In my complete agreement with all of the positives from Loaf, one area people overlook is not the specific video itself (which again is absolutely outstanding), Loaf takes the time to reply to his viewers. Most guides fall trap into the spectrum of showing off to maybe helpful here and there in the comments section but still very selective and bias. The energy from this elite teacher is very comforting and the main element towards successive guidance. Bravo. BYW I have commented on channels about 20 times only in my life.

Bro this is THE BEST build video I have ever seen. Some people would be scared off from the 2 hr run time but it's just all information that's relative. I have eaten this video up these last couple days leveling my runemaster. I started with shadow dagger blade dancer and was happy with it. Then swarm druid. Then dive bomb falconer. And now this build. THIS build kills all others. Ward is so OP. if your playing a health build your already at a disadvantage
this build really gave me a great place to start and evolve from there. I didn't fully follow everything but it definitely helped me respec to a higher dps build. Thanks, Loaf!

I was starting a lightning blast build with no background and found your build. Most detailed guide I've ever seen, especially the target farming and the FAQ helped a lot. A suggestion: The spell section was hard to follow on a small monitor because of the zoom: maybe zoom a little closer in the skill window.

I wanted to add a few item alternatives especially while looking for the specific ones: (Set ring) Ferebor's persistance 18 int 168 armor, (set Ring) The invoker Static touch gives 70 ward on shocked targets, and for belt (unique) Communion of the Erased grants 45% armor or even double on potion use

I am playing your build in hc and i really love it. This is my first hc character ever in last epoch (i play poe though) and i am doing really well, i just reached empowered monolith and i am blasting. I just had a bit of trouble figuring how to optimize passive points and skills points while leveling. Since your previous videos were mainly about endame farming and gear setup(i know you mentionned dreadful video, it helped me a lot) I used your filter and it gave me a good insight on how to build a good and well planned loot filter.

Wow havent had a chance to read it all yet but just looking at timestamps I see you will answer so many questions about target farming and crafting I have and I will definitely try to follow this build. This looks amazing. Plus you seem pretty cool and relax to listen to.
Since I do like teleport way more than flame rush, I have altered the build to convert lightning blast into a cold skill through the mage passive tree and then I use Cold (Lightning Blast), Fire (Flame Ward) and Cold (Frost Wall). Furthermore I also specced into Elemental Nova so on teleport use I apply 4 Spark Charges in an instant.
This is how a builds guide should be, specially if theres alot of mechanics going on.. a deep dive kinda into every skill and what is does for the build. very good guide!

I've transitioned to this build from my hydra runemaster, and while this feels similar in playstyle, it's SO much better. The tankiness on this build is insane. Sad that the lightning zaps have a somewhat unsatysfying sound, but I'm still having a blast playing it. Also, this is the best and most informative build video ever.
Swapped from nova-claw to this build and i must say it feels much better, less screen-clutter and the dps + ward is very nice with this setup, thank you for builld guide! i num-lock the flame shield and the runic skill to ease the botton spam ^^ cheers mate!
I have over 1300 hours in LE. I've read and watched the gamut of guides over the last couple years of playing, and never have I ever come across a singular youtube guide that I could reliably follow comfortably, that would yield any degree of proper results. The one and only close exception being a recent wraithlord guide that was an hour long, and I thought THAT was pretty detailed at the time. No, Pinchingloaf, THIS is true detail. Your guide is honestly what I wish every single guide ever created for any build ever in any action rpg was like. Leveling instructions, explanations for EVERYTHING, and layman's terms common sense directions to ensure fool proof success. I was already aware of many tidbits, such as numlock trick, etc, being an avid action rpg fan, but the depth of skill points and why to use them and when to take them and the separate planners for various versions (including a min-maxed super farm version if one is so inclined), it's all just above and beyond. You are truly an exceptional guide creator and I am SO thankful for this video for allowing me to find a Runemaster build I can actually enjoy. Thank you so much. I'm looking so forward to your pally guide as well. And for the record, I watched it all in one sitting then came back for seconds on some parts and still do as I continue to build this absolute banger of a character.

Thanks man! Yeah they have so many nodes and uniques for trielemental but it just doesn’t seem to fit together right. I hope they rework the sorc passive tree to better mesh with the current tri elemental stuff.
@@pinchingloaf I've been trying hard to piece together a tri-element build and while it's fun for now I feel like it's going to suffer in high corruption. I really enjoy it because it gives me access to every runic invocation so my gameplay is always different. Currently only in ~200 corruption but I've been playing effectively Invoker from Dota 2 with 0-cost spells and spamming runic invocations to constantly generate ward. With Wrongwarp, I have 135% cast speed, 675% spell damage, ~300% elemental damage. Lots of fun but really requires too much concentration to make sure all my buffs are going and if I stop moving at all I die. P:

