Tfs! Your locs are beautiful. Do you retwist? If so, how often and do you do a full, tight retwist?
I'm 3 months in with about 75 locs. I haven't done a real retwist and am hoping not to. I have medium or so density with fine strands that compact tightly, and I want thick locs. I do wrap loose hairs at the base, but haven't found many that do that as their primary form of maintenance. So I'm not sure how that will come out!

I usually retwist my locs every 3-6 months but currently I'm at 8 months without a retwist. However when I do retwist my locs I never do it tightly because that irritates my scalp and can lead to hair thinning out.
Like you I also wrap loose hairs at the base of my locs, I only started doing this recently because I have a lot of growth due to not retwisting my locs. The method I use I got it from this video by Holistic Flo ua-cam.com/video/NtJoa9MutBI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=HolisticFlo
