It's still in great condition! There is the tiniest visible wear on one corner, but you have to inspect very closely to see this small spot. I only use it as a special occasion bag or for going out to a nice dinner, but it's the perfect understated luxurious clutch in my opinion.

It looks very soft and I am worried about scuff marks/ scratching and tearing on the edges of the bag. Do you find that your bag has held up well so far? I would like to use it as an everyday bag so I need it to be durable.
I'm so glad it was helpful! I think this is the best kept secret at Dior. I was surprised by how well this lambskin bag has held up! In my experience patent leather can still wear at the corners eventually, but it is more durable than lambskin. That being said, I haven't had any issues and I can't see any damage. I don't have any scuffs or scratches! I've had this for a year and use it about once a week. I don't take it out in the rain, but I don't feel like I need to baby it. Of course Dior will spa your bag if needed down the line!

Thanks for your question! This was my first lambskin bag, and I was nervous about it too. This has held up very well. One of the corners is just barely starting to show a hint of wear. It hasn't rubbed or scratched, but it's a bit lighter at the corner point. Now I mostly use this in the fall and winter seasons and as a special occasion bag. I've wanted to add a clutch to my collection for a while (something versitile that I could wear both during the day and in the evening). I've been torn between this Lady Dior pouch and the Bulgari serpenti. Since you own and love both, I'm wondering if you would recommend one over the other in terms of quality and function? I know Dior lambskin well, owning a couple of Lady Diors already, and the lambskin, buttery soft as it is, wears so well. My hesitation with the stunning Bulgari is that I've seen a lot of reviews on the calf leather scratching up. Second-hand Serpentis in calf skin often show scratches. Hmmm. Both stunning bags. Hi Catherine, thank you so much for your comment! I reach for my Bulgari bag a little more often, but I would recommend the Dior pouch if you're only going to buy one. My Bulgari bag only has slight wear on top, minor creases from opening the bag, but I haven't had any scratches on the calfskin. To be fair, there were only so many opportunities to wear either bag in 2020. They are both beautiful, and I would buy both again. I'm leaning towards the Dior pouch because it fits more, there are no signs of wear, its versatility with the chain or as a clutch, and its understate elegance. Also, it's easier to go in and out of the Dior pouch. I've worn them both casually and dressed up. Did you ever consider getting it in patent? I've been torn on whether to get this in patent or lambskin and my indecisiveness keeps putting it off. On the website the different color options look so nice in patent but I guess it would make it more dressier VS lambskin making it more everyday casual?
Personally, patent isn't my favorite. It looks nice and I love the colors, but it's never been my favorite texture. I think either could be dressed up or down depending how you style it. Patent might be less delicate than lambskin if that is a factor for you. I've just never been drawn to patent for whatever reason. I'm sorry that's not very helpful.

I also prefer this dior bag over the chanel woc, I think dior is just as classic as chanel, the bag itself is very functional , can be very casual just as it can be fancy and sophiscated depends on your outfit. same as chanel but consider the fact that chanel is way over priced, definitely dior is the winner😘

Thanks for your question! The bag is completely made of lambskin. So are the zip pouch and card holder. Some other versions are made of calfskin, so they may be more durable, but I haven't had problems with this.

At full/normal length, the strap drop is about 56cm. When shortened like I showed in the video, it becomes approximately 46cm. Thanks for your comment! I should include things like that in the future 😊

I wouldn't recommend it as a daily bag. I have taken it on casual errands, but now I mostly use it for dinners out and special occasions.
