As a vegetarian, I do not condone eating meat. I'll be blunt to say that I get disturbed by the killing of any kind of animals. But I also love Nagaland for their culture, languages and beauty. I did not watch this video because I know I'll be extremely upset but as long as you respect other dietary habits, I'll respect your choices.

I am a Hindu from West Bengal, India. Actually, in my family we never have consumed any meat, fish or egg. Both my grandmother and mother cook best vegetarian items for everyone. Whoseever comes to our house during occasions find our home cooked veg food very delicious.
Since India is a very diverse nation, we must appreciate every lifestyle and food habits because that would add more beauty to our diversity.
Those who are mocking or criticizing our benevolent Naga brothers, I urge not to judge them because their food habit does not describe their mentality or inner beauty. I love all my brothers and sisters from Nagaland and want best for them and their state.
By the way I am going to visit Nagaland in month of June, so please suggest me some best vegetarian restaurants in Dimapur and also do not forget to mention Best Veg food item of Nagaland😊
It's very rare to have veg restaurants in Nagaland... Prepare to cook yourself.. carry minimum kitchenware like electric cooker.. it will be helpful...

Food habit of people varies according to their habitat, people of coastal area survive on sea foods, they eat fish, snails and many other creatures found in the sea. People of hilly regions mostly survive by hunting animals, birds which are found in the region. So as the geographical area changes, the race, culture and particularly the food of the people change. People's superiority over other can't be determined by the food we eat. Food means to survive and after all humans were hunters in the early era and we're all their descendants. I see lots of Food experts in the comment section , Who gave you the right to judge someone's diet because you're accustomed , born or chose to be a vegetarian , incase if you're a different type of non vegetarian , stop being double standards discriminating animal basing on your taste . For your info , not all Nagas consume dog meat , many would treat them as a good companion and would do everything for them to live and if you dragged every nagas into one category you're just too stupid to understand the whole scenario. Yes , it's true most nagas have little knowledge on difference between companion animal and meat animal as it has been passed down by our ancestors it's in our culture most people usually see dog as a meat , likewise mutton , beef , pork , chicken etc , etc ... and everyday general public are being educated for that concern , by the way those meat merchant are just like everybody else for their survival because our economy is mainly based on non vegetarian products , lastly people questioning about the corona virus on the dog meat , you need to do some more research .... This is just my personal opinion , i just can't ignore to penned down these points because lots of hatred comments are just unnecessary and most importantly doesn't seem true .

I was in Assam n I have friend from nagaland I remember after our annual exam he bring rat meat and he told me to make it secret I said no problem we're since Facebook friends he's in nagaland and I'm in Canada right now due to him I start eating pork n bats but my family doesn't know 😅well even it's 5years but still my Assamese is excellent I can speak very well infact cousin bro married with Assamese girl I call her #bou she's living with us in Toronto Canada
