It was home for 3 years and loved the proximity to everything, the little garden and the privacy. Easy Mexican living! Bob and Candice are great landlords, always available and made living there a breeze. Only moved away because I bought a house otherwise I would still be living there. 😊
We lived in Casa Dulce on two occasions and have fond memories of it. The location is perfect for access to everything Chapala has to offer with no need for a car. And the property reflects the many years of work the owners have put into making it comfortable to live in.
We were so happy here our first year in the area. It's a fabulous location, close to the main market restaurants, cafes, park, waterfront. But also quieter than you'd expect.

Some pretty features but the private patio areas seem very small unfortunately. Also, no views.😕
Thank you. The value in this home is its square footage for its price. almost 10,000 square feet. It has two large patios in units already rented. It was once one single family residence with approximately 6 quaint balconies and a lower level courtyard. It is also one block to the lake. If the property was on the lake, the price point would be significantly higher. This is a perfect property for a couple o live in the penthouse and earn $5000 USD monthly in passive rental income.
Each apartment has an exterior view, the main patio is for entertaining and private meetings, gatherings. the apartments patios have the views. The main point of the building is the location, within walking distance to restaurants, American Legion and the Chapala plaza. No need for a car! One block from the malacon. Perfect place to stay for snow birds and people coming down to explore the area for potential retirement .

Looks like a lot of deferred maintenance.
I tend to look at the positives. Over 10,000 square feet of home in a prime location with great rental potential. It requires some renovating but a nice historic building near the malecon.
