I think I figured out why this place is called GoTo Mall. GoTŏ is the old abbreviation of Gosek (Express) Bus Terminal. The McCune-Reischauer romanization used ridiculous marks over the letters, so rather than GoTeo in today's romanization, it was GoTŏ, but they dropped the breve over the o. Thankfully, the Korean government got rid of those stupid things in 2000.
