gasoline at the coffin as it floated away, then burned it. This is Bikini Bottom news, and the mystery of Spongebob Squarepants and Squidward Testi- wait, what's that? Oh, it's Squidward Tentacles. I apologize, we will cut this on it's non-live release. Pearl and Sandy are still mourning until this day, they didn't go on the news in fear, Patrick's dementia and amnesia killed him, and either way, he might've been too long gone to remember. This is easily one of the best YTP I have seen in a while, it’s surreal, disturbing, mysterious, and overall amazing. I really enjoy these types of videos where the plot may be confusing but also entertaining to the point where you just go back to it to unravel its mysteries. Anyways, here is my interpretation on what happened. Keep in mind that this is mainly how I see it and everyone is allowed to see it their own way. I’d like to start things off with one theory I have with the characters: I believe that Squidward and the weird Spongebob creature are the same person. Squidward is himself, but the Spongebob creature is some form of his psychotic side. The reason why it takes the form of Spongebob is because of some sort of hatred Squidward has against the real Spongebob for reasons I’ll try to explain later. It’s also worth mentioning that the Nosferatu guy is not only the link between Squidwards normal and psychotic state, but also takes the form of Spongebob (the one that tortures Squidward throughout the video). Now onto the plot; for starters, Spongebob and Squidward seemed to have been in a relationship with each other (seen in 9:41 where Squidward tries to get a piece of Spongebob’s ass, and 14:40 where Spongebob fucks Squidward), and Spongebob at one point was sent to war with Mr. Krabs and Sandy (seen at 3:41). Spongebob gets wounded and Mr. Krabs is obviously traumatized by the whole experience. Spongebob then decides to break up with Squidward which, accompanied by the death of his mother (possibly implied at 4:26) starts Squidward’s hatred towards him, and his eventual downward spiral. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs begins to deal in child trafficking and uses the Krusty Krab as a bit of a cover up (we see a shark girl get kidnapped at 16:16, and that same kid appears at 3:27). He also hires Squidward and Spongebob as restaurant workers, and Squidward’s hatred for Spongebob grows as he has to deal with his constant shinenegins. At one point, the chocolate guy (who seems to be some sort of detective) arrives at the Krusty Krab and places his order. He also starts questioning Mr. Krabs about possible child trafficking (seen at 3:51 where it samples a clip of Alex Jones “Pizzagate” conspiracy). Mr. Krabs then starts to show clear signs of nervousness and immediately changes the subject. The chocolate guy leaves just as the store is about to close, and Squidward starts to confront Mr. Krabs about his trafficking. Mr. Krabs then threatens Squidward not to tell anyone about it (implied at 4:00), and it is at that point that Squidward completely loses it.
Now feels like a good point to introduce the couple: they both feel very unhappy about their lives, with the husband having to deal with a boring job and the wife dealing with obnoxious fanboys at the movie theater. Earlier, the wife cheats on the husband with Mr. Krabs, the husband catches them, and just simply walks away. Later in the day, the husband stops by the Krusty Krab to hang himself, but the wife appears and shows some regret and sadness. The two have a moment as Spongebob watches them, either feeling sympathy for them, or being reminded of his past relationship with Squidward. Just then, Spongebob catches Squidward brutally murdering Mr. Krabs.
At this point it’s worth noting the scene at 5:31; we see the Nosferatu guy enter the office, and after seeing the aftermath of the grisly murder, he smiles and turns off the lights. This could represent the moment Squidward turns from his usual self to a psychopath, and the reason it metaphorically takes the form of Spongebob is because it represents something that Squidward hates. He turns into the monster he so desperately wants to avoid, releasing his fury across anyone that comes across his path. And the smile Nosferatu makes symbolizes the glee he has to see Squidward suffer. After the murder, Squidward stuffs Mr. Krab’s body in a car, sets the Krusty Krab on fire, and then forces Spongebob to be a sort of getaway driver. They drive off into the middle of nowhere, where the car with the corpse inside is disposed of (implied at 16:41), and Squidward attempts to kill Spongebob, but fails as Spongebob runs off. Squidward then goes back to Spongebob’s house to search for him, and in an act of insanity, starts wrecking the place (implied at 12:30). Meanwhile, Sandy believes that Spongebob is missing, and tries to get Patrick to help her, not realizing that Patrick had ODed. Sandy then goes searching through Spongebob’s house, and Squidward attacks her. She cries out Spongebob’s name in an act of desperation as she draws her final breath What’s also interesting with that scene, especially around the 13:18 mark is that it shows Squidward in his own house, which in a way can represent the contrast between his sane and insane parts of him. In his own house, Squidward is calm and somewhat comfortable with his surroundings, while in Spongebob’s house it shows the side of him that’s manic and wouldn’t hesitate on murdering someone. It’s also significant how at the 13:27 mark, we see the demon inside his house, showing how Squidward is slowly losing control of himself.
