What really struck me today, in this video, is that if *you* report a bot, like the three you saw in temple trekking, that Jagex then just does their thing and uncovers dozens/hundreds of bots that they then ban. Why cant they do that on their own? They seem to have automated systems that do these searches with very high confidence, what do they need player reports for?
It wakes up the member of staff that sleeps at the desk all day that's employed to investigate bots! 😂
It's almost as if it's in the games' interest to maintain the value of bonds by allowing a lot of bots. If bot detection was more aggressive, it wouldn't be profitable for people to bot and sell gp, and ultimately, the game's economy would tank.
@@SirAdammmmm you do understand how supply and demand works right? If they were more agressive with bot detection it would actually make it even more profitable. Prices of items would go up because of less people botting. Only the good bots (usually farms) will end up taking in all the profit. The rich get richer.

@@SirAdammmmm Here's the thing about bots, it doesn't matter how many you ban. As the detection for bots get smarter, so do the (good) bots, not the one you pay 20$ for. I'm sure they (Jagex) knows bots make up a good portion of the game, that's why IMO they don't really care as long as numbers look good to investors that's all that matters. The question is, as players, do we really even care bots make up a massive portion of the game? Botting isn't something new, it's been around for years and can't see it slowing down with all the recent advances in AI.
Not hundreds of bots, thousands. There are like 50 in every single world. Every wildy boss, every non total world. Some in craw's bow and shit gear, some in neitz/black dhide/d boots/b gloves/ursine chainmace. It's insane. Revs too are like 10x more bots, you can't kill 1 rev demon without 3-4 bots logging in trying to find a free world. It's dumb as hell.
Is the same in zulrah, the same in demonic gorillas, the same in fp2 caamdozal mines, on every world, on every tree, on every mine, on every fishing spot. The game is just bots and toxic maxed players.

Go to world 8 ferox enclave. You will find white portal full of bots and if you go deeper in the portal, you will find mains multiboxing. If you step outside the bank to the wilderness, you will find bots right outside the ferox
I can’t be the only one who thinks that jagex gets a piece of the pie right? I could possibly be projecting cuz I would 100% do the same but I’ve always had this hunch that they do
Nb4 it turns out one or more of the jmods handling the anti botting system are rogue and sell information about the code to botting sites so they can avoid detection. Or they create bot clients themselves that have measures in place to avoid detection.
Jagex isn't worth 500 million because RuneScape is a good game 😆

Can you get the anticheating team to do something about the wildy boss bots? There's almost a bot in every world at the singles bosses and items are getting cheaper and cheaper by the day.
Cant they just hop around worlds and see them and insta ban them
When rune feast comes I hope the devs can cone up with something for the bots. Ive seen bots killing dwarfs with magic and burying the bones in dwarven mines.

2:10 Ahh, that reminds me of the ridiculously large stack of glories I had collected from killing green drag bots back in the day. It was just sooo satisfying, plus the random fights you'd get from other pkers there, where I would rarely scoop up a whip and get sooo excited. It was one of those activities where I'd feel like killing green d's for their bones (I'd bank the hides too, tan them later, craft them and alch em), but every world was full of bots and I'd be annoyed then go "ok, it's time to clean this place up". Would go from annoyed to having a great time, specially since a ton of bots would just bank and come back and I'd let them fill up their invs a bit before pking them again. Slamming 30's with flames of Zammy. Ahhh, the good ol' days.
Ive been bursting at Temple Spiders and on most worlds there are bots picking up red spider eggs. Always in robes and pro melee.
He’s covered them before months ago. They’ve been around forever lol constantly get banned but they’re so easy to make I doubt it takes more than an hour.
Seems like the begging bots have moved they used to be (Years) ago around in f2p pking worlds as soon as you got a kill if it saw a rune weapon it would run up trade and ask

Sad thing about the wilderness bosses is that it was active the first couple of months but now its just being farmed by bots, the peices to make the voidwaker are crashing so much, blade is like 28m now from being 40-50 and its going to keep crashing. They should add the update what they did in rev caves so pkers can counter the bots atleast, i'm a maxed pure it's literally impossible to catch a TB on these bots inside the dens its not even worth trying cause i get beat down by the bear and they're already at the door exit so i'm already gapped if i had a chance to TB. These bots are not even killable. Coming from a pker. Atleast legitimate players get caught off guard and not being to insta tele like c'mon, its the wilderness a bot shouldn't be able to be killed and yet there crashing all the prices from great content. Make the door atleast not be across the room where you can't even reach for a TB lol did they even think before adding something like that they know their game is full of bots and their going to take advantage of these things idk that's just my opinion on this.
The dens in the multi are fine it seems fair but the singles dens are ridiculous for these bots to farm them up.
It's fucked because if they make it so killing bot is easy in these areas, it also affects players. Honestly, this game is done for. It was a nice 2k hours I spent with it, loved every second. Barely got 107cb, but the GP inflation has ramped up a lot since 2017.

