It's a shame the song got lost in translation. I wish they would rerecord this line and have it be like "This little hilichurl got sick" to the tune of "This little piggy went to the market"

Fifth hili's dead, and the sixth carries him... It's not perfect translation but I feel like the spooky meaning gets across at least.

The chinese and korean versions actually sound like songs/nursery rhymes, while the japanese version sounds like something you'd hear from a TV commercial. English version is dumb.
I think part of the reason the English isn’t actually the sibling hilichurl story is because the other languages have syllables or whatever that they use for words instead of full words like in English. This means it would take longer in some cases to talk about something in English than in Japanese for example. Therefore it would be too long to put with her idle animation. But you don’t have to diss the voice actors like that. The English one sounds fine for what it’s trying to say, just because it’s not the same in all the languages doesn’t mean she did a bad job. Better than her just not having a voice actor. And actually the Japanese one is my favourite so if you don’t like one of the version you don’t have to say it, you can just change your game language and be done with it
@@Raidxn_0 The original song isn't even about the sibling hilichurls, but about six hilichurls (though, it's not the full). It's a very dark and sinister song originated from the 10 rabbits Chinese nursery song

Yeah I honestly hate the English version. I mean you could’ve at least made it about the plague or something (It’s a bunch of hillichurl rhymes to the tune of ring around the rosies which is about the plague) Note: this is *not* hate towards the voice actors. They were just singing what they were told to.
Oh wow, the KR one actually translate it pretty close, keeping that there is 6 hilichurl, and still make it into a good song. That's really amazing. Not even the JP version do that.
I think it’s cuz Chinese -> Korean translation is easier to keep context and meaning. Not sure tho, not really great at Korean, but it’s what I find when I’m studying it

For me the second time she sings, right at the end it sounds more of the entangled Disney movie. The song that the girl sings when healing the guy's hand xD
Let me tell y'all a story. It's almost the end of the Hu Tao banner and my sisters and I were DESPERATE to get her. We all REALLY want her and we are f2p so it's not like we can spend money. We have been trying so many rituals and subliminals but nothing worked. My older sisters have been saving up for a 10 pull today she got enough to pull. My twin sister and I have been learning Hu Tao's little dance and we decided that when my older sister would roll her 10 pull, my sister and I would do the dance while playing this video. WELL GUESS WHAT?? SHE GOT HU TAO!!! I am so happy for her!
I thought the story would be alot darker. Like, you've tried all rituals to get Hu Tao but it didn't work. So finally, you searched for 10 bunnies, poison the first one, have the second one look after the first one, have the third one kill the fifth one, have the fourth one eat and regurgitate the fifth one, kill the sixth one and so on and so forth.

As eastern person, i dont understand why western people so sensitive this day. Even though i play in jp, i like en song more because its so cute. Hutao va is the best english va imo
While I like the Eng version for trying to keep the creepiness, I feel like it's a bit too slow to fit with the idle animation. The others were a bit more fast paced (which made it sound more lively than creepy imo compared to the Eng version) but they fit with the idle animation. I think if they made the Eng just a tiny bit faster they can both have the creepiness and have it fit the animation a bit better. But that's just me (I even played it at 1.25 speed and it sounds like it would fit way better with the idle animation a lot more).
I like to think that the slowness of the ENG one reflects the fact that she's associated with ghosts. Her singing it in that speed and tone makes it sound ever so slightly spookier.
@@Michylawhty Oh no yeah, I totally get you! In fact I like it too, but my main problem is that is doesn't fit the animation as well. And I don't think they can just slow down the animation for it because then it goes out of sync with the other languages. That's why I said maybe they can speed up the audio for just a fraction so the audio and animation are better in sync.
@Lionhart I get what you mean, I know what the different translations are. But I mean in terms of tone, the tone is what made it more creepy to me. While the translations could've been the actual rhyme the tone is still there. Even with the cheesy "oooooo~" (Which imo most of the eng audio is cheesy sounding but it works for itself for the most part). Especially if you compare it to the other languages, to my eng ears the tone sounds more creepy than the other languages. But again this is my opinion, you can have your own!

The chinese and korean versions actually sound like songs/nursery rhymes, while the japanese version sounds like something you'd hear from a TV commercial. English version is dumb.
pyre pyre pants on fire!!!
And actually the Japanese one is my favourite so if you don’t like one of the version you don’t have to say it, you can just change your game language and be done with it
@@Raidxn_0 to add to your point about the actors-they're simply saying what they're told to. I doubt they even know context for a lot of lines.
The song originated from China about rabbits, and I guess it just fit with Korean, and Japanese is Japanese

幽暗森林小小墓碑,是丘丘冰冷的尸体
The small tombstone in the gloomy forest,it's the hilichurl icy corpse
悲鸣喊叫早已不在,太阳慢慢爬了出来
Laments and screams are long gone for all, sun begin rises up slowly
九丘丘在地上悲哀,十丘丘问她为什么?
The 9th hilichurl sorrowing on the ground,10th hilichurl ask her why?
九丘丘说,
he says
五丘丘一去不回来......
The 5th hilichurl won't come back after he gone……
高高地抬,深深地埋,
High lifted, deep buried
别让五丘丘爬出来......
Don't let 5th hilichurl climb out……
the Chinese and Korean versions have a good flow
I think, the one who actually make the song is Hu Tao since she is the poet.
You’re right !
