I'm A Loser - Acoustic 12-Str, Tennessean, Bass, Drums & Harmonica Cover - Reproduction

- I'm A Loser covered on a Dorado 12-String Acoustic in place of the Framus, Gretsch Tennessean, Ludwig Drum Kit, a Chromatic Harmonica, and a Carlo Robelli bass in place of the Hofner. I did use a Hofner signed by Paul McCartney himself a year prior to this video. Recently more isolated tracks have been appearing online using AI technology. The bass for this song appeared and I wanted to make amendments on my transcription. I thought it was cool the bass was signed by Paul so I still wanted it to be a part of the video and used it for a small section near the end.
Andrew Bockelman - Guitars, Bass, Harmonica, Tambourine, Mix & Video

Glad Isaiah recommended you do one with the 12 string. Now it’s 100% perfect! Well done guys
Amazing!! Keep please!! Hope to see songs of Revolver, Let It Be, Magical mystery tour, Abbey Road and more!! Thanks
Lennon definitely used the Framus Hootenanny on this tune!
Being able to see and hear each instrument individually, I now have sooo much more appretiation for the Beatles and their music, as it stands, I've been a Beatle-aholic for a few decades, and For putting together their own arragements at such a young age, and their peers still performing covers from other musicians is absolutely mind boggling, absolute Genius'.
When I was 18 19,20, 21 years of age I was still futsing around with career choices, The Beatles,at those ages, were conquering The World!!!..✌️🤣👍
That 12 string looks and sounds very similar to the framus John used! Great job!
Thanks, I added the tail piece which helps sell the look!
@@AblyHouse I didn't know you _could_ add a tailpiece to an acoustic guitar!
1) Does the guitar sound or feel any different with the tailpiece on?
2) Would you recommend it?
Thanks in advance; fantastic cover!
@@lucianhartt3123 It's similar to the original tailpiece that came with it actually. One of the two metal side bars snapped so I had to buy a new one.
Not everything you buy will fit perfectly so it might be better to have a professional do it. This guitar was only around $100 so its not worth taking it in
I've always loved the walking bass on the chorus. Plus the harmonic and Harrison guitar solo. The vocals are great too ( on the original (🙂)
Wonderful thanks for their picture. I love those drums. And rhe song is amazing. Thanks for the tribute.😊
I'm very grateful you guys are back can't wait for you all to do more beatles covers
Not many Beatles songs featured the harmonica, but when they did use it, it always sounded great and fit in perfectly.
That song didn't last long enough for me! They Rocked That Song!
Aw man, a new vid! Excellent stuff! So much love to this music! You'd do the guys proud.
I definitely prefer this version with the 12 string added. Sounds fuller and closer to the original.. Excellent job.
Fantastic!!!. I missed subtitle lyrics of the song, but nice video. Excellent job!
Yay very awesome of you to redo.
Thanks for pointing it out!
Been waiting for this!! Excellent!
Great stuff as usual, the shimmer of a 12 string just adds to the magic!
It is simply amazing to me how much care the Beatles took with *every* song they recorded. Every one was a masterpiece...the product of 100% effort on the part of the boys and George M. It is also amazing to me how much care you guys put into recreating these incredible songs. You guys are top-notch! We might not say it often enough, but we appreciate the effort y'all make.
outstanding...!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys should do a guitar collection video, if you can round up all of them, would love to see the whole shebang
Great!!!
Great man, can you do Maxwell silver hammer?
Great redo Andrew 👍🏻🤘
What is the secret of simple melodies? Probably the secret lies in their complexity.
GooD)))))))
Great stuff. I never thought about that beginning on guitar, and as a guitarist, I am embarrassed.
Hold on - is that Hofner bass signed by Macca?!!
Well done chaps, love the sound very impressed. Trying to get these tones I was thinking about getting a jhs colourbox v2. What outboard are you guys running through these days?
I recorded a DI to the Tennessean and then reamped that signal through a Vox AC30. I use a Shadow Hills Preamp on pretty much everything. I also used the Redd17 plugin. For a live setting, the colourbox should be great!
This fascinates me. Did John really use a 12 string? I always thought that the lowkey bright sounding guitar for the rhythm track was because of added EQ, and ofc since it was the distinct sound of the J160E.
If you listen to the outtakes you can hear John playing single notes between a couple takes. Even then, it’s hard to tell. I’m not 100% convinced, but convinced enough that I wanted to try it. When I EQ’d the 12-string, I still had to add a lot in the 6k range
Awesome as usual.
Impressive!!!
👏💯
Bravo❤
still waitin for the ballad of john and yoko to be finished
We need Lady Madonna next 🙏 But still mad respect for you guys
Umm, that was perfect.
Why don't you do covers of songs from magical mystery tour starting with the title track
Ably House - nice job.
. What is the meaning of 'Ably?' I know what a house is.
. Do you put something over Paul's autograph (is there something?) to protect it from rubbing off. 'Afix' it to the bass?
The signature is raw and unprotected. I made sure not to touch it when playing!
Ably House is the name of a haunted house where we grew up. A place we used to play around after band practice. I realized it was a catchy phrase and would be above AC/DC and Beatles in peoples iPods. The same way that people no longer think bugs when they hear ‘Beatles’, the name is meaningless and becomes it’s own thing to each person
Good job guys do you good videos of the Beatles or will you want Paul McCartney please
Please do “another girl”
is from Beatles rock band
If I may suggest - Sgt. Peppers would be nice to hear! At least, only the first two numbers (and the reprise version at the end).
Could be the next Yer blues??
George uses double guitar
I always had a feeling there was a 12-string on this one.
Great video nice cover just wondering why nile hasent been playing bass in the latest videos
Where is Neil?!?
Not sure, keep a look out. He's on tour in a red and white striped shirt, blue jeans and a bobbled hat
Where did you get the 12 string. I’d like to get one 😂
Guitar Center. It was used for around $100. I got the floating bridge online
@@AblyHouse That was quick 😳 Anyways, thanks 😁
Could you do Maxwell's Silver Hammer next?
Great. Baby’s in Black next?
Can you do a tutorial for the harmonica? Thanks ❤️
Helter Skelter!!
whereisAdayinalife?
Does Paul actually use two separate basses on this track?
No
Alright
@@avYhzhe was showing us the cool signed macca bass he had at the time:)
Is that bass actually signed by Paul?!
Yes, the owner brought it to a concert in the 80s or 90s and got it signed!
@@AblyHouse that is AWESOME!!
What key is the harmonica?
Chromatic C
do withn without you please
What happened to Neil?
according to andrew he is taking a break from this music stuff and brandon recorded all of the the beatles for sale songs like a year ago or so, and now andrew is just finishing them
also neil recorded the bass for some other songs too
bummer
@IX XI Files u r right! i saw them last February, i fully recommend it:)
@@Edreinadar I believe he is doing a 6 month tour out of the country and that’s just one of his many gigs/bands. Neil is welcome back if/when he frees up
You gonna lose that girl please
