Fucking love these songs. Can't get over how amazingly awesome Albert is. Been listening to him for like 4 years now, still. Christ I love his solo work.
The guys can't ever have solo projects without having them compared to the Strokes or each other. I understand but first of all the guys all work together and compromise with each other to make strokes music and as far as their separate works go they just have different styles. Much love to all of them and their respective careers.
@tommasogragnolati From what I understand, Is This It was written by Julian Casablancas. He basically composed all the songs. Same goes for Room On Fire. But, credit is given to Albert for co-writing Automatic Stop on that album. First Impressions was definitely a very collaborative record though. This upcoming release is supposedly more of the same.
Modern day hair band lol. He rocks and it makes me sad that he doesnt sing in the strokes but at least he still rocks out on his rhythm guitar. The Strokes are working on their new album now and i hope they never break up but if they do hopefully Albert will do his own thing!!!!! ALBERT HAMMOND JR FTW!!!!
if the members of the strokes as solo artists create such music as albert's or julian's it makes it a little easier to understand how all together they managed to write those 3 marvelous albums!
Best solo album from Strokes members
