Jean Michel Saive's way of playing was advanced for his time. He creatively created the backhand to loop rather than flick the main system, for the technical progress of table tennis has made a great contribution. He's indeed a legend!
@@michaelshaw7652 Not that effective 'cause he injured his knee very early in his career. In Wang's era Ma Long ends up like Liu Guozheng another guy who tried to punch above his weight.
Watch back Wang's play compared with Ma Long, one thing is for sure, Ma is a much more balanced and much more talented player. Fan Zhengdong now is a much upgraded player than Kong and Wang.
I don't like Michel's style. He doesn't initiate fights. He simply hits hard the balls that came hard. Wang should've gave the ball to his forehand side. Then Michel would have no chance against Wang.

Jean se fosse desta geração com certeza seria número 1 do mundo monstruosamente como Ma Long, Fan Zhendong e por aí vai.
Saive made an unexpected well defendence in this match. Wang was a little bit hurry to loop more power.
It was a spectacular performance
Wow, this point from 6:28
Wonderful for saive
Very impressive for Michel saive.
Nice Jami
the most powerful forehand in the world====> Wang Liqin (Ma Long is his miniature)
Most powerful, yes. But Ma Long's forehand is most effective and reliable. Would take Ma's forehand any day.

Initiate fights? Are you mad?
