It is March 21, 2020 and humanity is in the midst of a global pandemic. I let sermons go on auto play as I sleep. I have no doubt it is God who woke me at 3 am as I heard the words of Buddy. This message was a balm to my soul right now in this unprecedented time. If you have been anxious or afraid, listen. I'm in that state of confusion. I don't know and am afraid what to do. I'm starting a free Bible based EFL for kids this summer, while I need steady income for living and giving my son the education he needs. Is it God's will? Please kindly pray for us. This message speaks to me like every message delivered in Saddleback. It feels like God himself tells me His heart.
I will pray for you that God will supply abundantly for you and also give you time to serve!
You can do both ...God will guild you ...give your worries to God...

At the other end, however, I just lost one reliable part-time job that supplies the biggest part of my income. I wish God will give me wisdom to face this and open up another source of income that I need.

Thank you for at least occasionally using the KJV which is an actual word for word (and italicized if not) literal translation of the Bible and not a dumbed down summary to make it easier to read by sacrificing accuracy.

I’m so disappointed in Saddleback Church and it’s leaders. I have attended its services every time I visited family in Orange County. NEVER AGAIN. We need to stand up to the tyranny in CA and churches like yours is dividing the CHURCH.
TOTAL FAIL. You only ask for guidance.. but then Buddy Owens quotes from the Old Testament saying you first have to feed, cloth and shelter the needy. Why bother? The point is, we can't, we are to selfish; that is why Christ came, to fulfill what we cannot do. We therefore only need to pray for our needs to be met, in Jesus name. The needy need to pray in Jesus name; God will see to the fulfillment of the prayers.
