I am not sure if I highlighted everything, but I will defer to you and hold my head high. Thank you for taking a look!

Loved all the ferns along the trail. I've never done this hike before but looks like a good one. Very neat old stone dam structure.

There's just something about stumbling upon what once was. I think that you would enjoy this thoroughly. Thanks for watching!

Nice job, Lumberjacks! That dam is very cool, and we were cheering you on to make the jump. Oh well, maybe next time. 😄 We've never heard of Six Penny Water Park, so we tried to find some vintage images from back in the day but were not successful. 🙁

@krohikinghappens500 My jumping days are over. However, you may see me hop, skip, and stumble. Six Penny information is very elusive on the the internut. Thanks for watching!

One of my favorite spots in French Creek because you rarely come across anyone else!!! Yea, the heat this summer has kept me off the trails, unfortunately... hoping for a better autumn!! Totally agree with you regarding the Florida sunshine thing 😂....just ugh...

That is a nice trek to the waterpark. What kind of waterpark was it? I imagined a place that would have big pools. Nice find with the ghost pipe. I have seen it once in the Smokies on a trail on Cades Cove. They say it grows where disputes took place, and remain unsettled, urban legend of course. We used to call water striders, water skeeters 😆

My understanding of the park is that it was on the lines of a camp that took advantage of a natural water source to create a swimming area while possibly extoling the waters healing and restoration powers. The ghost pipe would have been missed, were it not for the keen eyes of Mrs. Lumberjack. Thank you for watching and supporting us.

At 2:32 those look like "flowering raspberries", delicious. At 17:05 we called that Indian pipe. Enjoy your summer while it lasts.

About 2 months ago there was a film crew there filming an HBO show. They were down near the guardrail over six Penny and all over, the probably cleaned it up for that. My understanding is that it was a day use area like Hopewell but it was closed because geese contaminated it.

It closed in the 70’s. I have friends from Birdsboro who spent their teenage years there
