This season felt like a trailer for season 3
Blame WBD, they forced the show runners to cut two episodes for money reasons. So battles will be next season. I liked what we got.
How old are you?? Are you young?? Its just being over 40 helps me see just how bad cinema and TV have gotten..House of the dragon overall has been ok, with some excellent episodes...Awful finale though...But in general tv is dog shite nowadays

This definitely feels like it should have been a 10 episode season, if this was episode 8 of a 10 episode season then it would be fine as a regular episode.
So many episodes of this season feel the exact same as one another. Coryls on the port, Rhanerya doesn't want war, Daemon tripping balls etc. There's so many of the same scenes in multiple episodes. S1 ended with 'oh shit war is coming' and this season ends with 'oh shit war is coming.' Outside of episode 4 so little of actual consequence happens this season.
Now wait 2 more years for actual parts to start moving.
Yea, WB made them cut two episodes for cost reasons. Sucks. We probably would have gotten battle if the gullet in episode 9.

I saw that the episode was 1hr 20min and got so hyped. Low and behold we got some cringy gender swapped Lohar scenes, a bunch of boring talking, women crying about the war they started, then the episode suddenly ended because the last 10-20 min was bts. I thought we were going to get the battle of the gods eye this episode! wtf!!

They're going to struggle fitting the rest of the book into 2 seasons now. Going to need more than 4 seasons, they barely covered half a chapter this season.

@crawdaddct it is garbage, they show dragged hard, assassinated the main character arcs and dynamics, ruined the whole.of team green (there is no team Green anymore) gave us a bunch of Deamon filler and Rhaenyra having the same council meetings with the same conversations. The show dropped the ball hard
