- Got some Goodyear Eagle F1s installed today. Went with a 275/40/17 on the rear. They fit the stock rims no problem. Used to have a 285, but they didn't fit as well and you can't even get this tire in that size anymore.

The "SS" is looking great!!
hey man been reading on the message boards that the 40 profile looks too thin for such a big car. I am gonna lower mine with the hotchkis springs which will help close a gap but still don't want it looking strange...or shit even worse being too low and scraping everything. springs will drop it an inch and going from the stock 50s to 40s will add about another inch to the drop. your thoughts?
Those have been out forever. I need some new 255/50/17s
+Ghetto Wagon yea they have. Starting to not see them as much and Goodyear doesn't have much in way of sizes.
Your dad had 285? what was the hole size for the rear and why you didn't go back with the 285?
+melmayback hole size? Can't get this tire in 285 anymore. Wanted same type as up front.
Did you ever had the bfgoodrich the tires that the car came out from the dealer. That's what my 96 have.
+Frank Escobedo yea they were on from 96-2002 or around then.
Im findin it difficult to find a new tiresize, here in my country no 255 50 r17s to find. Any suggestions? Without the ABS having a meltdown lol
I was running a 275 out back with no issues...
What was used to clean your wheels
+Corey Robinson just oem and car wash and wax. Nothing fancy. They're actually kinda dirty...
What kind of a sway bar is that ?
+Eyad Jam hotchkis
does it make the ride smoother or what ?
+Eyad Jam overall just tighter and less body roll with the bigger bars and urethane. I did this with lots of other suspension mode though too.
Do a burnout
+Mike Woods ehh. Too expensive for that.
