Long time follower from US. This is special to me because I remember parties from my childhood versus what parents do now and I am so shocked how much money is spent! My mom said most families did a home party (not much money). You had hot dogs, cake and punch. Pin the tail on the donkey and music like you had. Basic but we had sooooo much fun. It was manageable and kids are kids...they will have fun with basic games. You don't have to spend a lot of money. I loved how you used your imagination and made the decorations a family event. It is so special and he will never forget it. I have not and I am waaaaaay past 8 years old. LOL!

How to decide games for kids on birthday if u could help...as u said everything was made at home but it would be time consuming during party isn't it half the time we will be in kitchen
I pre prep most of the things. Like pasta was made before the party and kept in casserole. For garlic bread, butter garlic paste was made in advance. Popcorn and chips were also kept on table before starting the party. And yes, you need help for sure. Either a family member or househelp can help you. My sister and husband helped me in everything.

After seeing ur videos I was inspired a lot and organised my home in a very good way, bought many cleaning items fm amazon last yr. I was stuck in blr fr 3 1/2 months last yr due to ban on flights, HD cm fr my father's funeral , later in Aug I returned to Dubai once the flight started. It was a tough time last yr fr me as kids were here I was stuck n blr, thts why I went fr online shopping, just bought imp thing s near my mom's house as I dint go out much, ppl in India font wear marks, don't follow social distancing, I was not fully vaccinated, situation was horrible last yr, this yr April my husband went fr my father's 1 yr death ceremony, no pcr test, nothing everything was svrapped out, u cn travel freely now.