@@TwistedFireX yes and no, it’s still very fun and enjoyable especially with people but they are right the prices are going down and (I don’t wanna say it’s harder to make money) but it sucks since you know a few bots will do what you do in a week, in a day, but it’s still very fun and I’d suggest keep on playing

The cannon bots could be brutal black dragon bots. Those have been pretty dead recently and they require high slayer and are ranged based
The fact that there were that many bots going uncaught doing temple trekking since it's instanced makes me shudder at the thought of how many bossing bots there must be in RS3
I'd argue that GP in rs3 is so so worthless there's less bots bossing and far more just running ed3 trash runs
I disagree. With the exchange rate between Osrs to rs3 is 1 to 8-10. There are very good money makers in rs3 that pull in over 10m an hour. I’ve seen even up to 30m. Even at 5m an hour that’s at least 500k osrs per hour giving it a comparable profit rate to bots in OSRS. It’s probably pretty bad.

@@why_wait Ed3 trash runs were nerfed into the ground a couple years ago. Bossing on the other hand can be extremely AFKable with the right gear and ability bar setup. Low to mid level bosses can be killed in sub 30 seconds with next to no player input in extreme cases. The amount of GP and item value generated per hour can be insane even with less optimised runs.

Yeah, non gim nerd is definitely just some dude in his 30's who redownloaded osrs to play with some buddies but their group was full already so he's now angrily slaying every monster across gielinor
ive seen vetion bots gain 4 combat levels overnight, they log out instantly upon entering the cave because vetion has mechanics that work well with the really cool "in-combat" system in the game
The trover's I've gotten 5x this week 1 time was a double drop it's fairly common on these greaters.
someone is also running a bodyguard service for their bots at the Elder chaos / wine spot after using burning amulet, ive been killing a couple every now and again pretty quickly after I kill a few the bots will auto-log then a random ranged account will log on and start fighting
damn, gonna be busy in the slayer cave now. Could go a few tasks between seeing a pkr. now I see one within like 30 minutes.

Please do a rev bot vid. For every section of the cave, there's 3 or 4 bots per monster type in each world. Same exact gear, same exact stats

You don't need slayer task to get Trouver parchment drop. Also jagex updated so u cna get 2 of them in a single drop last week
I scout the ferox enclave a lot. The amount of accounts with over 99 runecrafting is insane
at the time of this video, just hit the slayer caves for a total of 20mins, the second the video landed i headed there with my pure, only got 2 kills, seems like most of the botfarm was banned

Plot twist: the begging bots are actually a way that a botter is using the mule gold off his bots without looking suspicious
There was a recent Jagex update. Parchments drop 2x instead of 1x when you hit it on the table now.

There are slayer bots in the catacombs that run through the blood vends randomly and run back. It happens every 10 mins.

A lot of red spider egg collection bots in almost every uk world in forthos dungeon, been there for weeks now, low levels in monk robes.
Tip about a bot farm I've recently noticed...
There are bots killing Chaos Druids in the Chaos Druid Tower, north of Ardy. All in similar gear, with most/all I've seen using a Sara sword, bare minimum skilling stats to get into the tower (46 thieving, most other stats are very low) and mid combat stats.
Seems to be a bot on almost every world at the minute
its so funny that they all decide to use the classic obby cape poster bot setup
Bots at chaos altar constantly almost maxed accounts, and ore bots deep wild at ice spiders and ice knights
Found a bunch of bots at fossil island wyverns. All wearing d legs and obsidian top - guessing they might be farming for a vissy but super unusual

Trouver parchment drops 2 at a time, not one. So if you get the drop you get 2 every time

those slayer bots with around 70 ranged look like they're going to be revs bots eventually, very similar stats to the hobgoblin bots
Not sure if you've heard, but theres a bunch of bots at Corp running instances all in different variations of karils and blessed dhide, including coifs.
Sadly enough, whoever is running the farms is bringing billions of gp into the game. Judging by the assumption they are single handedly gettin several sigils per day (equivalent to corp mass ccs)

Mage Bot Farm at Camelot tele. Crruntly on W445 but this is my 3rd day seeing them on different worlds while doing my herb runs.
The begging bots are insanely prevalent in f2p, most players don't know well enough to tell they are bots.
Been noticing the same scripts every day, over 30 bots per day on any given f2p world at the G.E
The names usually go like this
2 numbers, space, 4-5 letter word, space, 4 numbers.
I even went as far as hunting for auto account creation scripts that use this naming scheme, they exist en mass for free sadly. Jagex should be able to pick these up pretty easily, they all do the exact same starter crap to level up and use the exact same GE offers to buy their gear.
There’s a bot in that little house in lumby killing goblins with 1 attack 1 def and virtual level 101 in strength. It’s in world 301, check it out for yourselves

This is a ton of bots lvl 124 and lvl 125 in the rev caves at the hell hounds and pyrefiends the all wear the exact same gear and almost never pick up any loot from their kills. They are all using range only with the new bouncing bow, black dhide and a helm of netz. Would definitely be worth looking into and their is almost the exact same level in the same gear In total worlds.
Can I ask why this guy isn’t a p mod in game he’s helping the community cleaning up these bots

W515 master farmer thieving in draynor is crazy. All 110+ thieving barely any other stats and there's minimum of 5 at a time

There's bots farming Kurasks at Slayer Cave pretending to be on Slayer assignments but they're all exactly 70 Slayer to meet the requirement. Veracs chest, Rune Kite and Slayer Helm. They're all 90+ combat level. I've seen at least 10 of them all identical.

I was actually there cannoning hill giants the other day for giant keys. Is it possible they are killing the hill giants for XP and for giant keys to kill Obor? not the greatest GP per hour but its instanced and its easy as anything.