After Squidward murders Sandy, he runs off into the wilderness, alone with his thoughts. He develops situations for himself, like the pizza delivery, and also finds ways to torture and punish himself mentally, whether it be the Spongebob that constantly annoys him, the part where he imagines himself getting butchered, or the beginning where he performs in front of an audience who boo him onstage. Squidward then starts developing some suicidal thoughts (at 8:42 where he dies onstage and the audience cheers) and starts recalling what times were like before he turned (at 17:20 where he sees his younger self and chases after him, presumably trying to warn him about what’s to come). It’s at this point where Squidward either dies or lives the rest of his life in misery. The Krusty Krab fire is then reported and the chocolate guy from earlier is called in to find the missing owner/employees. Four years pass and Mr. Krabs' corpse is finally found frozen in the abandoned car. Meanwhile, Spongebob arrives at the chocolate guy’s house (seen at the final scene) and is then investigated (seen at the first scene). The police then show Spongebob the missing poster of Squidward and ask him if they’ve seen him, to which Spongebob replies “this guy’s not half bad looking for a maniac”. The officer ponders on this response and possibly comes to the realization that Squidward started the fire. The chocolate guy is then let off the case and seems pretty relieved by it (implied in 13:32 where he says “finally” as he’s about to put what could be a giant box of case files into a fire, signifying his ability to move on from the case). That’s pretty much how I interpret the plot of this video. Do any of you have your own interpretation of it? What do you think of how I perceived it? Did I miss anything? Let me know!
i think in the trash can, i think it says squidward is the murderer, after spongebob read that he maybe played along till cops came to interview him into asking if he recognizes some1
The fact that you can take fragments of fond childhood memories and recontextualize them in this like Lighthouse style cosmic horror hellscape is nothing short of amazing, and even then to add layers by combining and distorting other references within the same source material like the Evangelion reference or the one commercial with the dude trying to walk up on the girl. Like it’s fucking crazy dude you’re a different kind of artist.
ngl this man could probably make a living making his own horror films. judging from what comes after... yeah this was more than an indicator of what he was able to do
Yeah your stuff is incredible but I think this is the best YTP ever. You should get more ambitious and try to beat him. If anyone can do it it's you. Make a full movie length surreal YTP. Add lots of hidden detail, obscure the plot. Do that and you shall become the greatest Spongebob YTPer of all time.
wow. this is an insane, disturbing, enlightening, gorgeous work of art. as i’m getting ready to go to college i’ve been coming to grips with the fact that things from my childhood are ending one by one, and this is one of them. i can’t describe the impact you’ve left on my life. thank you for everything. always.
I'm in a similar state of mind. Fawful retiring is about as hard to take as the fact that I can't keep watching ytp forever, or do anything forever for that matter. I think it's the ending that brought all these thoughts up, never expected to see something so moving as that from a spongebob ytp.
I feel you brother. Everything we've grown up with is ending... This may as well be the the end of UA-cam Poop as a genre. One last work of art from the master.
The audience cheering in the theater while watching superhero movies intercut with jellyfish being used up and discarded in a factory set to "your sons and your daughters are beyond your command" That's some potent symbolism right there.
It's about the oversaturation of superhero movies that frequently repeat the same characters, plots, and stories for the sake of consumerism. The reason this keeps happening is because people will still pay for, consume, and get excited for more products simply to consume.
Jesus, that final song... just hit hard. Things happen, and nothing can stop that. Times will change, and nothing can stop that. And here we are, in life, watching the world change into a chaotic state beyond parody as issues and warfare surface. It's all ambiguous, and yet all beautiful.

@@anisomniac5931 I wasn’t asking for a reupload of the first on, I was asking if we would get a release of the edit made of the ending song as a video or mp3 file.
I said on the original Deliver Us that it was the most avant-garde YTP I had ever seen and that still stands. However, I never thought it would be possible to push the envelope further by making the sequel be a Synder Cut remix of the original that ties together the alternate realities of the Pizza Delivery... and then the aftermath of what follows. What an amazing ride.
“Times, they are a changing.” There was some kind of timeline anomaly, allowing Spongebob and Squidward to save the cuck-fish and kill Mr. Krabs before the curse could be placed on the Krusty Krab.
This is probably my favorite interpretation, the cuck fish's death set off a chain of events culminating in a sort of shared cosmic misery that took shape as the Spongebane, and once squidward realizes his sins and gets back to spongebob they're able to stop the curse, which causes the spongebane to claim a final victim and abandon his twisted quest of punishment. He is a creature born of hatred in the acts that spongebob and squirdward committed and once the anomaly is fixed all thats left is the death of krabs and a community moving on from a tragedy. Spongebob can't go back from being the spongebane and squidward can't reclaim the innocence he lost but they both continue moving forward

One year has passed and this is still a masterpiece and a landmark achievement in UA-cam Poop. Everything still hits the mark, from the absurd humor to the edgy humor to the bleak story that’s more enthralling than it has any right to be. It’s been a long and oversaturated road from the early days of Spinge, but this work of art is living proof that the genre really can still deliver. Now that all that pretentious shit is out of the way, happy first birthday to this video. A perfect close to the saga indeed.
This is honestly more of an avant-grade short film than a YTP. Thank you so much for all of the insanely creative videos you’ve offered over the years.
