Hi! I'm a hs senior and got accepted to washu this fall. I'm torn between there and another school so watching your video really helps a lot. I'm an international from South Korea and it's great to hear that you'll be coming here in the winter! Hope you have a great time :)

good luck! Def say hi next year if you join :)
Would love a video about things to do off campus, safety, etc! Great video :)
also you keep BUSY I admire you!
@@eyelah aha it's a lot to manage sometimes, but I love everything I do! Safety on-campus is great -- I've never felt unsafe even when walking at night. Off-campus, you have to be more careful, especially depending what neighborhood you go to. Daytime is usually fine, but at night, def be in a group or not out.
St Louis has a GREAT restaurant scene - so usually every weekend I'll eat off campus with some friends! I also love running/walking in Forest Park. There are free museums and a zoo. Lastly, St Louis has 3 professional sports teams: Blues Hockey, Cardinals baseball, and City SC soccer. The games are fun.
hope this helped! maybe I'll do a full video more weekend/leisure themed :)

I got into WashU 😊, I had a question, how many courses do you do outside your major, and which is the best course you have taken till now.
And I am also an international student from India, so does WashU has vegetarian and Indian food.
hey congratulations!! In Arts & Sciences, you have lots of flexibility to take classes outside your major. For the other schools (Olin, McKelvey, Sam Fox), there is less flexibility, but you should still be able to take 1-2 other classes per semester. For courses, some of my favorites have been: MEC 290 (Intro to Microeconomics), MKT 370 (Intro to Marketing), MEC 470 (Game Theory econ), and Intro to Fiction Writing. I've also learned TONS from joining clubs, extracurriculars, speaker events, etc.
As for food, WashU usually has 2-3 vegetarian options. Not super common, but you can definitely find them :)
I visited my freshman daughter last month and I think we saw you riding your bike. Do you ride a white bike?
Ha ha. Watched the video. That WAS you! I was like, That’s Jamie! I wanted to say/yell “hi Jamie!” but my daughter wasn’t having it. lol
Haha that's so funny, how did you guys enjoy campus?
@@JamieNicholson Amazing! It’s so Beverly Hills boujee.
