DECOYING Snow Geese Out of Layout Blinds | Snow Goose Hunting 2024

Matt is out on another snow goose hunt. This time in a snow-covered field. There were some snow geese in the area and the group set out a sock and full body spread on top of hill and hid in layout blinds. Good wind and smaller flocks of snow geese led to some great decoying. Easily the best snow goose hunt of the season thus far!

As usual what a great show for us to witness this performance. Thanks again for sharing this moment of pure white hunt, just noticed your shotgun is on white camo, remind me the official one in Finland (Winter War 1938/40!), nobody shooting back at you but how difficult are they to seduce, they got some education somewhere the oldest ones! Have fun with All the plugging, but what a nice "confit" (French cooking in duck/goose fat for a long slow low temperature!) these will all may do, and it's preserves in jars, old timers know, good all year long, just reheated, and yes, it's not bad for your cholesterol ... Enjoy as much as we enjoyed, and may Saint Hubert be always with you.