Been waiting for this video, tank you for taking the time to make it. Really love this build, and been maining it since I found it. Only topic I found to be missing was, on stream, you mentioned also including some 3 or 4LP legendary items you would switch to for the exalted if they dropped.
Yeah sorry the 2 things I forgot to add was that and map mods. I did however put a Giga planner in the video description if you had insane luck and that shows the different uniques that would be super strong on the build with lp.
Great guide. I've been hitting brick wall on my own. But this is something else. I would like to add just one point. You need to take into account the rank bonus that turns rare items into exalts with 25% chance. Then lens that gives an increased chance of rare items is more profitable per favor than a lens that gives exalt items.
One of the greatest guide ever, thank you! Start with HC only, I more like to use teleport part for invocation (u get real teleport, not like fr) and go for ice barrage than flame rush. But i understand that have much more defence with forst guard will be better on higher lvls. (i'm only 71 for now)
If you’re playing hard core and don’t like fr, I would recommend speccing snap freeze. Great defensive option as it gives you constant freezes and armor while it’s on cooldown.

Loving all the tweaks, tbh runic invocation as a traversal skill didn't sit too well with me and I never added the teleport point to begin with so now everything is more perfect, at least for me :D As far as the video goes it's just excellent work mate, I don't think it can get any more detailed and comprehensive than this, just 10/10 and bravo!
Amazing video, great job! When you're adding a prefix for Glyph of Insight, you can use Rune of Discovery instead of picking a specific affix, as it will always use 0 FP. Of course this only applies when you only have 1 open prefix, like you did in your example.
thank you again for this build, i love it so so much. wanted to share with you my favourite legendary i made so far for this build which is a 2 potential bone clamor barbute which i managed to roll 12 int and +2 lighting blast on to :D so as a total it gives about 20 int. very happy with it
couple of questions i have though, since int is ABSOLUTE king for this build is there some instances where you are better off running the green ring Ferebor's persistence for 17 int or the amulet death rattle since that is the only way (i can see) to get int on the amulet slot? Thanks for your time.
First off, congrats on the Bone Clamor(I still dont have mine... lol). Sadly losing your amulet slow would kill your resistances and get rid of a vital source of shock. The ring is an excellent budget piece until you get a nice exalted int ring though.
@pinchingloaf thanks a bunch man, honestly unless i badly mess up i don't really ever come anywhere close to dying so i don't feel too bad giving up some resistance. I am trying to get more damage though, i am at 151 int, 336 crit multi, 194% increased cast speed, 116% lightning damage (with ladel 1 equipped) but still feel a touch weak relative to how tanky i am. Looking up other builds that other people have made for other classes truly makes me value just how perfect YOUR build is. thank you again, it is so exceptional. Would love your take on which of these 3 ladles i should run. Ladle 1: t6 cast speed 35% t5 lightning pen 10% 13% slow 9% frailty 15% shred armour 30% electrify 10% poison Ladle 2: t6 crit strike multi 68% t5 chance to ignite 51% 32% slow 16% frailty 17% shred armour 46% electrify 10% poison Ladle 3: t7 crit strike multi 84% 37% slow 25% frailty 22% shred armour 38% electrify 15% poison

I'm terribly slow and Flame Rush has already killed me many times. That's why I wonder what the original skill was there? Maybe it would be better for me to go slower but with more certainty. Thanks!

I was starting a lightning blast build with no background and found your build. Most detailed guide I've ever seen, especially the target farming and the FAQ helped a lot. A suggestion: The spell section was hard to follow on a small monitor because of the zoom: maybe zoom a little closer in the skill window.

Really enjoy the guide carrying me hard. I wanted to add a few item alternatives especially while looking for the specific ones: (Set ring) Ferebor's persistance 18 int 168 armor, (set Ring) The invoker Static touch gives 70 ward on shocked targets, and for belt (unique) Communion of the Erased grants 45% armor or even double on potion use
All of those are great budget options to get the build going!

I am playing your build in hc and i really love it. This is my first hc character ever in last epoch (i play poe though) and i am doing really well, i just reached empowered monolith and i am blasting. I just had a bit of trouble figuring how to optimize passive points and skills points while leveling. Since your previous videos were mainly about endame farming and gear setup(i know you mentionned dreadful video, it helped me a lot) I used your filter and it gave me a good insight on how to build a good and well planned loot filter.

probably first AND THE BEST guide with high corruption that isnt lock or falcon post 700+, congratz. well done.
Since I do like teleport way more than flame rush, I have altered the build to convert lightning blast into a cold skill through the mage passive tree and then I use Cold (Lightning Blast), Fire (Flame Ward) and Cold (Frost Wall). Furthermore I also specced into Elemental Nova so on teleport use I apply 4 Spark Charges in an instant.
For me this is the first guide that rly worked. Thank you so much, now im like immortal, and pushing monoliths first time to 300

I've transitioned to this build from my hydra runemaster, and while this feels similar in playstyle, it's SO much better. The tankiness on this build is insane. Sad that the lightning zaps have a somewhat unsatysfying sound, but I'm still having a blast playing it.
Also, this is the best and most informative build video ever.

Swapped from nova-claw to this build and i must say it feels much better, less screen-clutter and the dps + ward is very nice with this setup, thank you for builld guide! i num-lock the flame shield and the runic skill to ease the botton spam ^^ cheers mate!

