I already had my doubts about the justice system. I've seen too many trials result in outcomes that are just preposterous. Do I think no case is ever decided fairly? No, of course not. There are many people trying their best, and the Hunter verdict is a good example. Many people have been charged with the exact same crime. Many have been found guilty. This specific case... short of a signed confession, the evidence here was overwhelming. There really was no other choice but to render a guilty verdict. Contrast that with the other 'high profile case' where we still don't know what the other crime actually was, and it is the opposite. That case clearly was an abuse of the justice system and reinforces my doubts on the justice system as a whole is shielded from corruption. It tells me that any case where a specific outcome is desired could be manipulated to ignore the law and abuse the system.
