I've owned a Studio 5, and it has good 35Hz bass and up. I have a UE Megablast, UE in general can't play lower than 60Hz at all, it is more upper bass, It is louder than the Studio 5, but overall the Studio 5 has a way better bass response (also better bass response than the JBL Boombox in my opinion) but the JBL Boombox is noticeably louder, louder than the UE Megablast as well, and for the price of the Onyx, it's just phenomenal.
My thoughts exactly, the only reasons why DLX Willington decided on the HyperBoom is literally what he said in the videos, Stereo sound stage/more features, it all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day, while the HyperBoom may have more to offer, I’ll buy a Bluetooth speaker with lower bass response any day over one that can’t even reach lower frequencies again “personal preference” I wouldn’t mind The HyperBoom though. UE still needs improvement, what’s funny is, UE included passive radiators to increase lower bass, but keep in mind they’re not (active drivers) UE could’ve just included better transducers that have more potential, like yeah while the Stereo Image may stand out, many people are interested in Bass, I want more speaker to sound good but still, Low end bass is where the party is at :)
I prefer Onyx Studio 6, HiperBoom has a very reinforced bass, which ends up disturbing the other instruments, in Onyx her sound is very equalized, with balanced basses and mids

The onyx series has no Soundstage, it's narrow. Very narrow.
Can't you hear??
@@bradhuskers I'd say the Onyx 4 & Onyx 7 have a decent Soundstage. The Onyx 6 isn't too bad for a mono speaker. The Soundstage is very similar to that of the JBL Charge 5, but with a much deeper and richer sound signature.
@JBL King
I guess I search for speakers with wider Soundstage now. Which is why I hope the JBL engineers make the new boombox 3 an inch or two wider, which is highly possible and allow the tweeters to be farther apart.
Jbl charge 3 vs flip 5 please ?
LOVE THE SOUND of both of them...HYPERBOOM gets the slight edge from me though
Good one
UE Hyperboom vs JBL Partybox 100
No no no
Partbox 100 will probably destroy the UE Hyprrboom
Tomasz Abels or not
@@jblking3896 no it will there is no comp
flavio c19 explain how?
UE - stronger base
JBL - deeper base
Watch the partybox 100 and boom box 2 mop the floor with that new Logitech crap
@MI6 we all know the Sony's sound shit......
MI6 xb41. Haha don’t call me kid pal If u like Sony u know ur a twist up. The xb41🥴 it Actually doesn’t have any bass it’s just a humming sound the speakers don’t even vibrate it’s just a tinny sound meanwhile and jbl has the humming nice deep bass
Partybox fails in portability, weight, size, etc but better sound, more for home audio
Boom box 2 is not as loud as Hyperboom and loses bass when 100% volume
Hyperboom has better sound than boom box 2 for it's size and better size for less space in room or bag/ portability for travel or on the go.
@@Your_Delusiona1 it’s too boomy
Dude, really? How many decibels? Amazing.
The studio 5 is incredibly cheap now. I feel like I wasted money on my xtreme 2, 1.4 years ago
Me to
Yeah man try studio 5 you will be blown away your x2 will sound a toy after hearing the studio 5
Is extreme 2 is not good? Iam confused between Studios 5 and extreme 2
@@manojkale4408 Studio 5 blow the Xtreme 2 away.
@@basstester1824 I've tested the xtreme 2 VS onyx studio 6 and inside yeah studio 6 has way more deep bass but outdoors first of all xtreme 2 is a little bit louder, it has way more highs than the studio 6 and the bass is actually better heard outside on full volume
I can't find this for 200$ anywhere
JBL Partybox vs UE Hyperboom. The UE Hyperboom is still more so, they should be compared.
Harmony is good but little volume
How about 2 Onyx vs 1 hyperboom?
Easily destroyed the hyperboom better with stereo sound and powerful deeper clean bass
The hyperboom is just an upper bass
Hyperboom sounds a bit bitter, at least stereo is more transparent.
Good video
@ 5:10 the look and smile on Ur face made it clear that the ue was the winner👍🏻...ue is on another level at this point till the boombox2 is out...stay safe✌🏼
I already ordered the boombox 2 it's out I'm getting it in 2 days
I just bought the studio 6 for 160
When do you think either will get an update to USB C?! I really want a hyperboom but at 2x the price I'm leaning towards the Onyx... But USB C would really help! :D So glad you did this comparison!
My guess would be the studio 7🤞
Hyperboom 🤯
Can you please do a review on the jbl boom box 2?
I am team studio 5 6
It doesn't cost 200 dollars, where?
In 100% volume Hyperboom destroys Studio 6
hypeboom is stereo speaker while the studio 6 is mono...but if its same stereo speaker....hyperboom can't beat to H/K
It's not price just stupid! DLX willington says the bass of HK stodio 5 is way better than JBL boombox 2nd. The boombox is deep than the hyperboom. Now it sayz stodio 5 and 6 is also the same deeper bass. And now it says the hyperboom is more powerful better bass than the onyx stodio 6. And it says same the bass as the stodio 5?! I'm confused! :(
The HK onyx stodio 5 6 is significantly wayyyyyyyyyyy betterrrrrr deperrr bass than the hyperboom!
HK is way more clear and sharp
I dont care about loud and bass
UE Hypreboom
The upper bass king
studio 6 has fuller bass than the hyperboom.
Never
@@schacktastisch The Onyx Studio 6 has a deeper and more refined Bass than the UE Hyperboom. I am a Ultimate Ears Fan myself
