Congratulations to everyone involved in this tournament. Very high technical level, excellent players with all the characters. That was. for me, the second best fighting game tournament I've seen, second only to Ultra Street Fighter IV at EVO 2015. And of course, the best tournament of EVO Japan 2023.
Azuo has completely forgotten about Terry’s Burning Knuckle move. There were a few times when using it would have won the match/confuse the opponent. Sure, Terry’s Burning Knuckle really can’t be comboed properly, but its a good move. If you mix it up a little, it can be used to throw off your opponent. His Crackshot spin kick is another great move.
I hope and pray that MOTW2 uses hand-drawn sprites like KOF XIII. It will help differentiate it from the current KOF games and the original was famous for it's sprite work.
How long do you think it takes to develop a game? It hasn't even been a year since it was greenlit. And active development was only just now announced.
I miss fighting games where the combos usually had less than 5 chained moves. It's sad how developers only make games with giant combos that take at least 30% of the health bar.

Your only one guy that made a Top 8 at all lost very fair and square and the rest of you very expectantly didn't even make it. The "USA tournament" nonsense is over.

i think putting the higher damage behind combos a bit longer is good. But not KOF 13 long. 15 has decently long combos
