Started playing this build since I watched your first video and have hit 100. Fastest leveling experience I've had, flew through maps. A few things I noticed throughout the leveling process. Tried a different setup with Runebolt and Glyph of Dominion and found that Runebolt is awful and stacking armor shred for Dissolve and Conquer is nearly pointless in solo play. A well rolled elemental damage over time affix on a staff is almost as good as a mid rolled shock chance affix. Self casting Runic Invocation procs Brand of Deception despite costing less than 15 mana. Also for some reason Brand of Deception does more damage from a self cast Runic Invocation as opposed to an auto cast one from Flame Rush.
@@evtimstefanov5441 or the progression of their class design, the rune master is much newer than others. I’m sure once overhauls are done the older classes can be brought in line
I combined brand of deception and the mana strike/frost claw/ lightning blast dragorath build to use static all the time with the brand, as well as get a lot of on hit ward from all the hits going on everywhere, got inspired from your vid for that! Would be curious to see if you could make a fun build with aergon's fire ball or whatever was the name of it (triple fire rune invocation) ... that spell feels so impactful.. a build with that would feel really good
Today I learned >> Flame Rush Runic invocation bypasses Immutable Order CD. That would have been Very helpful to know when I was playing Hydra Also word of advice from something I saw on another build. If you dont NEED a belt slot. Using a unique uh... the Belt that gives +14 potions. Slam the experimental affix of Lowers a second of yer Traversal skill when you use a potion. >> Makes it REALLL nice to just Flame rush > potion > Flame Rush > Potion > ad infinum.
So you and anyone reading this knows, the cooldown bypass works for most triggered skills. I'm playing Melee Detonating arrow applied/triggered by explosive trap and you can totally take the cooldown node that doubles area and gives 30% more damage on the left side of the tree and every trap still procs a hit. That one is crazy as I am hitting 2 screens per explosion against hard targets! Same idea for how healing hands can be procced by Rive or Smite even though you have the cooldown traversal node in HH and can use it separately
I ve been having great fun with your build! I just recommend doing something else before you gain the "more damage per shock chance" passive as I hard quite a hard time betweeen level 40 and 50 something. But after that, man this is fun to fly bomb around everything !

But can you please explain some things: how do you make sure to procc brand of deception? only with static? static only costs 12 mana for me and i dont know how to make it more epxensive and i would like to have it proccing always in a build that is made "just for this node". I am proccing it with static orb most of the time, but i run out of many relatively fast... Greets!
You need to make sure that your staff or weapon that you are using doesnt have the -3% mana cost on it certain staffs have it and some dont. That was your static will cost 15. And you want the node in orb that decreases it so orb isnt procing brand because you want that to just stack static for single target. Most of the time you just want your runic invocation is be applying the brand though with your flamerush.
@Dr3adful how do you prevent randomly getting potion "used" when running over them on maps? it sometimes seems to happen to me, it just uses a potion even when I'm not clicking them and i've removed the keybind. Also, did I miss where you explained why the unique belt is a must use? it seems so underwhelming, but idk :) Edit: Nm seems like a weird bug.... it was picking up potions only on 1 mono... then it stopped doing it again, idk what happened since i don't have a key to drink potions.
Do you think there's a build to be made with the Vilatria's Stormlance invocation? I think it looks super cool and is pretty neat to not have to scale crit for it
No mention of this being your white whale? How does the build feel after pushing corruption, and bossing? Reminds me of Aura judgement pally a year ago of things just dying around you, but zoomin
What makes the oceareon rings so good? Is the 1% damage per stack of shock (so 10% at full stacks) like multiplied while other damage increses are additive or something like that??
Attuned Approach says on DIRECT casts you refund mana. You don’t cast it directly. Other than that, nice, I like walking simulator builds in ARPGs lol.

The ward bug definitely seems to be fixed. I was playing this build and had 20.5k ward, logged in today after the patch, and it's only 8.5k now

Really love the build and it's really fun. I swapped from runic gale to plasma orb because i enjoy it more for the brand application.

if your hp is not 100%, you'll automatic use potion when running over them on the ground

That is correct. if a multiplier says it's "more" damage, then it is multiplicative. If it was increased damage, that would be additive.

It is about the main damage source, brand of Deception that does DoT.
