Okay, I am part of a 12 step recovery program, and you are not to ask for forgiveness in making an amends. You are supposed to say you are sorry for the harmed you caused, state what action you did to harmed that person. Once, you have made that amends, you then have to make restitution whether monetary or something else. You are also supposed to ask to speak to the harmed person privately, and NEVER ask for anything in return. We are told to accept if a person doesn't want to talk to us or want a relationship, because it's their right to do so. If this woman has a sponsor, I hope they are calling her out on the actions she is taking, and to stop using social media and the press to get her daughter's attention.
Why would she speak about this in the media? It’s selfish , and she’s not considering how this will impact Simone . By her going to the media, Simone probably feels she won’t ever be able to trust her biological mother. She has Simone’s phone number , but will not reach out? That’s not a child’s responsibility. Rehab teaches you to reach out to those you have harmed to make amends . This woman is after money , and attention . I hope Simone does everything she can to keep her peace; even if that means not being in contact with her biological mother.

We all know TDMail pays for stories but you have to tell them in a certain way lie. I am adopted. Making contact with a biological mother is a highly personal matter. It also can stir up a lot of complex emotions. Simone seems to be a highly intelligent and emotionally intelligent young woman. I’m sure that she will make contact if she wants to. I wish her well. She is an inspiration to all young women around the world.

The woman who carried and gave birth to Simone is her biological mother. Simone DNA comes from the father and mother. Where is and who is the biological father.
Simone should address herself and sort out her anger and hatred toward her mom. Grace is needed in this situation. If Simone has a child is she going to withhold the child from the biological grandmother? Simone is arrogant and these deep and unaddressed feelings is why her feelings will continue to cause problems in her relationships and marriage. Sad. Only God can help in this situation. Simone should acknowledge her mom. Simone is ashamed of her biological mom.

So now that Simone is rich and world famous ,suddenly they want to be part of it ,Really ? And don’t take me wrong,I believe in forgiveness but sometimes you need to distance from toxic people in your life ,where was she when the little girls needed her the most ?
Simone is going to great regardless and she has already made it and made history. I just don't understand why people say she was in foster care when her grandparents raised her.
