I thought they would find a way to make the firefly a part of koo's soul (the part with the memory, that's why she couldn't recognize him) but it's actually another man. A great man, who helped her, but could have easily stayed as a friend, the other one also loved her and stayed with her all this time without her knowing, almost lost his existence to bring koo back to her from the tunel, cause he loved her so much (who saves other man so this man can be with the woman you love, cause it will make her happy, even if she is dead like you and the man isn't?) And then again when he showed himself to her. I don't get how their souls wouldn't reunite on the next life. And Koo lived the rest of that life alone? Missing her? This is terrible I'm mad. The girl thought the guy betrayed her but the guy married the princess and did all of those things so that the girl will not be killed by the royal family because of this the girl's best friend died thats why she's so angry to this guy in the vid and wanted to get revenge. The guy had a reason and that was to save the girl (manweol) the guy ended up getting killed by the girl so the truth wasnt revealed and it ended like that. soon after that the girl was cursed since she committed many sins she was tied down by the tree and the hotel was built (hotel del luna) which is a hotel for ghost wherein they serve ghost until they can peacefully go and cross the next life. The girl became the owner of that hotel as a punishment given to her by the deity she needs to pay for all her sins by being alive so she's basically living for more than hundred of years with torture. So shes basically dead but she's still alive and just completing her punishment in order to be reincarnated and cross the next life. Her punishment will end in the dictated time by the deity and if she will be able to serve the guest in hotel del luna good. The guy who was killed by her became a firefly. Since the beginning of the series there was always this firefly who was always around her and protecting and watching over her. Her punishment is wrapping up and she will be able to be reincarnated soon but she needs to finish her last task which is to make everyone and the staffs at hotel del luna to be able to cross the next life and be reincarnated and if everyone's settled thats the time for her to go (all the customers she had in the hotel should be able to cross the next life peacefully so she worked hard to solve all of their unsolved grudges) but the biggest plot twist is that the guy/firefly was the first ever customer of hotel del luna she need to let the firefly first to cross the next life and solve its grudge before she can cross the next life. their love story was heartbreaking but manweol and the ml’s love story has a comedy touch to it. so i understand why everyone felt hook with them than the main lead.
