@@jeffhildreth9244 Its looks very close ..May be reeds have been changed ..and also keyboard improved at the moment he is not playing the four voices . Any way ...not the price of a Marc Savoy ..melodeon 😇
Sorry lad, not a Hohner at all. Tab type corner brackets and other hardware are very different. This melodeon is bigger than the h114 that is Hohner’s 4 stop model. I played that model of Hohner for years, before i could afford a custom box like this. Current price for the Hohner h114 is about $800 and for a top grade instrument like this is about $4000.00. And worth every penny! As i well know.
@@johnmc3862 I've heard Joe Burke, who was a very great artist. But a really good melodeon player has a rhythmic drive that players on chromatic boxes can't match.
Melodeon is thé best for step dancing but unfortunely there is a lot of great Irish tunes you cant play on a 10 buttoms melodeon mainly in G Key To add a natural C on a D melodeon is a major improvment
I always loved Irish Traditional Music played on the melodeon. It's a special sound.
Fabulous talented musician...he has the Clare style & lovely tempo..Thanks a bunch for the post
Couldn't agree more!
That's great, fluent and confident.
Very proud cousins from Boston. Up the Banner
One of the better musicians on U Tube !
Fantastic & on a one row as well, lovely stained glass backdrop too.
Impressive! So much talent. I'm in complete awe of how similar the sound is to the Cajun accordion. Love it!
Miles apart.
Absolutely beautiful, wonderful talent.
A wonderful reminder that The Wind Shakes is in a class by itself for melody. Thank you.
Do you the names ?

Lovely touch.....
Lovely work!!!
Lovely music, young fella!
Contagious!
Up goes me, into the other room.
Out comes the bodhrán, and I'm playing right along!
Short but sweet. Sure got my day going! :D
Have you ever tried the spoons? 😀
@@clarebannerman
Yes, I have!
I do prefer the bones, though. : )
Great great music ...
I love the repainted honner

Not a Hohner though it looks like a repro owing to the bass flaps.

I would rather hear Irish music played on a melodeon than on a B/C box.
You need to hear Joe Burke then 😅

Both the melodeon and the B/C box are better suited for Irish music than the piano accordion.
@@jacquesbrouyer8687 Or, get a C box.