So I’m guessing the ending means Squidward and Spongebob are in a never ending hell of reliving their last moments before dying after delivering a pizza but dying in the middle of nowhere (that’s why everything is so demented and crazy), now they are in hell tormented by the dead Mr. Krabs. In the real world they’re reported as missing/dead, Patrick kills himself, the Krusty Krab is demolished, and a demon taking the form of spongebob (or maybe spongebob is still alive and is a demon/serial killer) is out killing all of spongebob’s friends who are still alive like Sandy. Well at least they still prevented that guy killing himself. And even if that’s not the plot this was still a beautiful YTP, thank you for making these throughout the years, I’ve been watching your YTP’s since I was 7 and I’ve loved all of them, in fact you’ve inspired a lot of my sense of humor, thank you for all the laughs, wherever your heading next I wish you luck, we’ll miss you, goodbye AWFUL FAWFUL. Edit: Actually I think I understand it better: Krabs does that guys wife, Squidward finds this out and kills Krabs, Spongebob decides to help, they then both deliver the pizza the customer ordered, they both go home but when they go home Spongebob begins to loose his mind and find that he likes killing, Sponge then goes into hiding, everyone thinks he’s missing so Patrick kills himself, Sandy tries to go into his home to find him but Spongebob looses it and kills Sandy he then skins her, Squidward tries going on with his life and is haunted by Mr. Krabs’s corpse, Squidward becomes a musician and tries to preform, the people either find out about what Squidward did or just hate him a lot eventually someone (probably Spongebob) shoots him, eventually they find Krabs’s frozen corpse and Patrick’s corpse, The Krusty Krab closes and life goes on, Spongebob keeps killing people and is in hiding, leading to people thinking he’s missing, eventually the cops find him and interrogate him on the strange killer that looks like him, and Squidward is in hell with a fake spongebob, Despite all of this though life goes on. (I’m not deleting the previous part because that’s still possible that it’s that but I’m not 100% sure) Edit edit: okay so Spongebob is in cahoots with the demon, Spongebob either died (by killing himself with the shotgun) and can switch between being in Hell and Bikini Bottom or he didn’t die and can just go to Squidward’s Hell to torture him. He met the demon after he started to get a blood lust and they work together along with Nosferatu to kill people. The beginning shows Spongebob being enterogated by the police about the killings and they show him a picture of the demon.
That and it can be assumed that squid killed krabs for fucking that one dudes wife, sponge went to go stop him from self deletion and squid finally got tired of krabs shit and murdered him. Subsequently, the events of the pizza delivery are they trying to escape their crimes, or at least squid trying to escape his. There is a got of symbology of squid being tormented and trying to reclaim what he was, but ultimately suffering for his misdeeds. I can assume the demon sponge is just a juxtaposition of the actual sponge being a darker more vile man, perhaps still alive but not a thing covering up for the murders that squid committed? Who knows,
Squidward delivering the pizza definitely feels like purgatory to me. I really like the interpretation of Mr. Krabs tormenting him in the afterlife, and when he sends them to deliver the pizza he's sending them on a miserable journey with no end. Interesting how Spongebob declares "we're saved" when he notices the bus, but instead of riding it, they walk alongside the road being gawked at by the passengers. And even though they eventually deliver the pizza, Spongebob winds up back at the door of the house in the final scene. A really fun narrative to try to pick apart and interpret.
The demented killer sponge is not Spongebob. This is show in Diners Die or whatever it’s called. It’s another video on the channel that teased this one. But it seems Spongebob and the demon sponge are still in cahoots. As for what their motives are, I have no idea.
@@andrewcruz7595By the first time around, he probably was. Mr Krabs in this part dies very soon, while in part 1 he's alive until Spongebob and Squidwatd leave the Krusty Krab My theory is that they fixed it somehow
This is honestly way more bittersweet than it has any right to be. Thanks for all of the incredible YTPs over the years, and I wish you well with whatever you do. Thank you.
