Hey bud! Linked to your channel in my latest video regarding the concept art association and all of the good work you have been doing getting the word out about the dangers of AI Art with regards to its unchecked proliferation. Thank you for being an advocate for those who lack the microphone to advocate for themselves.

I love listening to your story. It actually pains me a little bit, knowing if I had gotten real encouragement, I could have been more.

Wow thanks for coming on Steven. I must admit I hadn't come across you before on the internet but while listening to this I subscribed to your socials straight away. Amazing artwork and I love that you've made a successful youtube channel without having to 'tutorialize' everything. I've been slow at getting my YT channel going because I was procrastinating about the chore of making standard tutorials. I have a lot of fresh thoughts to mull over after listening to this. Thanks

Bruh, people who just type prompts are calling themselves "artist" and think that they are talented 🤦‍♂️.

Let's be clear and accurate, AI art is Machine Learning... It's not really AI and its nowhere near sentient or conscious.

Its had to replicate something we still know little about. Complexity and scale does not necessarily men it think like a human.

I just hope the whole "AI Art" scene is moving in it´s own separate corner of click, like and throw away. (Next iteration of crypto, NFT hype) My greatest fear is the abolishing of copyright for individual artist. For young artist, I can say there is still a lot of jobs open and needed in games, movies and other digital content.

I feared that copyright can only be forced with corpo behind you, while the individual are just free for all. Though history will show it, if enough poeple care about it, the law will catch up for the better.

You say at about 1:28:00 that the AI image generators work by "raking" data from the internet and spitting it back at you. This is inaccurate: AI image generation is _not_ a search engine, it does _not_ compile, it does _not_ photo-bash, it is a program that is capable of filling in the gaps present in an image.

Your father is up there proud of you smiling. I can’t imagine what that is like, I grew up upper middle class, didn’t want for anything, also from NY - but I can emphasize and I know in my bones if he was here today he would be proud!

Not a single second of this video was boring, you both have such interesting things to talk about! I feel like listening to this has been a meditative experience in itself. I got so sucked in I completely forgot the rest of the world 💜

Aw this was such a good episode. Especially near the end when Steven gave some great advice for artists and just ppl in general. “Trusting yourself” Steven seems like such a sweet and intelligent person. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing your stories! I’ll def remember key moments in this episode going forward.
