It is 90 percent the same. Why not upgrade both video boards on the inside. The ones outside are bigger. The main concourse could use a massive change. One end zone is barely changing at all.
It’s crazy to think … the impact of burrow / chase/ Higgins Hendrickson ect… all the recent players and success (SB) afc Champions… the effect they have had on a franchise. .. a city … now a complete stadium makeover It’s awesome. Something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime WHO Dey !
@@ssaepa1 They may as well just get a new stadium for that amount, they're going to eventually need to make a new stadium anyways; they may as well save that billion and put it towards a new stadium and not upgrades
So 1.2 billion and barely changing the stadium. They're upgrading only one video board on the inside while putting even bigger ones on the outside. Seems like most of the money is going towards the new practice facility. Which most teams pay for themselves. Does anyone ever judge the renderings?
I kind of thought they just got a $300M upgrade? I would like to see an itemized list at this price point... you could add a roof at this price point.. it does look extensive to the west of the stadium.. but still seems pricey.
Agreed! I heard Brazil is looking to expand into the NFL. Brazil Bengals has a nice ring to it. I've paid enough tax dollars for stadiums in CIncinnati.
I hope they figure out it needs to be a dome. It will be better for Burrow and the offense, better for the city to use in other events, better for older fans where it's harder to battle the weather, better for Money Mack and the ST's. All the other trinkets are ok... keeping the 2 outside practice fields with a permanent indoor practice facility is a great investment. You want to get use out of it all year around and not just 1/2 or 3/4 of the year.
got to do something down there. Pittsburgh looks like a damn museum carnival, clown midgets on unicycles juggling 6 superbowl trophies, rock concert glass box showcase full of excellence,......Cinci is block walls of concrete and tvs
A stadium paid by 90% taxpayers in Hamilton County so a fossil owner who was gifted daddy's millions can still enjoy the taste of a sliver spoon in his mouth. The Bengals were established in 1968 with no Superbowl wins. I hope it fails and they leave the state
These guys are bilking your county and region with taxpayer money if they are a.legit business they shouldn't need govt subsidy what is this - corporate SOCIALISM I thought ohioans hate that shit
🤣 Hamilton County Citizens Stadium 🏟. Mike is going to need your taxes to increase ( to help out ) I'd be highly upset. Might want to win a super bowl 😅. Let him and paycor cover it. Geez, and pathetic.
The green space is nice, but the stadium is 90% the same. Not worth 1.2 billion IMO. Get a dome or more seating+ the green space

They have to connect the top levels. If you go up the wrong side, it’s rough

How much will it cost the taxpayers?
😂 $1.2 Billion for flat screen TV’s and upgraded millionaire break rooms? Yeah, this is definitely for the “average” fans lmao😂😂😂
Paid for mainly by the tax payers

Uhh Let’s win a game first before we go off showing ads on a billion dollar stadium upgrade
That part
This has been planned for a while. It was coming out regardless of the team’s performance
Y’all be negative for no reason.

Screwing another generation
We need this and we need to capitalize on the Columbus economic boom

Can't imagine how much the ticket prices will be to see them fall short of many superbowl runs.
Naw. Spending most of the cost of a decent stadium to put a little spit shine on a dump of a stadium isn't good value. Won't be getting my vote.
Welp...i guess Chase ain't getting paid ..
He'll get paid next year 🎉
This isn’t coming out of the owner’s pockets. We’re paying for it
Good. He's a child bum
They offered that child a record setting contract and he declined it.
