Hey Tina, I get really chapped lips too. My trick is to wear vasaline on my lips in the shower. Then halfway through, scrub it off. It helps to slough off the dead skin and is super moisturizing. I also wear it to bed lol
I put aquaphor on my lips before bed after washing my face and lips, and then again in the morning after brushing my teeth. Such a have changer for my poor lips. They used to get so peely but not since I started that routine.

I do something similar! I put dr. pawpaw balm on the lips at night, and then wash and gently rub the dead skin off in the morning. I've never had chapped lips ever since i started doing it every night 😊
i also have the habit of applying vaseline to my lips every night before bed to get moisturized & plumped lips for the whole day ! ❤️ bye bye to chapped lips 👋🏻
Sadly I wish I can I am allergic to Vaseline aka petroleum jelly 😢

I love K-beauty videos! 💜 Tip for dry lips: put a layer of Aquaphor (the original, not the lip treatment) on before bed. It helps so much!

Although I don’t have super dry chapped lips, they do get chapped from the cold weather here in Canada every now and then. I use Palmer’s Cocoa butter swivel stick (can use for dry skin too if in a pinch) and Clinique moisture surge lip treatment alternately. Both are incredibly hydrating and wont cause sensitive lips to react.
Obviously her skin is so smooth and hydrated without makeup too! I can tell it even from the screen!

Just a random fact: you know how some people sneeze when they look at the sun? You wanted to sneeze when you had the makeup brush in between your eyebrows due to a similar effect. That is where your light sensor is, and if you look at rays from the sun you wanna sneeze, and that brush is a similar feeling.
It's called photic sneeze effect/reflex. It's genetic. My son has it but my husband and I don't! Genetics are fun :)
Lol I thought I was the weird one for sneezing because of having eye contact with the sun 😂. Never thought I'd learn something about myself something in a beauty vid!

I swear by Laneige's lip sleeping masks and lip treatment balm! O'Keeffe's lip balm is really good for chapped lips too, specifically the cooling one! I haven't had chapped lips for maybe 3+ years now since I've used these products

i like wearing a more hydrating lip balm/mask at the start of my skincare routine and then layering a thick layer of vaseline/aquaphor over it right when i want to sleep

I found taking some fish oil supplements helped my dry lips. Within a week or so, it went from peeling, dry lips to supple and no issues with lipsticks.
Please do this more plz cause this is the best

A trick I learned for my very dry lips is using the hemp lip balm from the Bodyshop, and sometimes at night I put on the balm and a layer of hydrating Lipgloss to seal it in, in the morning my lips are very soft :)

I always apply chapstick before I go to bed, it softens the dead skin overnight and in the morning you can gently wipe it away without hurting your lips. Then apply more right after. My lips are always soft since making this my routine.

Hello Tina, I get super dry lips too, because I get eczema on the lips! I use Vaseline lip therapy advanced healing and it really helps me, especially battling eczema for years and years! I apply it the moment my lips feel dry, and it really helps :D
(edit: It's really useful especially since I'm living smack dab on the equator)

I got similar dry lips. But I use lots of thick emollient ointment/cream as mask before going to bed and I use that whenever I'm home as well.. that keeps the lips soft and ready for lipstick. And the silicone lip/face brushes are good for removing dead skin as well after a long shower when everything is soft
Heyyy Tina! I loveeee using matte liquid lips always, but I had very dry lips, so the cracks were very obvious no matter how much lip balm I lather on, until I saw somewhere to try Lucas’ Pawpaw Ointment. it’s changed for me. I used to wear it day and night, but after awhile it’s just in the day:) they sell it in Watsons in SG!

Hi Tina i used to have chapped + black lips before and I didn't liked it so I bought some lip balms and my lips did get better but after i stopped using the lip balm my lips became same as before so i did a lot of research then i started applying ice on my lips every night before sleeping and that really helped because it kept my lips hydrated and I have rose pink color lips now and I seriously believe that nature can help you with every single thing even in workouts after stopping we gain double weight but in yoga the result are best and it doesn't even make you gain weight after stopping it
I used to have the same problem until I discovered lip sleeping masks, changed my life. I always put a thick layer on before bed and my lips are incredibly soft in the morning.

Facial yoga can actually provide instant results if your doing the right exercises and doing them correctly, I combine that with my microcurrent device and *chefs kiss* it really does make a difference

i dunno if anyone has suggested this but this was a GAME CHANGER for my chapped lips that i had given up on until this year: apply a face moisturizer on the lips (La Roche Posay cicaplast says it's suitable for lips but honestly i've been using any moisturizer) THEN apply petrolatum (plain vaseline in my case). MAN, the differenceeeeeeee. I have NEVER not had chapped lips and now my lips are rarely chapped as long as i dont forget to do this process & drink lots of water hahaha
I used to have really dry lips, where i could peel of the skin everyday and i would pick at it. Tried all sort of lip balm that others recommended but didnt really work. Tried vaseline too, it helped in the beginning but couldnt last long. Now i use Laneige's lip mask every night and the problem is solved!

Same, Tina, same 🤣. My lips are always super chapped too (especially in winter), so I just lather on chapstick or a rlly good moisturizing lip balm then cover it w/lipstick so I don’t feel like I just put on way too much moisturizer (it does stop that feeling… sometimes 😅).
Lanolips 101 ointment is the best thing for dry chapped lips. I also use it on cuticles, elbows etc. Anywhere you get dry skin.

Hi Tina so it’s getting to be October and fall weather makes my lips cracked and dry i just use vaseline trust me you don’t need fancy or expensive lip creams just use vaseline every day and your lips will be cured!!

My recommendation to help your lips: when you moisturize your face don't forget a little bit your lips too! Then continue with any of the balms others have recommended ☺️

I always struggled with dry lips and honestly only dedcool's lip balms helped me. I haven't stopped using them and I no longer have dry lips hehe