After watching the video and seeing many interpretations in the comments, here’s what I think the story is. First off, I think Mr. Chocolate Guy (yes, that’s what Tom is called in this universe, the Christmas Special says so) is some sort of omnipotent god, as he’s seen breaking the fourth wall by watching Fawful’s poops in both The Secret Entrance and the Christmas Special. The one thing with him though is that he doesn’t exist while lights are turned on. His main goal seems to be searching for the “Stupid Idiot Box”, which is apparently In Squidward’s living room. Second off, I don’t think the scenes with Squidward in the Krusty Krab Talent Show are meant to be taken literally. I think they’re more symbolic, with one thing being how people are picky about ytps. When Squidward plays his clarinet, it makes a sound that while not exact, is quite similar to the sound Mr. Chocolate Guy makes when he orders his pizza. I think everyone throwing tomatoes at Squidward right after is a commentary on how a ytp could have one bad joke that makes everyone angry. Also, the fact that the stage backdrop is only seen before episode 1 and after episode 1 but before episode 2, I think it’s also possibly symbolic of episode 1 being a play that everyone did, as note how this is the only time Patrick is seen alive outside of The Secret Entrance. Again, I don’t think this is lore important and more of a reference to how episode 1 is a reupload. I think that’s what the message is, anyways. Third off, the use of Times Are a-Changing is obviously not only a reference to all the changes in the Spongebob universe, but also this being Fawful’s final ytp. As for the bulk of the series, here’s what I think happened. Mr. Krabs is a bad person, though he probably realizes this due to putting up a help wanted sign. Possibly due to the war he had fought in, Mr. Krabs is generally a bad person. He’s racist since he doesn’t serve black people and even when he forgets that, he jumps at the chance to kick all black people out. He also kills Squidward’s mom and makes her into a pizza. But the worst of all, he slept with Nancy Susie Fish who was cheating on her husband. She had a stressful life spending her time cleaning up the movie theatre after geeks watch movies, such as an actually good Mermaid Man Movie. As such, she wanted to at least feel something, hence why she cheated on her husband, Billy Frankie (that’s what his name probably is, anyways. The show is very inconsistent with the names of background characters). He himself generally had a dull life at his office job and is possibly suffering from depression due to a bad upbringing, implied through him looking into the glass and seeing himself as a child with his parents. Unclear what exactly they did. Him seeing his wife cheat on him was the final straw. After Mr. Chocolate Guy orders his pizza and Mr. Krabs puts up the help wanted sign, Frankie goes in and attempts to commit suicide. Nancy, whether by coincidence or following him, sees and is clearly remorseful for her bad actions. Spongebob also seems to feel bad for both of them. It’s unclear what they do next, but we can infer that Frankie at least didn’t die since he sends her a postcard in the Christmas Special. Mr. Krabs driving a man to suicide was the last draw for Squidward so he kills Mr. Krabs, ripping his eyes off, though he reattaches them right after, possibly in a panic. Spongebob sees and knows he has to do something. Squidward tries to convince Spongebob it isn’t a bad thing he killed him by saying “Is that Mr. Krabs? Sure looks good.” Spongebob, although putting on a convincing act, still thinks Squidward is in the wrong. Spongebob takes Mr. Krabs’ corpse and puts it in a bag before throwing it into the dumpster, which is shown to be the case in Diner, Drive-In, and Die. Spongebob then makes some graffiti on the dumpster. Although we don’t get to see the entire thing, I think it says “Squidward is the murderer”. At around this point, Spongebob and Squidward are both taken into purgatory, where Spongebob is Squidward’s tormentor. They are stuck in an endless loop of delivering the pizza to Mr. Chocolate Guy. Every night, the day repeats itself, though each day seems to be its own timeline. As such, their car is left abandoned in the middle of nowhere after it takes off on its own, plants growing inside. That night, Spongebob burns down the Krusty Krab to make sure the bad memories are forgotten. We know it was Spongebob since he’s briefly seen in the Krusty Krab as it’s on fire in the Christmas Special, and it couldn’t have been the previous night they set off on the boat because the building isn’t on fire then. Also note everyone seeing the fire at the beginning of the Christmas Special happens at night. Due to Spongebob being inside, he likely dies, though that doesn’t get rid of him being Squidward’s tormentor. Now, characters that I’ve been ignoring but getting to now are Nosferatu and Demon Sponge. They murder just for fun. They go to the Krusty Krab to murder Mr. Krabs, only to see Squidward had already done it. Since Spongebob wasn’t home that night, they take over his house and possibly kill Gary. They then kill Sandy when she comes looking for Spongebob. They seem to have skinned her alive, guessing by how she’s just a fursuit when her empty body exits the house later on. It seems these two killers had some sort of influence on Spongebob himself, since at some point, they work in cahoots to kill Health Inspector Yellowtail Andy. They choke him to death, before Demon Sponge drops a boat on him at the end of Deliver Us 2. As for Frankie briefly being seen in the background and as a maniac on a poster, these could possibly just be hallucinations since he was tied to the reason they were in purgatory, but although I’m not entirely sure, there could be some more to Frankie we don’t know since in the Christmas Special, his dead corpse dresses up as Patrick and kills Mr. Krabs with the help of Spongebob. This obviously isn’t meant to be taken literally since not only is it just a random poop on a tape, but also directly contradicts Squidward killing Mr. Krabs. TLDR; there’s more to Frankie’s relevance, but I’m not sure what it is. Leave ideas in the replies. Now, some time after Spongebob and Squidward are sent back to the previous day, Mr. Krabs’ corpse is found by Mrs. Puff, frozen in a car. It’s unclear why he’s here, so that’s another mystery you guys need to help me solve. With that, The burnt down Krusty Krab is now an empty lot, soon to become a new location of the Barg-n-Mart, which has been expanding a lot in Bikini Bottom. Mr. Krabs is reported dead while Spongebob and Squidward are reported as missing. Pearl mourns her dad’s death. Patrick, who had overdosed on drugs and died, is found and taken to a hospital. It’s unknown if he survived or not. Spongebob and Squidward’s houses are put up for sale. The Penultimate shot with Squidward on a stage before chasing a little doll of himself into the darkness is very vague. It could just be the usual Fawful weird ytp stuff that doesn’t mean anything, but since this is in the middle of an emotional montage, this seems to have some sort of meaning. Squidward chasing Little Squidward is possibly him wanting things to go back to the way they always were, with the status quo. Before you mention it, I know this interpretation didn’t address the beginning scene with the police interrogating Spongebob because, well, I’m not entirely sure when that takes place or what it means. Now, the final shot of the series is Spongebob walking up to Mr. Chocolate Guy’s door. This is showing another loop, and being symbolic for the future of ytps. Spongebob is the next big ytper, the pizza is a ytp, and the house is UA-cam. Fawful is ready to pass the torch to the next generation after an amazing decade of ytps. Thank you, Fawful, and I hope you read this interpretation.
