Gordon's is s joke. I haul milk now. Made a six figure salary last year. No heavy lifting. I was a selector at 50th street, then, Clay Ave in, 1993, after they built what was considered new technology then. Anyway let me know when you average, 169 % and no 21 codes for better then 92 weeks. That's no joke. They work your ass off. Every holiday, except, Christmas, unless that's changed, too. Every damn, Sunday. Gordon's should start every selector at, 22 bucks and hour, and make it possible to make another, 5 to 10 bucks a hour while on production, not downtime. But they pay just enough and no more. Just enough to keep employees from, bitching, & complaining. Gordon's should also pay for unlimited chiropractic care for there selectors & packers, because of the high demand & stress all the heavy lifting wears on the selector & packers back, but they're to cheap to do that. I don't know about now in, 2023, but, 30 years ago, the freezer was the best place to select, because the product wasn't as heavy as grocery & produce selection. Produce was always the heaviest product. I could pick it and I could pack it. Old school pick and pack, too. 50 cube bins. They sent me to, Mississauga, near, Toronto, Canda to train those idiots. I was the thee most accurate selector in the history of that company, and they new it. Records are made, then broken. I'm sure someone has surpassed my number of weeks, with no, 21 codes, but a fiscal year, at 169 percent average is pretty damn good. Anyway good luck to you GFS selectors & packers. Selector for 6 years 1 million cases as a rookie at the Ohio warehouse, you throw your BACK AWAY working here you get pay good is you get a lot of minutes picking opens levels n help out other levels for back strips but you will feel like a old man after working there not worth it at all

You were a garbage selector old man. You brag a lot about a job you say you hated. I’d pick circles around your 169% and we throw more than double the workload that you threw back in 93’ since we picked up Culver’s as a customer.

Does anyone know exactly what the warehouse pickers do and that the warehouse shipping associates do? I'm contemplating putting my application in and have my eyes on these two positions, but I am not sure exactly what the difference between them is besides the pay. Thanks in advance!
