Respected viewer, The matrix minima method is also known as least cost entry method. Kindly check the following video link. ua-cam.com/video/f3nItOPywPU/v-deo.html For more lectures on transportation problem kindly follow the below playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLep340oM2dkAn_Qn46ahTqnBbbtrGH65s.html
St last there is 40 60 in row if we subtract least two numbers than we get 20 In column we get the same numbers 40 and 60 then we should take the highest number 60 But why you took without subtracting the two least numbers madam
If they are same then you must check for the minimum value in the corresponding row and column of the matrix and allocate for the cell with the minimum value.
My prof. in college said when both a row and column are needed to be striked out because they result to a zero after the subtraction, we choose just one to strike out and leave the other, is this correct?
Nice explanation. Now, I'm ready to take my final exam!!!
All the best
Hi. What is the name of your school and do you decide when you take your final exams?
Great work
I would like to thanks for you , your explanation is clear and helps to know how to solve transportation problems by using this method.
Most welcome. Very happy to know
Super mam step by step total problem easy to exaplantion problem very nice mam
Super mam gud teaching 🎉😊
Thank you very much
I couldn't understand before you
Your explanations is really wounderful

Thank you
Mam very nice explanation
Thank you
Nice Guidances mam 👌
Happy to know
TQ mam it's helpful a lot
Welcome
Thank you so much mam this sooo easy to understand 🙏
Most welcome
Pls how do I solve stepping stone method of VAM
Excuse me maam how do We get (m+n-1=6)#3+4-1,Could you please explain me?🤔
Thank you 😊 very much
Most welcome
Two least are 30 and 30 so 0 should come the difference??
3:39
❤️
Mam can VAM (Vogels approximation method) and LCM (least cost method) have the same answer ?
Yeah sometimes may be.
But VAM gives the most appropriate and best solution.
Thank you very much mam 😊
Most welcome
Thank you so much mam
Welcome

If the supply and demand are same so can we cross the row as well as the column?
Yes. After allocation of the respective value you can do so
@@hameedamathtuber thank you mam
@@dibyanshumahapatra welcome
hello finally i got it with vogel method , total cost = 789
St last there is 40 60 in row if we subtract least two numbers than we get 20
In column we get the same numbers 40 and 60 then we should take the highest number 60
But why you took without subtracting the two least numbers madam
We can do like that when we are left out with 2 cells finally. We can select the least out of the two and we can allocate.
Mam which pen did you use in the video, could you please share its name?
Pentel Energel.👍
Thnkuuu 😍😍😍😍
Welcome 👍
In the last one y subtraction of row bcz we taken column right
I have the same question too!
U ARE NICE MAN N.B
what if the raw or the colon penalties are the same
If they are same then you must check for the minimum value in the corresponding row and column of the matrix and allocate for the cell with the minimum value.
Thank u
Welcome
Mam what we have to do, if two same number penalties came . Then which penalty should be choosen
This is not an optimal solution. This is only an initial feasible solution.
Very clear explanation
Thank you
What are m and n values mam
m represents number of rows and
n represents number of columns
Mam need un balanced vogels method
Unbalanced
Thank you madam
Welcome
Is there a mistake when you struck off the row instead of the column?? When we did D4 allocation?
Exactly there is a mistake
It's correct, she was supposed to strike the row.
I noticed too, the highest diff was in the column, so the column should be struck off not the row
My prof. in college said when both a row and column are needed to be striked out because they result to a zero after the subtraction, we choose just one to strike out and leave the other, is this correct?
