    You can stack these tanks and have them on sliding drawer shelves so that you grow them making better use of the vertical space, increasing volume to 10x what you have in this room!

    Last time I messed with Trumpet Snail was 2 years ago. So I went on a Fishing Trip took a break, feet in the water, saw the Trumpet Snail crawling around, pick it up, and brought it home. Sadly it Die Right Away. 2+week later close to 100 give or take a few baby Trumpet Snail started crawling out of the substrate and started eating away all my drift woods.

      @doncheko6866 2 роки тому

      It isn’t that difficult guys, and if you love the hobby then it would be fun not stressful.. belief me even this heavy hitters that look like pros have trouble working out how to do things and the thing is that they do research on how to achieve what they’re aiming for them selfs.. start slowly but surely and once you start getting the ball moving little by little it will start to gain momentum and you will be a pro your self ;)..

    • @doncheko6866
      @doncheko6866 2 роки тому

      Do your research on google, UA-cam and many other places.. there is a lot of information out there.. water parameters for example sounds like a big headache but it’s not.. aim for the type of shrimp you are looking to keep and get your water parameters set for that type of shrimp. Now if you have a ro/di water systems then you can set your parameters with certain remineralizers that are out there, or if you don’t have a ro/di for what ever reasons then you do your research on how to go about using tap water or drinking water.. but do your research no matter what and remember move slowly.. belief me there has been many people who had success breeding with tap water and drinking water but at the end of the day is not that they are using this or that, the reason its working for them is because they have done their homework and they know what they are doing.. Now as you guys do you homework you will hear a lot that yes parameters are important but even more important is stability, what ever your method is just make sure it’s stable and not much change.. at the end of the day just give it a go with a species not that expensive and see how that goes, then go from there and don’t be bummed out what ever the outcome, remember this hobby should help relieve stress not the opposite.. hopefully that helps some one out there and god bless you all… and remember to stay humble, good bye ✌️

    Hey I love your videos . I have a 5 gallon tank with one betta and a few snails. What shrimp do you recommend that I can add and how many? Thank you

      Janine Dreyfus I think you can do neo caridina what are water peramters like and what kind of snails do you have? Fish and don’t really go to good together but I have had success before with that. A five gallon tank is a nice starter size for shrimp. Adding moss buce cholla wood rocks any type of hiding spots for the shrimp would really help. Berta’s can be with other fish and possibly shrimp I have never tried it myself but can give a few tips on that. I would recommend you pay close attention to your tank and make sure you don’t see your beta picking on your shrimp. To much aggression towards the shrimps and they can die from stress. I would pay close attention and see how they do. The only other steps are water parameters and how long the tank has been up and running for? For the amount I would really recommend going with flip aquatics neo caridina starter pack I bought it my self and cannot tell you how much happier I was with them rather than getting from my lfs they came in great condition and were Beautiful colors. For the amount I think what every starter pack you choose and they will breed I would start off anywhere between 10 to 20 depending which option you choose and they will breed from there. Wish you best of luck and for any questions I’m here to.

    Hey rob, you seem to import shrimp to sell, why don’t you breed them an sell? Or is this because demand is so high.

      laurence eades I’ve see his site used to give the option for either imported or breed for a few species, but I haven’t seen that lately. I imagine that yes, the demand Is too high for his operation to keep up with demand. Hopefully the new location allows for more US breed options.

      Crushed coral is a great pH buffer that a lot of folks use in their tanks.

      @Evan-Oliver Appreciate video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Elenajan Supplement Smasher (just google it)? It is a good exclusive product for learning how to shrimp farm like a pro without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.