@@KingdomHeartsFan-mu9cf the most ironic thing about this whole poop and all the theories surrounding them is when you said squidward "wanted to return to the status quo", I then realized something. The status quo for squidward or "squishward/skodwarde" in this universe is that in fawful's whole spibgebill career, sauidward was always the one dying over and over and over again. The final poop in fawful's career is mostly centered around squishward changing the status quo and killing mr krabs thus putting on the other side of the usual dynamic for once and thus also making him the most punished character of the entire lore/series trapping him in purgatory/hell
I think the interrogation scene takes place after the death of mr krabs. Spongebob refers to the man on the poster as a maniac, and in Diners, Drive in and Die, there is a poster of frankie, who is labeled as a maniac. I believe the poster the police showed sponge bob and the poster at the end of Diners, Drive in and Die are the same. We know Diners, Drive in and Die takes place after squidward’s death due to squidward being stuck in purgatory being shown early in the video. Assuming the spongebob in the interrogation isn’t purgatory spongebob who has sent himself to the real world (we know he can do this because of Drivers, Dine in and Die), this would mean that spongebob would have lived the fire. This isn’t too implausible, though, and it would explain how sponge bob delivers the pizza at the end of the video.
Fawful did a lot of work to make sure that the audience could relate to the characters. Two of the big themes are death and judgement. Squidward dies several times but always comes back for more until the scene you mentioned where he chases the child doll of himself. I think that's meant to be Squidward embracing death. Frankie sees himself as a child with his parents before he tries to kill himself. A sort of reversal of Squidward's arc. I'd like to think that Frankie and Susie are, as a larger part of the plot, meant to be the audience. Frankie and Susie live very human mundane lives. They sort of live in their own purgatory loop with their jobs and adult lives. Maybe the jail scene in the beginning is just to establish a mood and tone if you haven't seen the related works? Sort of gets the train rolling. I like to think Nosferatu was the drive to hurt/kill visually represented. No one seems to notice Nosferatu or interact with him except Demon Sponge. Demon Sponge is like the impulse that was never allowed to act out. Chocolate Guy is defs a god tho.
this. the moments of bizarre spontaneity followed by the moments of pure horror. there is something about the back and forth switches between humorous serenity of youtube poops, bizarre moments characteristic of the original spongebob tv show, and the sinister and haunting themes of dark interpretations of characters and plot. it all comes together in the perfect amalgamation of this surreal adaptation of a nostalgic tv series, carefully chosen eeriness, and goofily but meaningfully edited clips that is this youtube poop.
The ending song and animation is truly surreal. It makes me feel like I'm watching the epic conclusion to a TV series. There really is nothing else like it.
I couldn't bring myself to put my hand back on my mouse after the video was over. Because I knew if I did that it would all truly be over. Thank you for all the videos you made over the years. You may not know or believe it, but your work has influenced more than you can imagine. You have an uncanny ability for creativity. I'll assume that'll help you on the journey of life going forward. Sayonara.
I'm goin 2 miss you, you were tha realest person in the whole human ytp game and I'll thank you 4 dat. I wish nothing but tha best luck for your future.
Fucking masterpiece. Reading the comments to also see how everyone else interpreted the story was phenomenal. The editing was surreal and there is definitely a story for each individual character. The soundtrack was great, editing gave it charm, the chaotic emotional rollercoaster ride was just rad. I'm at a loss of words of how amazing this was. I wish there were more to see.
I absolutely adore this. Definitely going to have to re-watch this a couple times; there's so much going on and I know my pea brain didn't pick everything up. The small changes made in part one really help tie it together with the second half, making it just that much more polished. This probably doesn't mean much, coming from a random person on the internet, but these videos were such a big part of my life these past few years, and I cannot thank you enough for all the memories you've given me and my friends. We couldn't have asked for a better ending than this.
This is only the third piece of media that's ever made me cry (the first 2 were both Radiohead albums). From 15:25 to the end, I genuinely started sobbing. The lyrics of a song talking about how time will leave you behind whether you like it or not, combined with the themes of losing time, innocence & life, never getting any of them them back, the feeling of not making progress while you see other people happy over things that are so superficial; it perfectly described what I often feel like inside. Well done to you, Awful Fawful.