I have over 1300 hours in LE. I've read and watched the gamut of guides over the last couple years of playing, and never have I ever come across a singular youtube guide that I could reliably follow comfortably, that would yield any degree of proper results. The one and only close exception being a recent wraithlord guide that was an hour long, and I thought THAT was pretty detailed at the time. No, Pinchingloaf, THIS is true detail. Your guide is honestly what I wish every single guide ever created for any build ever in any action rpg was like. Leveling instructions, explanations for EVERYTHING, and layman's terms common sense directions to ensure fool proof success. I was already aware of many tidbits, such as numlock trick, etc, being an avid action rpg fan, but the depth of skill points and why to use them and when to take them and the separate planners for various versions (including a min-maxed super farm version if one is so inclined), it's all just above and beyond. You are truly an exceptional guide creator and I am SO thankful for this video for allowing me to find a Runemaster build I can actually enjoy. Thank you so much. I'm looking so forward to your pally guide as well. And for the record, I watched it all in one sitting then came back for seconds on some parts and still do as I continue to build this absolute banger of a character.

This is an amazing guide! I don't even plan on using the build, just wanted to see other strategies, and I learned SO much about the game itself. Thank you!! Really hoping to find a solid tri-element, Runic Invocation spam build but these mono-element ones are seeming so much easier.
Thanks man! Yeah they have so many nodes and uniques for trielemental but it just doesn’t seem to fit together right. I hope they rework the sorc passive tree to better mesh with the current tri elemental stuff.
@@pinchingloaf I've been trying hard to piece together a tri-element build and while it's fun for now I feel like it's going to suffer in high corruption. I really enjoy it because it gives me access to every runic invocation so my gameplay is always different.
Currently only in ~200 corruption but I've been playing effectively Invoker from Dota 2 with 0-cost spells and spamming runic invocations to constantly generate ward. With Wrongwarp, I have 135% cast speed, 675% spell damage, ~300% elemental damage. Lots of fun but really requires too much concentration to make sure all my buffs are going and if I stop moving at all I die. P:

Only topic I found to be missing was, on stream, you mentioned also including some 3 or 4LP legendary items you would switch to for the exalted if they dropped.
Yeah sorry the 2 things I forgot to add was that and map mods. I did however put a Giga planner in the video description if you had insane luck and that shows the different uniques that would be super strong on the build with lp.
Great guide. I've been hitting brick wall on my own. But this is something else.
I would like to add just one point. You need to take into account the rank bonus that turns rare items into exalts with 25% chance. Then lens that gives an increased chance of rare items is more profitable per favor than a lens that gives exalt items.

Start with HC only, I more like to use teleport part for invocation (u get real teleport, not like fr) and go for ice barrage than flame rush.
But i understand that have much more defence with forst guard will be better on higher lvls. (i'm only 71 for now)
If you’re playing hard core and don’t like fr, I would recommend speccing snap freeze. Great defensive option as it gives you constant freezes and armor while it’s on cooldown.

Loving all the tweaks, tbh runic invocation as a traversal skill didn't sit too well with me and I never added the teleport point to begin with so now everything is more perfect, at least for me :D

Amazing video, great job! When you're adding a prefix for Glyph of Insight, you can use Rune of Discovery instead of picking a specific affix, as it will always use 0 FP. Of course this only applies when you only have 1 open prefix, like you did in your example.

thank you again for this build, i love it so so much. wanted to share with you my favourite legendary i made so far for this build which is a 2 potential bone clamor barbute which i managed to roll 12 int and +2 lighting blast on to :D so as a total it gives about 20 int. very happy with it
couple of questions i have though, since int is ABSOLUTE king for this build is there some instances where you are better off running the green ring Ferebor's persistence for 17 int or the amulet death rattle since that is the only way (i can see) to get int on the amulet slot? Thanks for your time.
First off, congrats on the Bone Clamor(I still dont have mine... lol). Sadly losing your amulet slow would kill your resistances and get rid of a vital source of shock. The ring is an excellent budget piece until you get a nice exalted int ring though.
@pinchingloaf thanks a bunch man, honestly unless i badly mess up i don't really ever come anywhere close to dying so i don't feel too bad giving up some resistance. I am trying to get more damage though, i am at 151 int, 336 crit multi, 194% increased cast speed, 116% lightning damage (with ladel 1 equipped) but still feel a touch weak relative to how tanky i am.
Looking up other builds that other people have made for other classes truly makes me value just how perfect YOUR build is. thank you again, it is so exceptional.

It's one of the most carefully crafted build guides I've seen in a long time. Step by step, patient, to the point, and with detailed explanation. I can see how much of your effort and time you spent on this and I sincerely thank you. @pinchingloaf I have one more question: in the comment you mention that you used Flame Rush instead of another original skill because of the increased speed. I'm terribly slow and Flame Rush has already killed me many times. That's why I wonder what the original skill was there? Maybe it would be better for me to go slower but with more certainty. Thanks!
There is a separate build planner in the video description for that. I use runic invocation as a teleport ability instead.
