You can write a good villain character for an object show. They just need to have motivations for such villainy. I would say Snowball and Blocky are much better written for that murderous triat because one, Snowball wants to look strong and tough, and two, Blocky is a prankster. Those are reasons. Pillow is just written as a psychopath for no pariticular reason, and is so over the top and predictable. Yet, people absolutely love her for being quirky or something. I don't get it.
i like that shes evil for no reason the way shes kinda low key psychopathic and just super odd is appealing to me lol i think thats kind of the point. its supposed to be funny that shes super evil for no reason at all. its her schtick. theres a lot of characters in cartoons with that schtick

Idk why she suddenly got so popular in the first place. Everyone thought she’d be out first on Just Not, but all of a sudden in TPOT 4 everyone decides she’s the best character ever. She’s not my least favourite character (she used to be though), but I don’t feel like she really developed much apart from being psychopathic.

as a pillow fan, it’s really interesting to see another perspective on her character. i like her because she seems to not care about others (although it is sociopathic) but i can see why one would dislike her for that. i do agree that it feels like the writers didn’t know what to do with her (in fact lots of characters suffer from this). overall, this is a great video that analyzes pillow’s character!

She is normally my only hated object in TPOT, i love everyone except for her... i didn't expect she's got even worse in TPOT 9. I just can't wait for her to get eliminated tho- i mean i like sadistic and psychotic character but Pillow's personality in TPOT is not it, she is way more brutal like in TPOT 9 which is too much of a character. She is always smiling which is creeping me out. Her voice is 1% of the reason to like her. You could swap it out with any other character's voice and it'd still work. It's her dialogue and actions that matter
I hated her in Bfb too. I thought she was just plain annoying In Tpot tho, I love her. She improved imo and I’m glad she has a murderous personality, her not caring about other’s intrigues me because it’s kinda unusual for a character not to give a crap about others. So I personally love her and she is currently my 2nd favorite on Just Not. Iryo tho.

The writers wanted flower ti win, the vote in bfb 22 was by 1 vote, how they do it compared to this situation it was obvious. They made flower save the show. It was just stupid. Gelatin didn’t get to save the show, flower did cuz the announcer randomly gave HER the cash. Unfair as hell
Finally another Pillow hater! The arm flailing gag has always just been aggravating and mean spirited. I really wish she hadn't been the one to stop the forks in episode 4 of bfb cause if she hadn't she might have been the one eliminated instead of the character with amazing potential: Liy. Really wish their roles in that challenge were swapped. It's also extremely annoying because as you state Pillow never does this again, but its probably the main reason she survived the elimination. Seeing pillow succeed killing so much sucks because she does it so frequently to the others on her team. It becomes less of Just Not scenes and more of "we interrupt tpot to bring you: the pillow show!". Characters like Cake or Bomby who already didn't get that much to do are killed off by her, which is just really stupid. I already didn't like cake for how much of a nothing character she was and in part thanks to Pillow, that's probably all she will ever be. And then as you said, other characters on her team pretty much spend their time conflicting with her. Just Not has become a team that centers entirely around pillow half of the time and I fucking hate it. But people seem to love her for some reason. I really hope that people start to get sick of her. I kind of feel like she'd already be gone if it was still vote to eliminate. Nickel and Bomby both had way better dynamics with their old teams, and Book pretty much does nothing anymore.

