Thanks for Zeeee content! I sincerely appreciate the breakdown of character skills and possible combos! I will probably pull for Ludovic simply to have a graveborn healer! It took 3+ years for Graveborn to get a healer in Afk Arena, so I am happy about that! I will work on Ulmus in the standard banner for sure. Keep up the good work and have a great day! ✌️
I really can’t make the bet. I didn’t think the tree was good but liked the design. Later I saw so many good feedbacks and tried my friend’s tree so I pulled the him and turned out to be awesome. I anticipated Talene to be awesome and ready to build her all the way up, later i saw the whales comment on her being not as hyped. So it’s really hard to make the bet. I’m definitely going to get Ludvic cuz I love love the design. But I don’t anticipate him to be one of the top healers since he’s too focused on dealing damage but not buffing his teammates. And talking about dealing damage, he’s not going to be as powerful as Smokey (also no buff on teammates).
To be fair, for F2P and light spenders A tier heroes are so much easier to get than S tier, thanks to dream realm, that going all in on an A tier hero is questionable. Also while yes, Ulmus is great in Eironn comps, how much better is he than the alternatives: Granny and Thoran? Unless he's a significant improvement there's no point to go all in on him Imho. As for Ludovic, right now we just don't know, but I'd say it's a much safer bet anyway just because he's a S tier hero rather than A. But whether he's actually worth it or is another skip is entirely unknown at this point, so a skip for now is the best stance.
I think ulmus is significantly better than the other tanks at breaking serve vs other Eironn comps. It helps you get more damage out than the enemy team because you CC them for longer
@@d4ncedemon326 Perhaps, though I think Granny brings comparable CC to the table and better tankiness. In any case you have to remember that Eironn comps aren't just used for PvP but also PvE, Dura's Trials, Battle Drills, etc. Basically anything that isn't dream realm has some use for Eironn teams in 1 way or another.
@@Owlr4ider well if you're looking at other game modes, I would say granny's only real use is for AFK stages. For battle drills, you add another damage to your Eironn comp instead of a tank. For Dura's trials you basically have to use the bonus heroes anyway for the extra stats. For Tower, she might be better but it's not that important of a game mode, same with Labyrinth
@@d4ncedemon326 Yeah but as a wilder S tier hero, after you max out your Eironn you have Florabelle as the next highest priority and than what? Bryon is the lowest priority which leaves Hewynn and Granny, both very good for different reasons. You can also get both of them from the arena store. Basically what I'm saying is that you pretty much want to get Granny anyway as part of your natural progression. Going all in on Ulmus means you're spending all your rate up tickets and probably a bunch of diamonds too for a hero you already have an alternative to. The difference between what Ulmus brings and what Granny brings, or Thoran for that matter(other than wilder tower, which isn't all that important) who is a much higher priority due to dream realm, is so minimal that it's just not worth it Imho. Whether Ludovic is it or not is a different question, though Ludovic is the only Graveborn healer so he has a very strong niche right off the bat regardless of how strong/weak he turns out to be.

I have very bad Wilder luck. Only Eironn is at Mythic the rest are legendary. I dont think ulmus will help me hahaha. Ludovic looks decent. Will wait for Ludovic tests. I mainly focus on realm bosses since I like big numbers go up. And I think that the game will eventually put the other A heroes in the realm stores so I'll just buy him there.

When I started playing Vala was the rate up and since then I’ve been WAITING for a graveborn hero. I’m dropping all 118 tickets I’ve been saving on my boy Ludy 😂. I don’t even care if he ends up being good. I just hope luck is on my side and I don’t go to pity each time 😅

Personally, I believe healing is the most important job of a healer. His kit seems designed to counter eironn burst. Im going to be running him with Niru, Salazar, and Viperion. I haven't decided on my 5th yet. Maybe I'll take advantage of Cecia's rooting skill to counter rogues. With a constant source of healing, Thoran might not feel like a paper tiger anymore.
Salazar can finally shine too. He has a 9.5 second stun (with skill charms) that activates automatically when enemies drop below 70% hp. He is basically an eironn combo all by himself.
@justifiably_stupid4998 hey so I played the og game AFK Arena for 4 yrs and based on that, heroes that just heal are really bad cuz the game constantly made heroes that healed but also did alot more like cc, dmg or buff/debuff. Ever since releasing these type of healers, heroes that just heal are bad value and afk arena eventually stopped making heroes that JUST heal. AFK Journey will be no different since it follows the same formula and format imo
I accidentally got Ulmus in rate up a week ago when I clicked too fast in the banner and I was shocked that even at Epic, he was tanking like a Champ in Tower when I tested. Better than my Legendary Granny. Decided to pull one more time to make him beefier. Will def add him to Wishlist to build him up. Not an exciting character to have but very useable.
I'm gonna pull on ludovic then slowly build ulmus through pulls and dream realm shop
I don't have granny built so I went with Ulmus and have moved up 20 spots in arena, top 30 now woohoo! Even though it's all eironn teams, but my control is better thanks to ulmus.

In general I think I would be going for Ulmus but because I still do not have Smokey M+ (80 days in now) I am gonna lean towards Ludo.
I got my Ulmus up to M+, I can build him up the rest of the way later. Probably pulling for Ludo
I would say he significantly improves the team. You are able to get the 4 faction bonus instead of 3 or 3/2. In addition his damage is at the same time as Alsa and eironn instead of after the burst ended (thoran) and the 2 seconds makes a huge difference surprisingly. So much so that my server can only counter ulmus by running enlightening now.
Do you guys think it's worth to spend diamonds to get Ulmus? Mine is Mythic (i think) I'm waiting him to go to normal banner to start to pull him.
I want Carolina and The mauler mage to mythic+ and I have both at M.
He will have to outperform demian if he want get inside meta, else no chance considering demian can infinitely self revive 🙃.
I always though that Ulmus was a big skip until this video, which make me decide to go all out on him. Had a eiron comp but I was not able to push into champion tier in pvp. This decision was the best for my account. I was finally able to win this week the challenge match to enter the champion tier!

Or even ludo with cecia or with flora adds, going to be intressting.
I will say the tree grew on me. Still there's a limit to how much I want to spend on an A-tier especially with the other units coming out, so I rather finish him long-term than invest everything in his banner. And I really want Ludovic even if he's not meta.

No not “The best” hypo-cele just outstat them so the burst doesn’t do anything xD but otherwise it’s one of the best comps.
Also in defence it happens that ulmus left alone with damian wins against complete eiron team like 1vs4, I saw 1vs5. Lol

Leaning towards pass. I don't think his pvp viability is going to be very high thanks to Eironn teams being everywhere, and I'm doubtful that he'll outperform Smokey in DR.
What I really want is a hero that really shakes up the pvp meta, and that means a Mauler or Lightbearer. So I'm holding out hope for Sonja and Mikola.
+Tasi is on the way and we still don't have an S rank Wilder Mage and a Magical Frontliner, Eironn teams still have room to improve. Ludovic seems good, is just that Wilders are everywhere and really oppressive.
Quite curious about Mikola and the Celestial Support.