This is my take on some of the things in this art work and the overall plot. (This is a more realistic version that entirely takes place in that word and doesn’t involve hell or any demons). Mr Krabs fought in either Vietnam or a war in the kelp forest. In either case he committed multiple war crimes and helped in atrocities committed by the military. He still tries to live in denial decades afterwards. Now to the actual story: SpongeBob and squidward go to deliver the pizza and around the same time Patrick has died from a opioid overdose. No one will find out about this until weeks later. They both get lost and lose the car in the middle of nowhere. For multiple days they suffer from dehydration, delirium and eventually get so hungry and insane that squidward tries to eat SpongeBob. When they are rescued by the bus they still take it to the customer’s neighborhood to deliver it. He takes it out of kindness knowing it’s been 3-4 days because he can see how fucked up they look. He takes it and pays. However now that the delivery is over SpongeBob and squidward both suffer in different ways. SpongeBob, who has been mistreated by mr krabs for years has kept a smile and worked so hard in the hopes of finally being treated like a human being by mr krabs. All of this and the trauma from the delivery incident pushes him over the edge and he destroyed his house, kills sandy when she tries to help him and pushed the delivery car off a cliff to symbolically destroy anything that represents the delivery. He later snaps out of this and hides the body until later. Squidward on the other hand is able to keep himself non violent for longer. He tries to put his foot down and not go to the krusty krab but mr krabs keeps calling him telling him to get back to work. This is represented in a mirror. He eventually goes back around 2-3 weeks later along with SpongeBob who has calmed down since his outburst. However on this day squidward snaps and kills mr krabs. SpongeBob witnesses this and doesn’t say anything. Later squidward hides the corpse in mrs puffs car. Later he burns down the Krusty Krab and is wanted by the police. SpongeBob on the other hand goes home and wears Sandy’s skin to put her somewhere where her body isn’t found. Later on the police out SpongeBob in custody for questioning. They ask if he’s seen squidward showing a photo. He gives a vague response however he is eventually found and isn’t put in jail due to insanity. He is put in a phyce ward and suffers from hallucinations of redoing the delivery, chasing his younger self to save him from the torture and being humiliated and ridiculed for his talent. SpongeBob somehow covers his tracks and avoids any suspicion of Sandy’s murder. He tries to atone for his sins by helping a couple who has been broken by being so empty in the inside that that one resorted to cheating just to feel something. Eventually 4 years after the rest of the story takes place the city is in some form of economic stagnation of decline and many people are stuck in depressing dead end jobs. SpongeBob most likely in some attempt to try and live with his sins and trauma and to fix one more thing goes back to the house of the man he gave a pizza to 4 years earlier to finally finish the delivery the way it should have gone. I did leave some stuff out and I couldn’t really find a good spot for the couple subplot so my bad if it feels out of place
You were, are and forever will be a true artist in my eyes. You elevated YTP to something beautiful. There just isn't the words for it, thank you sincerely, for everything.
Fawful I just wanna say, thank you. If this really is your last YTP thank you for the hours of entertainment you’ve provided. I can’t even begin to breakdown the wonderful memories of showing all your videos to my friends. Nobody made YTPs quite like you did.
Hey brother, you don't know me, but now that it’s over I want tell you this: You have had such an influence on my childhood that I feel the need to thank you. I would have never gotten into YTP without you, and YTP lead me into my first job, my relationship, and a potent form of healthy coping for my abusive situation at home and school. Before I watched Awful Fawful YTPs I saw YTP as some goofy video format; You turned that assumption on its head for me. Your videos displayed a wider range of genres and even emotion as opposed to simply humor. Y I can for certain say that what you’ve made is art, not simply a comedic internet video. You’ve gotten me through rough times and have inspired me to create since 2015, and while you’re not the only one who I can name as an inspiration, you’re the biggest and the one that I always came back to when I needed motivation or simply just to watch my favorites all over again. Thank you, Fawful.
Man, what a legacy. I’ve been blessed to be able to witness the progression of this story, Deliver Us was my favorite YTP ever and this goes a step beyond even that. Farewell Fawful, thanks for the memories.
Thanks for all the memories man, I hope your art career takes you far from here going forward. You're easily one of the greatest figures ytp has ever seen, commercially and artistically. I'm sorry you lived long enough to feel the icy merciless hand of Susan's modern YT agenda, but I'm glad you've lived long enough to give us one last hoorah when you didn't have to. You may be hated by the system but you'll never be forgotten, you are excused for the rest of your life.
This is a gorgeous, harrowing piece of work. I've never seen any other artwork that so movingly represents the loss of an environment that once was, and the struggle of feeling like you've been abandoned in a hopeless position. I hope you're doing well wherever you are and are continuing to make art.
Being one of the first 10 viewers, I was delightfully astounded throughout the story all told in monochromatic eyes. You sure brought the final bang into existence.
Definitely on the Mt. Rushmore of YTPs and in a league of their own in surrealist ones. Thanks for everything, I know you're onto bigger and better things.
This is the "endtroducing..." of YTPs never have I been moved by original content on this platform like this, and that goes for every format of video thanks you
8:12 idk why but something about this part is just so fucking funny to me. Like, the way he delivers the lines, the way that he looks at Spongebob as he says it, the fact that out of all the things he could've chose to call Spongebob, he called him "gay". Its just comedy gold
I'm not kidding when I say this is the best YTP I've ever seen. Heck, it might just be the best UA-cam video I've seen! This transcends the realm of a simple UA-cam Poop, & crosses over into being actual art. Thank you Awful Fawful for this masterpiece!