I kinda miss pre-tpot 9 pillow. I'm one of the people that actually enjoyed watching her in tpot 9, but she got so much backlash that they neutered her character after it. Tpot 10 was all about "doing good deeds" which is aggressively homosexual, she didn't appear in tpot 11 and had like 3 seconds of screentime in tpot 12, and she was only mildly funny in tpot 13. As someone who’s grown to like Pillow, this is an interesting take. I do have to say a few things tho. 1. This is a theory ive heard about why Pillow is as she is now, ive seen multiple people suggest that Four’s BFB 13 screech actually damaged her mind, making her go a bit insane. This isnt confirmed but it would help explain that change. 2. I understand where you’re coming from with Nickel, but I think Bomby was able to grow in TPOT 6, and we got to see more of his character at last. 3. While i do like Pillow, mainly because of her unpredictability in TPOT 1-5, like she could literally do anything there, I’m starting to worry about her because of TPOT 6. Pillow exploding Bomby makes sense with the fun she has with tormenting others, but it’s all she did in TPOT 6, so it stopped being funny for me and more concerning, as her unpredictability is THE reason i like her so much right now i dont want that to go. I feel like in quite a few ways, pillow just gets treated as perfect, sort of? she makes a plan for the challenge in tpot 5 that's mainly selfish, kills all of her teammates, and then wins the challenge on her own. that made it so the others were completely outshown by her, meaning when elimination comes by, obviously people will vote for her to stay in. i don't mind her making nickel angry (since him being goofy isn't my favorite), but... they failed at making her just another character. i always saw pillow as a sadistic murder character since all i could think about her is saying "Did someone say killing?" and walking to Death PACT during BFB, so i never really thought about her inconsistencies. but god, she's not doing the best.
The worst part about it is, these problems could be fixed by just keeping her screen-time low, but it’s like they’re trying to make her the main fucking character
I'm so glad this video exists. I seriously don't get why people like pillow so much, and at some point she even got the most votes to stay. And in TPOT 10, Nickel, a character with good potential and actually good that is actually silly, not the "silly" that people say pillow is (she's not silly she is a fcking menace that makes her team lose everytime yet STILL survives elimination), got eliminated when it could've been PILLOW, but NOOO she stayed cuz she's "silly", give me a break. And on top of that, after Nickel got eliminated, Pillow did the most unfunny thing ever with her little "Akwaaard" segment and the laughing track, which absolutelly ruined the moment, like YOU made it akward Pillow, it would've at least felt a little better after Nickel got eliminated is she DIDN'T do that. And what he said before he got eliminated is right. Pillow HAS to get out, she literally ruins the teams that she's in and it's honestly annoying me that she's making it this far. It would be absolutelly underwhelming and unfair is she won TPOT without doing ANYTHING to help in challenges and SABOTAJING her own team which just makes it smaller and eliminates the GOOD characters instead of her cuz she has this shield that her "silliness" gives her. I will not be at peace until the day she gets eliminated. So many good characters got wasted because of her, and her little gags and NOT funny, they are annoying and they are such an annoying itch that i have to deal with watching this show i really love until she gets out. besides the things you mentioned, I don’t like her because she steals the screentime of Just Not. Just think about it, she carried already her team two episodes in a row (TPOT 5 and 6), in TPOT 2 we saw almost nothing about Book, Bomby and Nickel stacking and in TPOT 1 and 3 Just Not got barely any screentime. The only time they got a more balanced screentime was in TPOT 4, the single episode where they lost. And in her team there is Book, who could have an arc of him adapting to new people, Taggy, a newcomer and Cake, who could also have an arc about not being with Loser

Pillow exploding Bomby makes sense with the fun she has with tormenting others, but it’s all she did in TPOT 6, so it stopped being funny for me and more concerning, as her unpredictability is THE reason i like her so much right now i dont want that to go.

Hi Pin Zap! I’ve heard the screech theory before and it would explain such a drastic change. My take on Bomby could’ve been more justified I will admit, I do think he was alright in TPOT 6.

I feel like in quite a few ways, pillow just gets treated as perfect, sort of? she makes a plan for the challenge in tpot 5 that's mainly selfish, kills all of her teammates, and then wins the challenge on her own. that made it so the others were completely outshown by her, meaning when elimination comes by, obviously people will vote for her to stay in. i don't mind her making nickel angry (since him being goofy isn't my favorite), but... they failed at making her just another character.
i always saw pillow as a sadistic murder character since all i could think about her is saying "Did someone say killing?" and walking to Death PACT during BFB, so i never really thought about her inconsistencies. but god, she's not doing the best.
The worst part about it is, these problems could be fixed by just keeping her screen-time low, but it’s like they’re trying to make her the main fucking character

I'm so glad this video exists. I seriously don't get why people like pillow so much, and at some point she even got the most votes to stay. And in TPOT 10, Nickel, a character with good potential and actually good that is actually silly, not the "silly" that people say pillow is (she's not silly she is a fcking menace that makes her team lose everytime yet STILL survives elimination), got eliminated when it could've been PILLOW, but NOOO she stayed cuz she's "silly", give me a break. And on top of that, after Nickel got eliminated, Pillow did the most unfunny thing ever with her little "Akwaaard" segment and the laughing track, which absolutelly ruined the moment, like YOU made it akward Pillow, it would've at least felt a little better after Nickel got eliminated is she DIDN'T do that. And what he said before he got eliminated is right. Pillow HAS to get out, she literally ruins the teams that she's in and it's honestly annoying me that she's making it this far. It would be absolutelly underwhelming and unfair is she won TPOT without doing ANYTHING to help in challenges and SABOTAJING her own team which just makes it smaller and eliminates the GOOD characters instead of her cuz she has this shield that her "silliness" gives her. I will not be at peace until the day she gets eliminated. So many good characters got wasted because of her, and her little gags and NOT funny, they are annoying and they are such an annoying itch that i have to deal with watching this show i really love until she gets out. I'm sorry Pillow fans, but she's got to go

besides the things you mentioned, I don’t like her because she steals the screentime of Just Not. Just think about it, she carried already her team two episodes in a row (TPOT 5 and 6), in TPOT 2 we saw almost nothing about Book, Bomby and Nickel stacking and in TPOT 1 and 3 Just Not got barely any screentime. The only time they got a more balanced screentime was in TPOT 4, the single episode where they lost. And in her team there is Book, who could have an arc of him adapting to new people, Taggy, a newcomer and Cake, who could also have an arc about not being with Loser

well Pillow is my fav so i have a few things to say about your points
1. tbh the arm fluttering thing is what made me tart liking Pillow in the first place, the idea of a character spreading misinformation that everyone believes ort of reminded me of DHMIS
2. ok this is something i cant argue with, the writers were kinda mixed on what to do with Pillow
