Ingredients
1 medium sized bowl soya chunks
2 small sized potato
1 large sized onion
2 medium sized tomatoes
1/2 inch ginger grated
4-5 pieces garlic
3-4 tbsp mustard oil
Pinch of asafoetida
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 bayleaf
1 small cardamom
2 black pepper
1 tbsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriender powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp kitchen king masala powder
Recipe
In a bowl add soya chunks water 1.5 cups and salt Boil it and add cold water to make it cool down properly. After that squeeze soya chunks and keep it aside. For gravy roughly chopped all vegetables and in a pressure cooker add mustard oil. When it heats add cumin seeds and asafoetida and add all whole spices.When flavour release add onion saute for 1 minute and add ginger garlic and potatoes. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes and add soya chunks and tomatoes. Now add all powdered spices cook for 2 minutes and add 2 to 3 spoons of water to cook all spices properly. Add fenugreek leaves or kasuri methi for flavour and more taste . Cover with plate. Cook for 5 minutes on low flame. After 5 minutes add 1.5 cups of water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles on medium flame. Now your delicious soya chunks gravy is ready to serve.