One last time- he gives us a twisted finale. Thank you. Even though I haven’t been here since the beginning I know the impact you make. And how different it would’ve been without you. Thank you. For being an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for *delivering us*
As is inevitable, what I take away from the ending montage will be refracted through my own experiences, but I've always been moved by it, ever since this video came out, and I feel it touches on many of the most disturbing and underrepresented trends in the world today. The cheating wife fish walking through the streets, getting checked out by the dude fish, who is then harshly stopped by the other male fish; women are preyed upon in an oversexualized culture, but contradictorily, men are forced to repress their natural urges. Everyone on the street rushes to punish the offending fish, leaving the one child alone. Repressed urges then come out in horribly sinister ways as the child is kidnapped for what we are to assume, as we recall the joke from earlier in the video with the same young girl fish in the bathroom, depraved sexual purposes. The elderly in society (Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy), seem oblivious to widescale degradation, distracted by memories and media of and from their past. Meanwhile, the younger generations are even happier to indulge in mind-numbing "milked" franchises over and over in theaters and elsewhere, becoming drones who consume the next product thoughtlessly, of which the wife fish takes note. This takes on a meta sensibility with Awful Fawful's channel being discontinued, and we see that when any creator tries to escape the interminable content production line, the result might be the suicide of a person (Patchy) who has nothing to live for but his favorite franchise, characters, or UA-cam channel. Spongebob and Squidward suggest that, in a crazy clown world, there will be those who snap and resort to violence, for reasons nobody can fully understand. And at that point, even acknowledgement of all this turmoil will still, in a fucked up way, serve the continued function of the machine, as Spongebob, Squidward, and Patrick put on yet another piece of stage entertainment in which the subject matter is the disturbing "inner workings" of ourselves. They peel away an outer layer of disturbing art, humanity's artistic creations, to see the things inside our bodies that propel us to create such things: video games, screens, more vaguely sexual and vaguely gore-y imagery. There's still applause for this exhibition. But behind that, the true center that many won't acknowledge or understand -- trapped, suffocated, forgotten innocence from childhood that can never be recaptured. It's unfortunately rare for a work of art of any kind to speak to me as profoundly as this, and this was done with stupid Spongebob footage. That's probably WHY it speaks to me so deeply. Great music choice too. The original song is, if anything, a positive assertion that society is changing, but the melancholic choral cover of the song that's used here turns that on its head and gets across the sadness and disturbance of the phenomenon.
Fawful I don't even know where or how to begin. You were honestly a big and important part of my childhood. I remember watching your videos on my mom's old computer back in 2012, only watching the Christmas specials during Christmas time as a tradition like any other special. Then I introduced you to my friends in highschool and got them hooked on YTP. And here I am now 21 with my first job hoping you'll Deliver Us that magic one last time and it was better than I could've ever expected. I look back on those times fondly and hope that you will live a long, happy, and successful future. I mean this from the bottom of my heart when I say thank you for everything. I know there must be a deeper meaning in this video but us mortal beings aren't able to understand so we will be analysising this art house film tier Poop for years to come. I'm seriously going to miss you and your trademark Fawful sense of humor. You've perfected the craft of the UA-cam Poop and your work truly is an art form. Thank you.
We gotta get this to the top
Actually, I think Spongebob might’ve burned the Krusty Krab down since he’s seen in the building as it’s on fire, laughing, in the Christmas Special.
I think Nosferatu and the domo-spongebob hybrid are supposed to be what squidward and spongebob become however in probably wrong.
This comment is pinned, so ithink you might have the closest if not correct theory

It's Art
it is a story. a very difficult one to be fair. but once you pick it apart it makes sense.
That scene of patrick dead in his bed with the alarm still blaring and flies spinning around him is genuinely disturbing
Gives me Hereditary vibes tbh
Thae fact he been consitantly dead
The one we’re mr krabs is dead and his tongue is eaten is more disturbing
R.I.P Patrick.
Oh boy, 3 AM!
god this is just ART.
It was perfect
Something about the ending where Squidward chases his "childhood" into a dark abyss is oddly chilling. So many people wish they could relive a childhood of blissful ignorance & innocence. Squidward is that one character who everyone my age seems to relate most to every time we talk or think of Spongebob. He has dreams and ambitions, but is working a minimum-wage job he hates. There's a true sense of sadness when you consider Squidward's position in life. Its surreal how many of us can relate to him. So seeing him chase his childhood feels scarily familiar.
Cuck wages really be romantizing the past lol

The scene with sandy at 11:58 is genuinely the height of YTP horror. I could analyze how every element works, but that would take an essay. It’s just all so genuinely masterfully paced, soundtracked, and conceptually genius. The rapid shots as the spongedemon smashes sandy adds so much visual tension. It’s truly masterful.

