    Best part about the 911: All of them are good. From the base to the S models to the GTS to the Turbo S to the GT models. There's one for everyone (provided they don't bankrupt you).

      @@omaralkayal7598 wtf kind of logic is that.. Bc they're both German? Porsche is actually at the top of all luxury reliability ratings along with Lexus. The X1 is a fwd badge engineered mini Cooper, hardly related to the rest of their lineup

      @americanAlienBoy 3 роки тому +37

      @@papa_pt Current X1 is a rebodied Mini Countryman. Previous gen was effectively a stretched (and taller) 1 series. Ours has been dead-nuts reliable. There can be problems with the timing chain tensioners in the 4 cyl, but BMW has agreed to extend the warranty on those engines to cover that.
      The most reliable/cheapest to maintain car we ever owned was a 2nd gen Civic. Our E39 chassis 530 was a very close 2nd. We put over 100k miles on that, and the only expense was replacing a window seal (2 hours of my time and $35). Least reliable/most expensive to keep running? Tie between the Subaru and the 1st gen Integra.

      @@americanAlienBoy yeah I recently realized the first gen was the closest we came to a turbo six e91 wagon in the states. Yes loved my e39 530.. Also had a 2011 Subaru legacy that was dead reliable. Currently on an e61 535 and have to say pretty much deprise drivijnf the X1 when I get a loaner. The pedals are like on and off switches no progression

      I would say that it would possibly be not very good for relations with their brand representatives. because he will have to say, that some brands just plain suck, and others do not. And when somebody tells people that your cars suck you dont want to give your new cars to review

    • @_Makanko_
      @_Makanko_ 3 роки тому +4

      I think the issue is usually not with the audio system brand but rather how the car manufacturers build the system into their cars. A list might be difficult and they usually just state whether it's better to pay more for the "premium" sound upgrade or not. I think before they can make a list on the better audio system you would have to categorise them based on price and use case first.
      It's not a bad idea, I think it might be a good thing to ask on one of their live Q&A's.

    • @amathern
      @amathern 3 роки тому +2

      This is something I've wondered as well. It looks like use technical stats as well as subjective measures to determine which stereos are good and which ones are bad. Someone above commented they might not be ready to spill the beans who has the worst system out there. However, I think they could do this in a tasteful, non-disparaging way. Besides, these brands need to know that there are a lot of us out here who really do care about the audio system in a vehicle, no matter what kind of vehicle it is.
      Do it! Do it! Do it!

I can say that this area is the perfect place to test a sports car - those turns are no joke and will wake you up right away - not to mention some nice greenery.
    If money was no object I think I'd take the Targa 4 GTS - seems like a nice compromise between a Cabriolet and the coupe. Having the ability to take the roof off always makes the driving experience more fun, while having a hard top is nice for longer drives on the highway.

    I have noticed that each new generation of 911 GTS has been as capable or better than the previous generation 911 GT3. If this holds, the 992 GTS will be comparable to the 991.2 GT3! That alone will be remarkable.

    For the real world and without a track near by, GTS all day. I'd go manual coupe, normal sport seats, red interior with dark blue or the green metallic paint, keep the options low so it's actually less than a GT3 lol. Only problem is that the 718 4.0 exists and that's an even better sports car and it's $50k cheaper.

    • @markmiller3279
      @markmiller3279 3 роки тому

      I completely agree. The 718 is a better car in many ways, and lacks hardly anything meaningful. It won't appeal to hardcore Porschephiles in the same way, but who cares? You can buy a nice commuter car with the price difference. Maybe a BEV, even.

      It's not even difficult if you WANT to make it sound exciting. Usually it is legal restrictions that make it tricky. Cars like this might fall under certain 'easings' of the rules, or maybe not even that but buyers don't take issue with a loud engine and/or exhaust.
      Plus, the engineers know all the emissions hoops and tricks, so they can make an engine with sharp cams that sounds aggressive and revs high that still meets emissions standards. ... One of those 'tricks' is to have a shitton of money in the budget.

    Really nice implementation of drivers interaction with instruments with plenty of buttons and a simple yet powerful touch screen experience. Although I would prefer absolute rotary knobs for temperature and wind blowing speed.
    And there is at least one button missing: close air circulation. Yesterday I was driving and I had to use multiple times. Luckily my "old" car has physical button and when I see some oil burning car or people burning branches/leaves I can quickly turn incar air circulation. Imagine the hassle of using a touch screen implementation that is nowadays being forgotten about as we do not need to close air circulation since we are going "environment friendly"/no exhaust electric cars.
