At the end, who took brunt of love the most is man wol herself. Because of Yeon woo and Chung mung love for her and understanding between them, they kept her in dark not telling the truth, so she can live even at least for revenge. But they left one thing that it is , she didn't care for her life from starting to end, as long as she lived she just wanted to take care of her people and Yeon woo who she considered as her family. yeon woo also wanted man wol to live in peace and happiness but he couldn't give peace and happiness for her atleast he wanted to let her live. But he forgot that if a person who has no one to take care of or being taken care of, is a person who is absolutely alone and that person will break at one point either to live because they can't die that they become so twisted that they cover up their loneliness and pain numbing feeling with weird habits or they will want to kill themselves. The former is the case of man wol. I really feel man wol is the most pitiful character, then Chung mung for us. But other side character of the hotel also had a unfair past and unfair death. Unfair life is the most painful one to let go of.
Chun myeong has to be one of the most pitiful characters in this drama, I mean the only sin he and man wol committed was to fall in love, she was a thief/rebel and he was a captain who worked for the palace, he was going to bet on her but was busted, his desicion nevertheless save her life and many others but Yeon a died, and man wol and chun myeong lived a very long and painful 1000 years ridden with guilt, so I liked their story more it was so painful and beautiful to watch, the right person at a very wrong time. But if the princess and yeon a could be lovers in this life I imagine the captain and man wol will be lovers and will have a happy ending in the next live
I never wanted to watch this drama because it feels so scary but after I watched this video I'll try to watch it.. I like the kid, great acting on Camellia drama:)

I think you really misunderstood about her/go Chung myul character here! He not doing that for herself sake but for everyone. The story or situation he had is left with 2 option, first he can just choose to died as traitor of country who join forces as rebellion with jang man-wol gang's but side effects of it is he related person such as family, friend, etc in the castle will also died because of her and its not even change the fate for jang man-wol gang's too because the princess who loves go Chung myul already order the troops to catch them. Second choice is just go on with princess plan to prove him not the betrayers with catching jang man-wol gang's so he go Chung myul can also saved her people who related with her in the palace. So I personally think her choice already the best way considering these situation because even if he chooses to run away with Jang man-wol gang's instead not just her people in the palace died but their Jang man-wol gang's lives also still in misery because the king and princess will order the troops to hunting them and it's even more selfishness choice. Afterall the only lacking on go Chung myul character is if he give explanation towards Jang man-wol before he died I think she will not life in hatred and revengeful like that.
True, I mean Man Wol was still a criminal so putting lots of innocent lives at stake for her would only be selfish on his part. They had to die either way, he only tried to go for less casualties.
