I am an AU guy and Jordan-hare gets really loud. But LSU at night is probably the king as far as sheer rowdiness. Everyone is drunk and crazy. LSU vs. Auburn in 1988. Look it up on YT. Caused the seismometer on campus to register an earthquake.

I have been to many many stadiums during big time games and I would have to say LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Auburn, clemson, Florida State, and texas A M were by far the loudest. I have never been to Oregon stadium though, I hear it is pretty loud because of the acoustics
I guess none of these fools ever went to a night game at Kyle Field. 2010 Nebraska was freaking insane; my brother had to leave after 10 minutes bc of a severe migraine from the first two drives when we were on Defense. We won 9-6 with no TDs

LSU...Tiger Stadium is 100% concrete and steel and the original part of it is now out of code because of the height. It holds in the sound unlike any other stadium.

In the 30s (or thereabouts) the Congress wanted dorms and the governor wanted more seats in stadium. The governor had the dorms built into stadium. This make the tiger stadium structure very stacked up and steep giviving a tight bowl. This holds in sound and has is coming down at a steep pitch. Throw in Saturday night and drinking from sun up and it’s rocking!!
I've been to a lot of stadiums but only in the sec, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, u name it. And I will tell u, at night there's nothing like LSU's crowd. Craziest stadium I've been to and the worst part is, is that I never got to sit down

There is no valley, like the valley of death in Baton Rouge. LSU upsets no. 1 Florida. They tore the goal post down, only time in LSU history. It was deafening, to be there at that moment is a memory to never forget. LSU's touchdown pass beating Auburn in the last seconds of the game. The crowd eruption registered on the USGS as an earthquake, and took them several days to figure out what the cause was.

Originally called "Deaf Valley" and the TV sports announcers screwed it up saying Death Valley. There is only on Death Valley in football and that is Clemson. The original. Look it up on your own LSU history page and look it up on Clemson's. In fairness, I would love to attend a game at LSU.

I'm from baton rouge. I live in tigerland. I can attest being a LSU alumni and also have traveled to other stadiums. Nothing, I mean nothing, compares to Death Valley.

When it’s a big game on a Saturday night the the REAL Death Valley (tigers stadium) it’s been proven to be the loudest stadium in the northern hemisphere.

I was at that Oklahoma UCLA game. I don’t remember it being particularly loud. Antonio Perkins set an NCAA record and returned 3 punt returns for TDs. OU doesn’t have a reputation for being a loud stadium, except for special occasions like OU Texas Tech 08.
I heard players say they couldnt hear play calls in the huddle at Neyland Stadium when OU played Tennessee in Baker Mayfields first game.
I've been to a sold out game at Penn State, and when every seat in the third largest stadium in the entire world is filled with screaming fans, yeah it gets a little loud.

I was at the Clemson v Auburn game mentioned in this video. As a Clemson fan the thing that really stood out to me about that place was the steepness of the end zones and the pom poms there which sort of made a "TV Snow" look. I remember thinking how tough it was going to be on our true freshman kicker, and when the game went to OT and he made his first attempt only to have a snap infraction to have to try again, I felt the miss coming. That was a real head-cracking football game that night.
Vol fans have traditionally been reactionary, but when they get going, because of the 100,000+ and the totally enclosed upper decks all the way around, Neyland holds the noise more than anywhere else I have been. Big night game Sept or Oct is loudest in the SEC, maybe along with LSU.

I'm biased and I say Lane Stadium but there are a dozen that are worthy. I can tell you that Clemson and LSU are on the mountaintop. Believe it or not in the McNabb days, the Carrier Dome was not a fun place to be

Since the renovation of the stadium, Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville can be deafening. Left there many times with my ears ringing after a big game. Cowbells have a lot to do with that, but it’s loud nonetheless.

I went to an LSU-Alabama night game at Death Valley in the mid-80s and it was literally so loud it made me a little nauseous at first. Autzen Stadium is also a decibel factory.
Arkansas, simply because when the entire stadium calls the hogs, it feels like hell is pouring down on you.
ESPECIALLY if (a) you're sitting near the student section, (b) we are about to win, or (c) we're making a comeback.
If any of those circumstances happens during an LSU game, God have mercy on your soul.

I went to Ohio State vs Michigan in 2016. Best environment I've ever been in. When it was 4th and G for Mich in the first OT, that stadium got so damn loud, I couldn't believe it.

Tennessee Vols have the loudest fans overall! Not just 1 particular game. Neyland Stadium has a higher attendance than many NFL games. And they honor the visiting teams by playing their fight songs also!

At the OU vs Ohio St game in 2016 I sat at the end of the student section and measured 120.3 decibals on one of the 1st plays that OU was on defense.

Yes i am a die hard LSU fan.. but there is no denying Saturday in death valley especially at night. I go to all the home games. And yes some away.. i have had many people from other team's tell me the hate to play us on a Saturday night.. the atmosphere and electrifying experience. Just this year when cbs took us to 230 games. For example i had many AUB fans say the same.. also people from visiting times. That have even beat us at home. Tell us what a amazing experience it was that day and to experience a game in death valley. I have been blessed to experience all my childhood, as a adult, and still today. To say how much passion we have in our team. And to still get the chance to be there. I still get chills and tears in my eyes at times. Every fanbase has there support of there team. As it should be.. but when it comes to experience. Not only for the game but all day on campus. And the loud factor. Sorry hands down LSU. And it truly makes me feel good when our opponents say what it was like for them.
