    They say that traditional corsos do not have underbites but scissor bites. Is that true?

    Hi, great presentation. If you would, can you please inform me how or where I can get the diagram that you are showing?

    What's is there weights,? I like the second brindle dog better in the case that he is wider than the black one making him more of a stud dog to breed too .

    What should be the rate of shortening of the tail in the pup when performing the tailbone aesthetic?

    • @thecanecorsohour2263
      @thecanecorsohour2263  Рік тому +2

      The aspect of the tail length is that as an adult it should be functional as a handle to grab and completely fit into the hand and no longer. As a puppy experience is the best guide as where to cut however a basic reference is at 3 days old to cut where the tail just begins to transition from the thick base to a fast taper..

    How can you tell or can you tell what the dog is going to look like at a puppy Stage? I’ve got a puppy that had a proportionate looking muzzle when we purchased him but as he got older his schnoz got so long. Do their proportions change as they get older? Is that why you’re using a one year old?

    • @bigcws4522
      @bigcws4522 Рік тому +1

      That is a good question for people I thought I would help you being we raise puppies and livestock generally if you have two good parents with really decent genetics most of the time the puppy will either look more like Mom or look more like Dad very rarely does the puppy have perfect genetics of both or even less than perfect because usually when you get a puppy that has Mom and Dad great traits those are the puppies the owner will hold back for themselves for their ideal stock.

    • @bigcws4522
      @bigcws4522 Рік тому +1

      Also when I said ideal stock it's what breeders generally look or hope to have for their breeding program. A puppy having a little bit of mom and dad both will give you a better percentage of what you want or need to have for your program.

    • @bigcws4522
      @bigcws4522 Рік тому

      Honestly either mom or dad didn't have very good genetics hopefully that's not the case but that's what it sure sounds like.

      @@bigcws4522 I think I got swindled. I paid 500$ extra for “pick of the litter” and he suggested the one I “picked”. More educated now. I just wish people were more honest. Thanks for your response.

      @@nathanfairrow3774 for future reference it doesn't hurt to ask and see the grandparents. Trust me it makes a huge difference and research both sides of the bloodline I live here in Missouri if I can ever help you out would be glad to take care hopefully it all works out.

    What about two different color eye one turned dark brown one stayed hazel

    • @thecanecorsohour2263
      @thecanecorsohour2263  Рік тому +1

      Not something seen in the Corso. Ideally you want both eyes matching however as long as the color is correct it would not be considered a fault.

    • @peggya7164
      @peggya7164 Рік тому

      @@thecanecorsohour2263 so is there anything you he breeder is responsible for. I love my fur baby however I want both eyes to match. This has to be some genetic flaw. Where at least the breeder should compensate by some amount of refund my year of guarantee is not ended yet. I wanted a pup like seen on his farm and website. I want both eyes to be the same I don’t care what the color is as long as they are the same. This is what give breeders poor reputations. No one has seen this in the blood line. Ripped off again.

    • @peggya7164
      @peggya7164 Рік тому

      @@thecanecorsohour2263 no one will want to breed with him because their pup may have the same genetic mutation.

      Just give it time if your PUP is still young it could take up to 9 to 12mos. For the eyes to literally get to their permanent color. It will work out.
