I just found this channel from the "How to disappear" video and I'm so impressed by the production quality. You're a great communicator (nice voice, good speaking pace + intonation, uses layman terms without making me feel dumb). I realize there's a team behind this channel and I'm not sure how your role extends beyond presenting, but kudos to everyone involved in the production. The visual elements/examples are well chosen and extends the points you're making, the editing is excellent, and even the studio set up is aesthetically pleasing. Everything's just so polished! These videos are both fun and insightful; I can tell you and your team put a lot of time, energy and effort into them. You've got a new subscriber, keep up the great work :)

I love old print advertisements that are basically single page essays that very earnestly explained why the thing they made is really good and you should buy it. So much more pleasant than modern advertisements. Honestly I also really miss the websites of the late 90s and early 2000s. When my son returns home, his smart phone automatically connects to the home internet. He believes that when he has conversations about certain things, he later gets ads about them on his computer.
That was tested and found not to be true. BUT because something you have a conversation about is likely something you are interested in or is relevant to you it's likely to appear in ads. This combined with a healthy dose of confirmation bias can lead to the illusion that your phone is listening to you (more than it actually is)
@@solarsombrero227 My relatives might actually disagree. Now see this. My father doesn't use PC much for productive work, doesn't use much internet in his phone eighter. But he certainly did get ads on topics he covered only in person with someone, with his phone in his pocket naturally. I don't think that this proves it, but doesn't prove it false, eighter. How was it tested? How did the researchers found out that it isn't true? Did they work with a real life case scenario? Did they test it outside lab controlled environment?

Love this channel! So weird- when I looked at how Google sees me they got some interesting things wrong like my age group, education level, and income class.
I am ok about my profile being used to filter my ads. I am NOT ok when Facebook shows my real profile to friends of my fake profile or vice versa (if I have more than one profile there, for example), when the entire point of having a personal profile without my legal name is to separate the two personas for different social groups. I also saw friends from one profile offered to be added on my other profile on "friends suggestions" and that's just awful. Also, we can't turn that feature off. Sometimes we don't want to be offered as a friend to anybody, but their creepy system doesn't work that way. What's worse is that sometimes when you're applying for a job prospective employers REQUIRE you to provide your social credentials, so you have nowhere to run if you want to apply, or you have to not deal with them instead (if you don't have a profile with your legal name anymore, I killed mine because of it). Another weird thing is Facebook's "official requirement" for people to use their legal names on their profiles. If they catch you using a pen name they just delete you. Facebook is way more perverse than anything else I have ever tried and I do my best to stay away from it as much as possible. When you're bored you might have fun making a video criticizing the way they operate and maybe even give us a tutorial on how to use it safely, if that's even possible. It's not my case, but imagine a secretly Christian person living in a radical Muslim country, then Facebook starts offering all your Christian groups and friends to your friends and family, even if you used another account for that purpose (and vice versa, and your fake profile to your family members). I would not be surprised to learn that people ended up killed because of Facebook's lack of respect in a situation like that. If it didn't happen already, it might happen in the future. One thing is to use your information for advertising, another is to show your family and "real life" friends secret affiliations you might have that should not cross between profiles. And they do use many techniques to leak the information, using different email addresses and browsers or even different devices isn't enough. They use your geolocation / ip address / routing etc to "offer people and groups" across your identities. I can't understand what they gain from doing that, to be honest, and the fact you can't block that feature makes their platform even less desirable and it's sad people might not have access to a safe space to build on line relationships with people who share the same values without that information leaking between universes. 😟 Sorry for the long comment!

Seriously I'm not gonna step out of my room or show my face until I get that million dollar surgery and become physically appealing.
I don't think you mentioned any kind of ad block, though I assume being a youtuber makes them a conflict of interest haha. Seriously though, I have the ability to also block elements (via html source code) on any page and keep it persistent. Now I can block all pop ups, visual reminders, or other such things on a page. For example, many websites have some kind of "hey pls don't use adblock" sort of reminder, but I can just hide that element by blocking it, and now i don't even have to put up with their pitiful begging lol.

You have great quality..love it♥️
Wow this was extremely helpful, thanks!
I like how u showed a red model T, well talking about how many cars ford sold. Thing is they never sold a red one. Henry Ford famously said "You can have one in any color you want as long as that color is black"
your background is always better
I love everything about this channel
Advertisers hate him!
😂( Click bait titles of ads )
All jokes aside, thank you for everyone behind this channel.
Thank you Win. We love you.

This channel is brilliant
Hey, thanks a lot!
I hope it was really that easy to make friends by meeting them, the fact most people instantly look away if you're ugly, this is probably one of the problem of physically meeting people.
Seriously I'm not gonna step out of my room or show my face until I get that million dollar surgery and become physically appealing.
i love the new title cards for this video!
Thanks. Sorry, there was an imposter here before me. I deleted their comments.
This is very useful information presented in a interesting way. Thanks for this info, internet security is paramount!
Hey awesome video keep up the good work 💪
Great vid! May i ask for the link for the choose 6 photos and determine your age and gender thing at 10 mins?
Yess another influencer that will change the world
First time I've ever been called an influencer ahaha
Great Video! However, the link to the website which aims to guess age and gender from choosing 6 pictures does not seem to work.
Same here
Thanks for the info again Bradley 🥳
You're more than welcome, friend!
3 UA-cam ads in a row , what a website!!

My new role model

@@Sumsubcom oh stop it Sensei
I found a new great channel.
The research project you mentioned? Can't open the link, it its not up anymore? Can't even find it on google
Edit: he fixed after my comment! Nice
;)
I don't think you mentioned any kind of ad block, though I assume being a youtuber makes them a conflict of interest haha.
Seriously though, I have the ability to also block elements (via html source code) on any page and keep it persistent. Now I can block all pop ups, visual reminders, or other such things on a page. For example, many websites have some kind of "hey pls don't use adblock" sort of reminder, but I can just hide that element by blocking it, and now i don't even have to put up with their pitiful begging lol.
greetings from brazil, we love your videos
I'm glad! Welcome!
I do kind of click on banners in a specific area. That area happens to be the X closing the banner :D
Brilliant
