Lol. Cool. I just bought some of these seeds from Incredible seeds. Seems to be a good company and they're from NS too. Im excited to get some of these seeds to grow and see and smell how awesome this plant is. Heard alot of raving about it. 👍👍
Very cool! Enjoy and good luck !!
Thanks for sharing! I've got some seeds sourced from Ontario that I've just pulled out of stratification. Trying to germinate currently with a bit of warmth in both soil and a wet paper towel. Looking forward to some spicebush if I can get them to grow...
Appreciate the message Simon !! Hope they sprout for you. Seems the sand/peat mix was the trick for me this year.
Thanks! What about propagating with seeds from the bush? I took some seeds from a neighbors bush.Should I store the seeds from the pod in the fridge until spring? Why do you like the Spicebush? Curious. A friend bakes with the seeds. Much appreciation.
Hi !! Thank you for checking out the Video!!
I would take them out of the pods, soak and place them in 9 cell germination packs with soil. Put them in the fridge or cold space for the winter and then place with light in a warm area of the house to germinate.
I have a friend that sells the spice bush from his store and he requested I grow them on the farm.
THank you!@@HagonjonesHomestead