@@Haxxer82 it might PROBABLY relate to the fact that spongebob is slowly going insane with squidward by his side, willing to do whatever it takes to finish the delivery.
The air bubble popping was beautiful.
Mr. Krabs never decided his epitaph, yet to spite his greed, they wrote his epitaph as "money."
Just to rub it in.

She cries out Spongebob’s name in an act of desperation as she draws her final breath
What’s also interesting with that scene, especially around the 13:18 mark is that it shows Squidward in his own house, which in a way can represent the contrast between his sane and insane parts of him.
The chocolate guy is then let off the case and seems pretty relieved by it (implied in 13:32 where he says “finally” as he’s about to put what could be a giant box of case files into a fire, signifying his ability to move on from the case).

cuck fish
*Cuttlefish
@@ammagon4519 adversary

Why is that?
I couldn’t think of a better ending to a saga like this
So I’m guessing the ending means Squidward and Spongebob are in a never ending hell of reliving their last moments before dying after delivering a pizza but dying in the middle of nowhere (that’s why everything is so demented and crazy), now they are in hell tormented by the dead Mr.
(I’m not deleting the previous part because that’s still possible that it’s that but I’m not 100% sure)
Edit edit: okay so Spongebob is in cahoots with the demon, Spongebob either died (by killing himself with the shotgun) and can switch between being in Hell and Bikini Bottom or he didn’t die and can just go to Squidward’s Hell to torture him.
I think Spongebob is torturing him actually
The demented killer sponge is not Spongebob. This is show in Diners Die or whatever it’s called. It’s another video on the channel that teased this one. But it seems Spongebob and the demon sponge are still in cahoots. As for what their motives are, I have no idea.

Bravo. If any YTP is art, this is.
Every theory is right but that's pretty darn good
@@KingdomHeartsFan-mu9cf the most ironic thing about this whole poop and all the theories surrounding them is when you said squidward "wanted to return to the status quo", I then realized something.

Mr Krabs fought in either Vietnam or a war in the kelp forest. In either case he committed multiple war crimes and helped in atrocities committed by the military. He still tries to live in denial decades afterwards.
Now to the actual story:
SpongeBob and squidward go to deliver the pizza and around the same time Patrick has died from a opioid overdose.
I can for certain say that what you’ve made is art, not simply a comedic internet video. You’ve gotten me through rough times and have inspired me to create since 2015, and while you’re not the only one who I can name as an inspiration, you’re the biggest and the one that I always came back to when I needed motivation or simply just to watch my favorites all over again. Thank you, Fawful.
That end really felt like THE end. Wonderful. Can't believe I missed this for so long.
You are one of the last remaining YTP masters that turned this genre from nonsensical shitposting to literal forms of art. Thank you for your efforts.
It's wild that a ytp can make you feel such a range of emotions
This is a gorgeous, harrowing piece of work. I've never seen any other artwork that so movingly represents the loss of an environment that once was, and the struggle of feeling like you've been abandoned in a hopeless position. I hope you're doing well wherever you are and are continuing to make art.
Hands down the greatest UA-cam poop of all time
Being one of the first 10 viewers, I was delightfully astounded throughout the story all told in monochromatic eyes. You sure brought the final bang into existence.
Definitely on the Mt. Rushmore of YTPs and in a league of their own in surrealist ones. Thanks for everything, I know you're onto bigger and better things.
This is the "endtroducing..." of YTPs
never have I been moved by original content on this platform like this, and that goes for every format of video
thanks you
Cool fact: at 0:54, squidward starts to play and continuous D note, and after the tomato was thrown at him, he played an F note.
8:12 idk why but something about this part is just so fucking funny to me. Like, the way he delivers the lines, the way that he looks at Spongebob as he says it, the fact that out of all the things he could've chose to call Spongebob, he called him "gay". Its just comedy gold
The times are indeed changing. Farewell, Fawful.
Fawful, you were my teenage angst, and like a certain Grinch who had downs, you have returned as our savior. Thank you.
This is one of the most incredible things I've watched on this site. Well done, and have a great life.
I'm not kidding when I say this is the best YTP I've ever seen. Heck, it might just be the best UA-cam video I've seen! This transcends the realm of a simple UA-cam Poop, & crosses over into being actual art. Thank you Awful Fawful for this masterpiece!
9:22 such seamless transition, bridging the two episodes that are separated by years.
Everyone download a copy so this will be preserved!
I already have
Same here!
Wish I could
Absolute masterpiece, thank you for all the laughs over the years.
One last time- he gives us a twisted finale.
Thank you. Even though I haven’t been here since the beginning I know the impact you make. And how different it would’ve been without you.
Thank you. For being an inspiration to all of us.
Thank you for
*delivering us*
As is inevitable, what I take away from the ending montage will be refracted through my own experiences, but I've always been moved by it, ever since this video came out, and I feel it touches on many of the most disturbing and underrepresented trends in the world today.
Bro this is an amazing analysis, God bless your comment
This is RIDICULOUSY well done. The Cuts, the Animation, BLOODY EVERYTHING!
This was way more beautiful than I was anticipating, and my expectations were already high.
Thank you.
An OG I see
