In this video, I start by making a very difficult announcement concerning the future of Haunt on the Hill, and this channel. Pat also shares his point of view. Don't worry, I'm not done with UA-cam just yet. As one door closes, another opens...
I also unbox a recent purchase from Jim Brown's, Eville J's Creepy Closet. It was a custom order from back in October that just arrived! You know I love my props, I feature my Distortions Unlimited, Transworld 2014 & 2016 purchases of Raging Ryan & Menacing Marsha props. They are celebrating the Holidays in their new Christmas pajamas. The tree is up, so I also show off my small collection of Horrornaments. Hope you enjoy!

I live in Manchester Michigan. The weather was so terrible some of my props got ruined. I totally agree with what you are saying. Every year you want to add something new, but it gets to the point where it's so big, it's overwhelming. Just know you have been my Halloween inspiration. Thank you so much for the years of sharing. It was very much appreciated.

You have been one of my favorite channels to watch! And your announcement is a reality check for me as well but I just can't turn off the brain from thinking of new ideas. Great video and a heartfelt departure from your awesome haunt. You made a decision that was no doubt difficult, but one we'll all face sooner or later. The visitors to our haunts love what we do but most truly don't appreciate the behind the scenes effort, nor the work involved setting up and tearing down, not to mention the wear and tear on props, property and even the toll haunting on this level takes on you as an individual. As you perfectly quoted, don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it happened! Looking forward to your etsy shop and wishing you the very best as you shift gears and move forward with your love of Halloween! You guys rock!

Cathy, I'm so grateful to have experienced your haunt for every year but this one!!! You and Pat sure have a lot to be proud of! A lot of wonderful memories for yourselves, and also many others. I know very well how hard it can be to run a haunt of a larger scale. When I took a step back it gave me time to truly enjoy the season that I loved. A new stress free excitement, and the ability to also experience a different side of the season, seeing others haunts. This past September/October every time we had the most miserable weather I really felt for you and also Linda, and Jason, knowing how much of your hearts and souls you all put into the haunts only to have mother nature be the final determination on how the haunt season plays out. The north isn't the best place for a haunt that is for sure! My hope is you can now find the time to enjoy some new Halloween experiences, and make many more Halloween memories. Take a road trip checking out haunts, so much fun!! You can still go to transworld, or Mhc, or any Halloween gathering you want for that matter!! Halloween is always in our hearts, that will never change. I look forward to seeing your creations in your etsy shop, I know you will be busy over the winter!! Thank you and Pat for the wonderful memories that you have given my family and I, and also for being the best friends a person could ask for. Haunt on the Hill was a good thing while it lasted, and I’m glad we ended on a high note. Sorry you weren’t able to visit us this year, I missed seeing you and showing you what’s new. You’ve been such a great Haunter friend, Thank you for your support, encouragement and friendship. And without, I would have ever made plans for our first trip to TW. Since then I’ve been there, 4 times! I plan to attend MHC this year!! So yes, lots to look forward to!

Very hard decision. I understand, but I am glad about your Etsy shop and that you will be making some props and videos! You are leaving with a bang too, this was your best year yet and alot of great artists (and shows...Seinfeld comes to mind) leave before it all goes "down the hill"! .....Thanks for all your inspiration and creativity
Yes, I agree, I wanted to leave on a high note. It was only a matter of time before it got old for our visitors.
