I love Thomas Bergersen's music. Is there a CD available of this? I would love to have it.
Almost for 60 years listening to ancients, baroques, pre-clasics, classics, post-classics,romantics,post-romantics, serialists, dodecafonics, aleatoristics, etc,etc, to find now, in 2014, that something so incredible as Bergersen's music exists, is the gratest discovery of the last years of my existence !!!!!!!

I've had similar feelings about my 73 years on this earth having looked for music just like this but without success until a few years back stumbling upon my first taste of "epic." Richard Wagner came close in classical, Phil Spector came close in pop--but THIS is the music that makes me feel as if my search is complete and my life is fulfilled. I can die a happy man.
Hans Zimmer and Thomas Bergersen together would simply perfect.

No one can disagree that he's amazing :D
One of the coolest things about him is that he treats movie score type music like pop music. He doesn't need a movie to compose this type of music, and we as listeners don't need the backdrop of a movie to enjoy it. It's something fairly rare in the modern music scene. As a fan of the orchestral movie score genre, I've waited a long time for a composer to emerge and do just... this.
I just hope everyone actually ensures that he can continue to compose music by actually going to iTunes or Amazon or w/e and opens their wallets and pay for their favorite tracks. It's only fair.

Best composer I have ever heard. No other composer can seem to do both beauty and epic well. They usually do one or the other, but Bergersen does both better than anyone!
This album contains a lot of good songs. To choose the best among them is a difficult task. Each of them takes us to a different time, a different place, a different memory and makes us activate different feelings. That's what makes good quality music.

Sorry buddy, but if you make broad stroke comments like that, you show your ignorance. You either haven't listened to the right techno tracks, or you simply weren't paying attention.
Techno, first off is more associated with the first half of the 90s. Laying the foundation for the techno genre up were the synth musicians of the 70s and 80s like Vangelis, Jarre, and Tangerine Dream. From Tangerine Dream emerged one of the greatest musician of our time - Hans Zimmer. From the genre of orchestral music that he basically single handedly created emerged musicians like Thomas Bergersen here, Harry Gregson-Williams, Steve Jablonski, and how about Tom Holkenborg AKA Junkie XL? He does both dance/techno AND orchestral music for movies. Modern musicians mix and match musical genres.
So... don't be closed-minded.

When my time comes for me to leave this ol' Earth, may I be greeted by the Lord Himself, May I hear these words "Welcome home my child !" May I also hear the music of Thomas Bergersen as my soul ascends to Heaven itself. That would not be the end of my journey. It is only the beginning of my life.

i think the most underrated song by thomas is "tower of mischief". i mean this song shows that he can create epic music withoug big Drums and BRRAAM effects. there are tons of detail in this song and it´s just damn good. I wish he would do more stuff like that...
