Indians integrate very well in EU. They don't demand separate law. Don't interfere with local policy and laws and respect them.
Crimes among Indians are almost non-existent. Celebrate German festival and culture. If they don't like something they simply don't engage with it. And pay their taxes and do community services.

What is happening in Germany with the Indian community is totally normal. The Indians coming here are, still, few of them and in general well educated, so you can expect easy integration. However, when the regulations ease more, more people with different backgrounds will arrive and therefore you will likely see more often some acts that are not tolerated here in Germany.

Indian men are highly stereotyped in the dating scene and are always in the lowest hierarchy of preference by women here. If finding someone for life is more important than having a career abroad then I would say you'll have a tough time here. I have asked lots of my Indian friends and acquaintances here and everyone has the same opinion. I am not saying Indians don't find love here but if you see the statistics it's very low compared to other ethnicities and most probably you'll have a lonely love life here.

When Zorastrians came to Indian shores escaping the persecution from Persia, the local Indian King asked them how can I accomodate you, there are already too many people in my kingdom and they have everything they need. To make this point he brought a glass full of milk and said there is very little place left. The head of the Zorastrian community added sugar in milk and said - We will dissolve like sugar in milk without spilling and yet making it even more sweeter hence we will enrich your kingdom and people and not causing any trouble. For me that is the gold standard of how the emigration should work. New people in new land should act like sugar in milk enriching that society as well. They should not become like a oil, floating on top maintaining a distance and segregation from people of their newly adopted country. These Indians are going to enrich Germany!!!

Well, I'm from a minority in India. I'm Jain, only 0.4% of India, yet our community contributes around 24% of India's GDP. So, people who are saying that Indians show bias against minorities and prosecute them, we Jains are the biggest example of our Indian diversity and proof that even existing in this small number with different beliefs-because of our Indian society-we're thriving and showing other minorities to stop doing drama and start contributing in reality. It’s easy to blame but hard to achieve. Point to a Jain in India who is in terrible condition or poor, and yet we exist in such a small number.

In fact, I feel people should stay back and not run away from the problems here.
The Germans didn’t flee their country after the wars, they rebuilt it. We should do that as well.
But would also point out that Indians in Germany are a highly skilled group of immigrants and Germans should rather be thankful that they are contributing and supporting their economy. I don't think us Indians really know exactly what 'integrating into a foreign culture' means. It doesn't mean just learn the language, respect local laws, then keep having your native food, keep celebrating your native culture and keep holding events with other Indians, as this video seem to suggest. That's just you doing the bare basic minimum necessity to function, not get into legal trouble and retaining your native culture. You have to go out of your way to do all of that in the local culture to claim to assimilate. You have to go get involved with culturally German activities. Trying to learn their art, dances, singing, cooking and actually practicing it and being involved in those cultural communities. You don't assimilate into foreign culture by inviting them to your festivals, you assimilate by participating and celebrating in their festivals. Appreciating our own culture and inviting them to appreciate our culture is not what we call assimilation.

This video was not about how are they assimilating into the German Culture. This was really about them making a home away from their Native country. Indians really do participate in German festivals and activities. Christmas is celebrated everywhere. Everyone waits for the markets to open up. So yeah, Indians really do assimilate. Also don't forget Germans are notoriously not easy to become close friends with. The only hurdle is actually language, and if anyone is learning the language well, there is really no issue.

@@geisha-12Stop lying. Even more than 100 years later, immigrants from other states of India haven't integrated in Goa. Wait till their numbers increase and their younger generations show up. Then they'll interfere with Germans just like they interfere with Goans.

The only Indian trait that's left in them is their skin & look.
I have experienced it personally with most indians. But I am happy that there are these people who cherish their culture.

Doesn’t Germany prefer migrants from Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan as the people of these countries are similar to that of Germans?

Yes Germany takes in Syria & Afghanistan since both are worn torn countries. As for Pakistanis they barely go to Germany because they prefer English speaking countries like USA,UK,Canada & Australia.

There is a big difference between the refugees and immigrants. Refugees were due to colonial times and recently US wars. EU ended cleaning up Americas mess out of kindness. In return, they got jihadis.
Indians are very different nature. Please don’t confuse.

@@arbaz79There large numbers of Pakistani here. Many Pakistani learn the language and come to Germany for Masters or for work. We have so many who have been here for over 40 years now. Mostly doing businesses. Few Ahmadiya Refugees and few economic Refugees too.
Not everyone can afford going to the US or get into an American university. So Germany is a popular destination among non Europeans

Berliners do welcome Indians(mostly medical students who are polite, friendly, and adaptable to German way of living. Finally it is a great plus for locals.I sincerely hope that a few will make efforts learn German instead of expecting locals to speak English all the time.
This new generation of Indians are totally different from Punjabis emigrated in 50's to 90's in U.K.

This is a common fault of us Indians, 1) we fake smartness when we more out of the country. This guy is an epitome of fakeness. 2) we always berate our home in India to justify why we are where we are. I share the same hometown with him.
