I'm considering making my art into prints for Christmas gifts, which I felt would be a good to test out some of these. I will totally use your link, but I have a couple questions. What kind of paper did you choose? Matte, gloss, etc. What size did you choose? How do you make sure the colors work on the printer? Do you design in CMYK? Sorry for the barrage of questions!
Cricket G. No worries! Happy to answer them! I always get Extra Heavy Cardstock Satin. You can request a free sample book if you want to feel all the paper! The link one is 8x10. I feel like it’s a pretty common size for frames and a decent size so that’s why I chose it. I didn’t adjust the colors for cymk but they’ve always turned out beautifully! They’ll send you free hard copy proofs and they’ll correct any errors you see in the proof!
Really nice prints! I am a little concerned about the Kiki's square, I thought it was a landscape format? It looks to cropped! I am sure the Link and Zelda prints will sell out and you will have to restock! I hope you relax and enjoy your show experience, you only get 1 first time! Good Luck, Good Show!!
mjpete27 thanks! The original Kiki one I did in 2018 was a square so I kept the same format. I do agree that it would look better as a landscape! I wasn’t originally planning on making it into a print but I had a couple people say they were interested! I’m so excited for the show! I’ve been wanting to do one for a long time now!
erikathegoober I do apologize I was not disparaging you or the print! I was just remembering it differently, I bet it was the old/new comparison that I was remembering, I really enjoyed seeing both! I am sure you will have a wonderful time with it at the show!

How did decide what paper
I requested a free paper sample pack from them! They send you a little booklet with business card sized samples to let you preview the paper!
